I had never been to such a lovely hotel! Its primary qualifications are: 1. Location: It's right on the side of the Rialto Bridge. There are many people all the time, creating a good atmosphere all the time. The hotel restaurant was open at 3:00 am when I left to take the Vapporeto towards the airport. 2. Staff: Very helpful and courteous staff. I was greatly helped by Marcos, who explained the options available to go from the hotel to the airport at 3:00 am. 3. Room: The double room was beautiful and spotless. The bathroom was spacious and modern. The room had two windows that I was able to open and look into the neighborhood. 4. Traditional practices: You leave your key at the front desk each time you leave the hotel and ask for it when you are back. Your luggage is brought to your room! 5. Christian's Relaxing Gondola Ride through the canals was wonderful and very informative!

Fantastic location right next to the Rialto Bridge. Very helpful and friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast will find a substantial array of cold and hot items provided by very hard working staff. The hotel is traditional Italian in style, but it suited us down to the ground. The private water taxi to/from the airport will pick people up directly outside the hotel. The hotel is surrounded by shops and places to eat. Personally, I'd avoid the restaurant attached to the hotel frontage for reasons stated elsewhere on TripAdvisor. Nice little bar Nextdoor though.

breakfast was excellent. Both my daughter and I are coeliacs and there were lots of options available, plus the staff provided specific gluten free products. The rooms were clean and accessible shower, which my daughter needed was great.

For people with disabilities, the bathroom could do with some handrails around the toilet and room being very small, we needed to leave my daughter's mobility aid in the bathroom. Access to the hotel has couple of steps, though there is a bell to alert staff who were kind and helpful holding doors for us. It would be great to have accessible toilet downstairs and the door to the breakfast room to be wider, however, staff tried their best to help.

Stayed here before 2 yrs ago. Liked it enough to return. Location is great, step out the door to the Rialto bridge. Transport links via boat to/from airport directly to the hotel & all around the city. Easy walking distance to St. Marks square, about 15 mins. Plenty of shops and restaurants around. Hotel breakfast was excellent, sets you up for the day. Staff always very helpful and friendly.

Our first floor room backed onto a narrow alleyway. The only let down for me was the noise. Firstly the pigeons "cooing" & flapping about from 04.30 am. It was incessant. Then from around 06.00 am there was the sound of people going to work, chatting, singing & whistling, as well as the odd metal cart or trolley used to transport items around the city being pushed through the alleyway. I could cope with that, but the pigeons, I could happily have done without. I would stay again but ask for a different room.

The staff overall were friendly and very helpful when we approached them with questions. Kitchen staff were attentive during breakfast. We had an amazing view of the Rialto Bridge and the Grand Canal from our room. This was especially nice because we were able to see glondolas during the annual race. The rooftop was a bonus.

Unfortunately, the elevator was out of order during our 2 nights there. Thankfully, we were only one flight up. The breakfast display was average, and we were not impressed. The rooftop was lacking furniture and could use a facelift considering it had an amazing view of the canal.

A fabulous hotel in one of the best possible locations in Venice. We paid a little extra for a room with a view of the Rialto bridge and we are very glad we did, as the views were excellent (up and down the Grand Canal). Getting to the hotel was simple using the vaporetto, which stops just outside the hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast were delicious and food was plentiful. Coffee was excellent! Our room was air conditioned, which we were very grateful for as Venice was in the middle of a heatwave. We missed Jezz Bezos wedding (rude to not be invited :)) but reaped the benefits of less tourists on that day as I managed to get a photo of the Rialto bridge, at 8am in the morning, without any human beings on it! Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Location is fantastic. Cheaper hotels are significantly further distance from ferry locations. The geography of Venice (lots of steps and bridges) means ferry, or water taxi to hotel. Public ferry is 18 euro from Train or Airport to Rialto Pier which is directly infront and on the same side of the canal as the hotel. For people travelling with luggage, choosing alternative hotels will likely add several hundred Euro in transportation (For example, water taxi from Train or Airport to the Rialto Pier is 150 euro each way) as walking over bridges with heavy luggage is extremely difficult. The location will also save considerable money as several locations are < 10 minutes walking distance (e.g. San Marco square). The included breakfast was good, Contrary to some other feedback on this hotel, our room was silent, we could not hear any noise from the street.

The beds are extremely firm as are the pillows. It took a day to get used to it, but nevertheless, my neck is still sore. The hotel is also a maze- People with walking difficulties may have some hard times, as some rooms require stairs and considerable walking from the main entrance. This is a consequence of the location and cannot be changed. the Air conditioning in our room was functional, but VERY noisy, it could be heard from outside the room. This may have just been an issue with our room.

Location was very central, staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms very clean.

Firstly it was very noisy due to the central location but not just the hub of the day evening but very noisy in the morning with the delivery boats coming in. Bring ear plugs if in a room on the prime location front. Secondly the room and hotel are a little dated. We can see some work going on to maintain the up keep which was great but our room sold as a junior suite was a little dated, tired and actually quite small compared to those pictures on the website. However we did have a great view as pictured. Lastly the breakfast, it was limited and cold (food that should have been hot) the coffee was great however and the staff couldn’t been more friendly. It wouldn’t stop me staying again but worth knowing what to expect.

Location Location Location... Not to mention the high-quality nature of the hotel. The history of Venezia oozes within the hotel. The reception staff are of utmost professionalism. Very courteous, and great knowledge for details on the guest. There is a rooftop panoramic terrace for viewing the grand canal and rialto bridge. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of offerings. Staff were attentive and welcoming. There is also seating with canal viewing, which was a bonus.

The only issue for me was the cubicle style of the shower stall.very small. There was also no adequate shelving storage for hygiene items in the bathroom.

The staff were excellent, treating us extremely well. Good central location next to the Rialto Vaporetto stop. Our room had one of the best views in Venice!

The shower in the room was quite small. Having such a good view next to the Rialto bridge meant there was occasionally a lot of noise during the night.
