The location was awesome, the indoor outdoor pool was enjoyed by my family, the kids water slide was a bonus! Great staff and a great breakfast included!

The Edgewater is perfectly situated for easy access to downtown Gatlinburg. We loved that the aquarium was within easy walking distance. The room was comfortable and clean. All staff that we encountered were welcoming and helpful. With the oppressive heat, we were glad for the parking garage, even though spaces were pretty tight.

When reserving on Booking, the description of the room made it sound as if the parking fee of $15 was included in the reservation price. It wasn't. However, as parking fees go, this was affordable and well worth the convenience. Breakfast was ok, but a few more options would have been nice.

We stay at the Edgewater Hotel every time we visit Gatlinburg and love it. Conveniently located within walking distant to all shops, we just park the car and never move it for our entire trip. They offer free breakfast from 7-10am and and you can enjoy the beautiful view while having breakfast by the window. They also have a pool which my daughter loves and and a hot tub. Our check in experience was exceptional as the receptionist was very nice and helpful.

The only 'negative' thing would be the crowds at the elevator during peak seasons; spring break, Thanksgiving, etc. but it's manageable, no big deal.

The location was excellent. A block away from the main drag but far enough we couldn't hear the traffic. Friendly staff very helpful and informative. Clean Lobby, restrooms and room itself. Room was large and comfortable.

Directions to check-in.. Edgewater is right next to River Terrace and when you pull in the signs confused us and we went to River Terrace. Didnt see the sign for Edgewater until our second try. When you come into the location go into the parking deck and the Lobby is on the 3rd level. There is good signage with directions for checkin once in the parking deck.

The beds were comfortable and the facilities were clean. We were within walking distance to everything we wanted to do in Gatlinburg.

Our room overlooked the pool, which we thought was neat at first, but a large group took over the pool area in the evening laughing and shouting until midnight or later (even though a sign clearly stated that the pool closed at 10 pm). We had an early morning hike planned and went to bed a little before 10 to get plenty of rest. We didn't worry too much because we figured someone would come to close down the pool at 10 but that didn't happen.

My room location was right by the ice machine so it was loud even at night. The staff said we can’t park in p1 only vehicles that were larger could park there. We moved our vehicle but noticed other low vehicles parked on p1. When we left there was a high profiled truck parked right next to us and had a hell of a time to get into our vehicle. He/she parked where we were unable to get into our vehicle. We climbed into passenger side just so rude!! The elevators are an issue also. Only 2 for the whole place!

I had not stayed at this hotel since I was a teenager many years ago, and it far exceeded my expectations. They serve a great breakfast in a spacious breakfast area looking over the river. The breakfast crew was friendly and very helpful. The location is good & within walking distance of downtown, yet on the side street, so you can get out if you want to drive somewhere. I love that it's beside the river.The elevators are spacious, if a bit slow. Our room was clean and comfy and spacious. What I really liked was the fact that the maids straightened our room and left enough fresh towels and emptied the trash every day without us asking. We travel a lot, and most hotels now don't offer this unless you request it, and most scrimp on towels. All in all this is a great place to stay. The value is there.

The parking garage is a bit scary if you have a large vehicle. They do have parking areas for taller vehicles but the ceilings are low and some of the parking spots are not easy to get a large vehicle parked in. Saturday was not great on parking but it got much better Sunday through Wednesday with more accessible parking spots than on the weekend. There is plenty of spots on site, just not ideal for really large vehicles.

I love the fact the hotel was just as seen on your website. Walking distantance to alot of food and shopping, the staff was very nice and helpful I always treated me with with respect and kindness,. Espeacially (Sandy) was sweet and very helpful always replied with a smile on her face even the cleaning staff was kind and very helpful :) Breakfast was wonderful; alot to choose from and delicious. Comfortable, clean room and beds.Will stay again :)This is from a women who travels alot and stay's in hotels. They are not just a five star hotel they are a ten star hotel in my book :) And NO I wasn't paid to say this it was my experiance there. Wonerful vacation!!

The temperature in the pool could have been alittle warmer.

My husband and I took a last minute trip to Gatlinburg. We found the accommodations perfect for our little getaway. Our private balcony overlooked the forest and we were constantly on the lookout for bears.(We never saw one but it wasn't for lack of looking) The hot breakfast was fantastic and the staff were constantly refilling food to make sure it was fresh and hot. Our room was clean and cozy. Parking in the parking garage was great because it was raining when we arrived. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

I wish there were rooms with bigger beds. I don't think that our room had true Queen beds. They were more like full size. If we would have brought our child, my husband and I wouldn't have been able to fit in one of the existing beds. I would have loved to been able to have a King suite.

We like the amenities that Edgewater offers. We like there is a pool and hot tub. Even though it was so busy we couldn't get to it much!

I didn't like the fact that you tried to charge us for parking. That is a little excessive! We already pay for the room. Also, we had 2 rooms and 1 vehicle but we were both contacted about paying the parking fee! No! This would make us NOT stay here! Also, you could improve breakfast menu a little bit.
