Wonderful hotel, honestly, the best ive been. Everything was perfect starting from design and location and staff and ending with bed comfiness, amenities downstairs, room structure and bathroom. I will definitely return

I think breakfast was the only underwhelming thing for me in this hotel. The meal was tasteless, vegetables had no seasoning, potatoes underdone and raw.. Eggs in the buffet are also practically raw :( overall restaurant is focusing on meat eaters, please considerate vegetarians too and add more meals

The personnel were really nice. Rooms well-equipped and felt cosy. Breakfast was delicious and the lady who greeted the guests at the breakfast restaurant was lovely, small-talking and asking me about my trip. The lounge area which is open in the afternoon is a nice feature as well. Location is perfect!

My room felt a bit cramped (had a Standard Double Room), but it is not a major complaint as it was still big enough for me to hang out at night when I didn't feel like going out. It would have been nice with a few more washing machines at the hotel, as it was a bit hard finding an available machine.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Being so close to the train station made getting to and from the hotel easy, and lugging our luggage was never a hassle. The room itself was surprisingly spacious compared to most hotels in Japan, which was a nice change. Another big plus was the hotel’s proximity to a variety of great places to eat. It really made our stay more enjoyable and convenient.

The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was a bit slow, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, we couldn’t think of anything else we didn’t like about the hotel.

The location within Kyoto was very nice, late at night when no busses were running we mostly only had a 15 min walk back to the hotel - also it was very easy to travel to all the amenities from there. The staff was very nice all the time and also at the time of checkout let us park our luggage for no extra cost - it was raining that day too so they even called a taxi for us later that day to get to the Shinkansen. Rooms were clean, quiet and spacious. The Room and Bathroom were very well ventilated providing an even better sleep.

Loved this hotel - rooms are not large but probably larger than a lot of rooms in Kyoto. What made this hotel for me were the staff. They were the most helpful and friendly staff I have ever come across - all of the staff members. From the moment we entered the hotel we felt welcomed and valued. The lady at breakfast is lovely. The hotel itself is modern, clean and nicely decorated. Everything is pristine. Easy access to public transport and always felt safe (although that is true of all the places we’ve been to in Japan). Glad we stayed here.

The Staff was attentive, professional, courteous. It was a really nice treat to have had them hold my luggage until check in time and to especially have had the hotel Staff take my luggage to the room before I arrived to check in. I also used the laundry amenities and it was nice to not have to worry about buying laundry soap. The room was a typical Japanese room, comfortable, clean and close to the metro system, area attractions and restaurants. It was a lovely hotel.

It would have been nice to have been able to open the window to get some air circulating in the room. Thank you.

Beautiful room with a spacious bathroom (dry bathroom and wet area separate), convenient lounge area that can be used in the afternoon/evening, very courteous reception staff and quiet location, close to Karasuma station. Water provided daily in the room together with coffee sachets. On rainy days, we were able to borrow umbrellas from the reception which we really appreciated. Full housekeeping service on demand worked really well! :)

It'd be amazing if the lounge area were open longer, even without coffee/drinks/refreshments, as it the room didn't have a proper desk where I could comfortably read/ use my laptop.

Hotel Vista Premio Kyoto Nagomi tei was an excellent base for exploring Kyoto. A boutique style hotel, the rooms are well-designed with comfortable beds and good bathroom facilities with separate shower and toilet spaces. The onsite breakfast was great value, with plenty of choice and was a welcome start to the day. There are many places to eat nearby and the neighbourhood has a nice feel with plenty going on but is not noisy. We caught taxis most places because of one of us could not walk too far comfortably, but taxis are reasonable and plentiful and the staff were helpful in calling them for us.

The stations are a bit of a walk away so something to factor in, but it was not a huge issue as above.

I love everything about it! It's centrally located, yet full of local eataries and shops around it. The room was comfortable enough. There are free toiletries you can pick up at the lobby, the bath salt choices are great, and absolutely elevated our bathing experience! High recommend to try. The breakfast was delicious, plenty of choices and all tasted great! The most outstanding thing is the staff - yes, they are friendly and helpful, but it's the first time I felt that a service has gone above and beyond to take care of the guests: one of our shopping bag was mistakenly thrown away during cleaning (it's an innocent mistake), I informed the front desk without expecting anything (nothing valuable in the bag). What I didn't expect is that 2 days later, the staff gave me the exact content that's been thrown away (but new of course), plus breakfast vourchers as an apology for the inconvinience caused. I was plesantly impressed! I would absolutely go back!

On this trip we did Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and this was by far the biggest room. All facilities you'd expect And usual really helpful friendly staff. Bonus is a large communal area on ground floor with big TV, plenty tables, free tea, coffee, water etc and even a couple tables set out for kids with paper, pencils, puzzles. Also has microwave so if travelling on a budget can get food from 7/11, prep here and eat. Great washer/drier room. Very close to shops, restaurants, bars, subway as well. As usual, staff were 10/10.

Cannot fault this place, or staff. If looking for a negative no free beer, which my next hotel in Osaka did provide!
