It's a cute little affordable hotel, nothing too fancy. the rooms were very clean and newly furbished giving it a modern touch. they had a kettle, mugs and some snacks as well. toilets were also clean and moderate. tv had Netflix as well. very nice and comfortable beds. after going through the corridors and stairs of the hotel seeing the rooms was a nice breath of fresh air. the lobby was tiny but clean and had a coffee machine and refreshments cabinet with a good variety of drinks and juices. the receptionist Deep was very kind and helpful and was always there when needed. we needed another room when we got there and he was happy to help arrange it for us as soon as possible. the hotel had a tiny lift fitting about 5 persons (130kg) per trip which was also convenient. didn't have breakfast so I can't say much about that, but restaurants and shops were easily accessible at a walking distance from the location. the hotel isn't located on the main road with a sea view it's on one of the streets but that's no problem as you can literally see the sea right as you step outside the hotel and walk a few steps forward.

the corridors and stairs definitely need refurbishing but nothing wrong apart from that :)

Booked at very short notice as no public transport to get home. Nice size of room (comfortable even if fairly basic) Staff very helpful - I had left phone charger at home and was leant one overnight.

No real issues for vast majority of stay. Wind was quite strong on morning of 27th (not an issue) & was only in morning I saw that Window had no lock & had blown open (looking like lock had fallen off previously & without the wind no one had made staff aware). This is probably more a complaint about guests who don't make hotel aware so they can fix.

The room was lovely and bed comfy. The heated floor in the bathroom was a bonus. The location of the hotel is one of the reasons we choose to stay here. Just a short walk to the main shops and pier.

The shower wasn't the best. And the new £25 per night deposit rule was a shock as there was nothing on their page or in the message I received after booking. There is just a notice on the reception desk. I paid the £50 deposit for the two nights but not happy as it left me £50 down. Checked out yesterday morning and it still has not been returned to my card😡😡Unfortunately this means that we will most likely not be staying in what was once our go to hotel in Eastbourne anymore as I'm not prepared to have to pay £50 or more on top of paying for the room and parking

Lovely room, appeared recently refurbished and redecorated. Large flatscreen TV, comfortable bed, plenty of storage. Luxury, well-appointed bathroom with shower over bath.

The bathroom window was old and single-glazed. Even when closed, it let a draught through which caused the door to rattle quite loudly. Other guests were quite noisy. We could hear their conversations and them slamming doors in the corridor clearly, which disturbed our sleep.

It was just right for what we needed. I was looking for 3 single beds in the same room. The beds were comfortable.

Side light next to beds were not working.

This is the second time I have stayed at Pearl and Pebbles and it matched my expectations once again. The room was clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was large and clean, and the Wi-Fi worked extremely well. Away from the room, the hotel looks a little dated still, but I'm sure the corridors will be renovated in time. All in all, it's a lovely hotel to stay in, close to the seafront, the town, and Devonshire Park (for the tennis)

The price we paid for the room seemed a little steep, but it appears to be the going rate for Eastbourne when the Eastbourne International Tennis event is on. A couple of minor things that I wasn't so keen on - the window in the bathroom wasn't frosted (although, being on the top floor, it'll be difficult for many people to have seen me in the bathroom), and there wasn't a bathmat or handrail when climbing into the bath to use the shower. Other than that, the room was excellent and I'm sure to book again for next year.

Staff were very welcoming and explained house rules well. The beds were clean and very comfortable. I appreciated the alarm that sounds upon opening the room door as this helped me feel safe and secure. A well kept, clean, and hospitable place to stay with the added bonus of the sea front being just across the road! Excellent value for money.

Unfortunately, the TV volume seemed to be set at 45 (much louder than comfortable). I can understand restriction on volume in terms of patrons blasting sound, but it was odd that the volume couldn't be lowered.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and modern. The lift was a pleasant surprise too!

The lobby/reception area could do with brightening up a little. On Booking.com it seems to infer that there's parking and reservations aren't required but it's just onstreet parking, first come first served, and I had to park a few blocks away. This caused a great deal of stress. However, perhaps I should have done more to check the parking situation beforehand. There was a lack of shelving / surface space in the room / bathroom which would have been really helpful.

Amazing time staying at pearl and pebbles with my daughter and her friend. The room was spacious clean and bright and the bathroom was clean and very pleasant to use .. My daughter and her friend enjoyed a sleepover at the hotel watching movies and eating snacks while I took pleasure in using the bath for a long relaxing soak . We had a partial sea view out of the window and were amazed at what we got for the price we paid. Definitely a bargain!

Nothing everything exceeded out expectations

The Room had been refurbished and was clean and comfortable. We could see the sea from our window. The hotel is in a very good location between the Wish Tower and Pier. The staff we met were lovely and very helpful. Deep who was on reception helped us with ticket for parking in the zones around the hotel £2 a day...also when we ran short of tea, milk and anything else he was quick to get it sorted. A Hairdryer was available from reception free of charge as I forgot mine. If you aren't expecting a hotel with bed and breakfast, bar, lots of extras but want a comfy, clean, good location hotel, then this is it. We would definitely stay again.

Only things out of the hotels control.. some scaffolding up and work going on on another building could be a little noisy once they started working in the morning. But was ok with window shut.
