I am giving this high rating because this hotel offers great prices for an expensive city like Oslo. The location is good, close to the Toyen metro station and walkable to the city center. On top of that you can get free filter coffee and tea at the reception.

Please change your pillows ASAP. They are paper thin. Also, turn on the heating system before guests check in. It was freezing for the first couple of hours. Additionally, add some slippers in ur rooms and advise the cleaning staff to visit more often. Thanks!

Staying at the cheapest hotel in Oslo, I can't complain about anything. It was perfectly clean (I have an eye for detail), the location was quite central (20 min walk to Central Station) and it was in a good condition (not outdated). People complained about it being too hot. Well, during those 2 weeks Norway had real summer, I can imagine it wasn't pleasant. Otherwise, not a problem at all

The staff at the reception didn't do anything (besides a really nice welcoming smile), but anyway, you have to check in on the display next to the reception counter yourself. A little human touch in the not busy period would be nice.

Spatious, cozy, calm and good-looking hotel. The room was big enough, I appreciate sink with two glasses for tap water. Also really smooth chek-in process. You get an access code for main door and then you do all the check-in check-out stuff on kiosk. It gives you access card and then you just throw it back as you leave.

Facilities in the room were aged. Shower head was old and didn’t work perfectly as it should. “Smart TV” was just smart enough to connect it with samsung devices or browse the internet - no netflix or youtube app. Lastly, we had a cooker in our room but there was a sign saying we can’t use it.

The shower was good and bed was very comfortable. Room was clean and the location is quite nice little bit far out from the tourist stuff but that's a good thing because there's a lot of local food places nearby that are nice. It's a 20 minute walk from Oslo sentralstasjon so it's easy to get to but not completely out of the way.

The room was very warm, I'd seen a couple of reviews before booking about people complaining about how warm the rooms were. We came on a fairly warm day but it was so warm it was close to unbearable to sleep. We came beginning of July and it was about 23°C

The price and location is perfect for parkrunners, it's about 10 minutes walk to Toyen and if thats not on you could make it to Ekerbergsletta easily. the centre is not very far away too. I walked rather than the train, that was about 2k right into the centre/train station. Choices for places to eat, the Kampen bistro around the corner was very good. A nice idea that I haven't seen before was that the plug by the bed has a travel adapter interface so you can directly plug in all sorts of plugs without needing your own adapter.

Sadly the breakfast area was closed but there were a few cafes not very far away. The hotel did supply teas and coffee in the morning but there was no sugar at the time I stayed! Milk also wasn't available for teas for us Brits. The narrow single bed made me worried I would fall off and there was no chair, so if you did want to watch TV you would be propped sideways against the wall with just a single normal pillow. Area was very quiet until my final night when the local bin men collected at around 6am with their truck beeping away.

The location of the property is great, I’d say it’s the best thing about this hotel. The atmosphere was decent. It’s a great hotel for it’s price.

The facilities weren’t the best. I booked a couple room but it had 2 beds instead of one which made cuddling with my fiancee unpleasant since it lead to both of us falling in between the beds. We had a great laugh about it so that’s great. The water pressure was weak in the shower and the shower wouldn’t fully close. The bed mattresses were rather dirty but we ignored that since they were covered by the bedsheets anyways

Check in was self service which made check in and check out super easy. The staff were very friendly and able to solve any problems immediately. The beds were comfy, it was a quick walk to the nearest shop, a two minutes walk for the subway station and 5 minutes for the botanical gardens.

The shower was broken, the door came off when touched so we had to put towels down to stop the bathroom from flooding. We ran out of shampoo but they did give us more straight away when asked.

Nice location, to be sure. Transportation literally on the doorstep. You can get anywhere in Oslo proper/downtown with the tube and the bus stops right beside the hotel. Decent size room. Certainly good for one person.

VERY barebones on all amenities. The price was rather massive for what you get. The promised free coffee was *sort of* around, but it wasn't there a couple mornings and wasn't great when it was present. Internet had some bumps here and there, but was generally okay.

The Location was perfect 5min walk from the Metro Station and 5min by Metro to the City central station which is close to the Oslo Opera House. For such location, the price was good. Breakfast was great but had to pay for it. The Hotel and the room were clean.

The Breakfast were a little bit expensive even if it's a buffet, but that's an issue with Norway in general, it's quiet an expensive city. Also we haven't found soap in our room which is a detail but was important for us.

Reviews would suggest that this is a mediocre place, hence we were surprised that everything was very professional here. All staff members at the lobby were very friendly and polite with us. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is clean and the shower has a strong waterflow. We did not hear any noise from outside of our rooms or through the walls. It was quite hot inside the room during our visit, we just left the balcony door open. The breakfast is an extra and there is a discount if you pay in advance for it. The buffet style breakfast has a wide variety of food to choose from and everything they offer is really good quality, really enjoyed it. There is also a bar open 24/7 if you want a beer, prices are good. There are shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Metro station is about 5 minutes walk away, city sights are 2-3 stops away only. Thank you for the staff for making our stay pleasant here, I would definitely return here again. There is a big botanical flower garden / park only 10 minutes away from the hotel, if you stay here, recommended to visit there, very beautiful.
