The room was great - it had a fully equipped kitchenette with everything we might need, including salt and pepper which is not common. A separate bedroom with a comfy bed. Netflix was also available. The property has an awesome location especially for families with kids. It's close to the coastal walkway, a playground, and a kids swimming pool. A very quiet neighbourhood. Countdown is 5 minutes drive, the centre of New Plymouth is ~10 mins drive.

The only thing we didn't particularly like was shower. It's right between a sink and a toilet with only a curtain, not shower cabin. So the whole bathroom becomes wet super quickly. Also it only has rain shower from the top, no shower on a hose whose position you can control. Washing a toddler was quite a challenge.

Walking distance to Fitzroy Beach, a supermarket and several cafes was appreciated. Comfortable and roomy. well-placed power points and sofas from which the TV could be viewed. The bedroom was quiet at night.

It is probably typical of NZ regional motels: the bathroom is relatively small and not particularly6 well appointed. The corner shower with a pull-around plastic curtain resulted in a rather we floor. No toilet bag storage space.

All the amenities we needed were there, the rooms were clean. We were happy with our first stay here 2 years ago, so just happy to be back. Location-wise, it's close to the beach, a dairy/suprette within walking distance and on a quiet street with a nice view of the mountain. Just a nice place to rest after that long drive from Auckland. Will definitely be back.

My only negative was the shower. The shower curtain don't contain the water and it travels through bathroom making tiles slippery. How ever I would happily recommend and re book if other the way again.

We stayed in a spacious one bedroom unit. The single bed in the lounge was actually a king single. The apartment was well equipped and had everything we needed. Efficient. quiet air conditioner. Great car parking. Very quiet at night. Near beach and coastal walkway.

Location was brilliant, so close to beach and walkway. Local corner shop handy Really lovely and genuine hosts. Beds were comfortable and clean. Loved the puffy pillows. The kids enjoyed the pullout bed in the lounge. Easy to use. Very quiet setting with off street parking.

The only thing I could suggest is that the coffee cups in the room could have been a bit bigger.

Great location to the beach and town centre! The room was spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. Easy parking outside your apartment, which is nice when travelling with young children (and therefore lots of stuff to unload!) Main Bed was super comfortable as were the finale beds for our children. All other facilities inside the room were great.

Nothing - it honestly offered everything we needed for our stay

Very friendly staff, super clean, excellent location.

Not much, the only things I could mention is the mirror in the toilet is not facing you, it was on the left wall and salt shaker could be replaced as the cap was rusty, the electric kettle was leaking when full.

Great sized room- good clean facilities. Park straight in front of the unit.

The shower floor was slippery, there was a suction mat which was brilliant and signs to be careful. But a safety handrail in the shower for elderly people would be a great improvement

It had everything we needed for a short stay. And was a great location for us.

The shower. Three females, all with lots of long thick hair and the shower head wasn’t adjustable. Luckily I had disposable shower caps in my toilet bag from a previous trip.
