I recently stayed at this hotel in the Old Quarter, Hanoi, and while my experience was mixed, there were notable positives. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with anything I needed. Their service was truly commendable. The hotel's location is a major advantage, being very close to the city center. Most attractions were within a 10-15 minute walk. However, the Old Quarter is extremely busy, noisy, and chaotic, which made the area feel overwhelming at times.

The hotel itself was comfortable in some ways but didn’t fully meet my expectations. The rooms were quite small, and the building showed its age despite modern furnishings. Noise was a significant issue—sounds from the corridor, guests, and even the outside traffic could be heard clearly in the room, partly due to the unusual door and window design. Additionally, the bed wasn’t as comfortable as I had hoped. For a short stay, the hotel’s proximity to central attractions is convenient. However, given the same price, I would recommend staying slightly outside the center for a more spacious, quieter, and luxurious experience.

Good hotel in Hanoi. Very well located, right in the heart of the Old Quarter and just next to Hoan Kiem Lake. Overall, everything was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Housekeeping was done daily. The area can be a bit noisy due to the lively surroundings, and the room was a bit smaller than I expected, but everything went smoothly overall. I felt safe as a solo female traveler.

The location was great and the room was clean and bright. I really like the balconies. Everything was like on the pictures. And the staff helped us with everything we asked for in a short time. It was a lovely stay.

If you are traveling when it is cold in Hanoi, the air con in the superior room doesn’t heat but just cools. They offered a heater for us and we were lucky enough to get another room in the property so they offered us to switch our room to a deluxe one where we could get warm mode too:)

Stayed in room 601 “Garden View”. Room was nice and bright, large but quite narrow. Bed was very comfortable, and the private terrace was enormous and a lovely place to enjoy a morning coffee or an afternoon beer and watch the street below. Staff were all very friendly. This hotel is quite basic, but very clean and comfortable. Location in the old quarter was great, you can walk to everything you need.

My hot water only worked on the first day - the other days it was luke-warm at best. Not a huge deal in the Hanoi heat, but in winter this would be a bigger problem.

Our room was spacious and clean, exactly like in the photos, with a street-facing balcony (it was a shame it was rainy so we didn't give it much use). The staff is very friendly, especially Ngoc who was like a ray of sunshine every morning and so helpful! The location of the hotel is excellent, with plenty choice of food and shopping right on the doorstep. Most mornings we had breakfast next door, which opens around 6am. Probably one of the best budget choices in Hanoi

The downside of staying in the centre of the Old Quarter is the street noise, which starts very early in the morning and continues until past midnight. Nothing some good earplugs can't fix :)

Basic room but with hot instant showers (good pressure), good air conditioning, working hair dryer and comfortable bed.

Room is quite small and the toilet is pretty much part of the room (my partner didn't like the lack of toilet privacy). They only take card if you're willing to pay 20% more. For just slightly more, we got a very modern studio double the size with fantastic facilities just on the next street, so would only come back here if we don't have that better option next time.

location is excellent. the first room I had was good size, the second was just ok. staff ws fine.

after I entended my stay, the second room I was given didnt have much table space and the bed was weirdly placed. the shape of both rooms is a little weird, they are long and narrow. the bathrooms are also small. you must remember to turn on the the hot water switch in advance and when the room is serviced they sometimes turn it off. the internet is not very good, I was unable to play videos.

Location was perfect and the activities we booked through the hotel were brilliant, we did the ha giang loop. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. We needed to take a shower before our night bus after we checked out and they let us use the showers / towels for free.

The rook was on the top floor and it was always very hot when we first got in (didn't take long for the air con to kick in). The reception area has limited air con and is v humid.

Clean, comfy spot to rest the head for the night. Felt quite modern and stylish and the staff are kind.

I didn't think about the noise when I booked with a street view, it's loud and starts very early, not ideal if you're needing some decent rest. The price felt just a little high, it was nice but not crazy special for what I paid. Also, the shower heater took a while to warm up.

Location, location, location. Room also had everything that you need when you’re out and about for most of the day. Was also surprisingly quiet which was top.

The door lets in too much light, but with a bit of ingenuity hanging a towel over it it does a pretty good job blocking it out. Only other small thing is that there are only 2 power plugs and not in a super great place.
