Location was excellent

Road work in front meant getting cab and tours was hassle

Best breakfast of the 6 hotels we stayed in. I would choose this hotel again when I visit Lisbon again. Location is great, room and staff were good, breakfast was outstanding.

Room was pleasant with comfortable bed. Breakfast was basic but timely and reliable with changing sliced fruit every day. (The coffee was terrific.) Excellent location, convenient to Metro (with convenient Ubers always available when needed), and lovely staff. Grocery store nearby that had simple access to elevator to the Castle.

The wifi stopped working for several days without explanation beyond, "it's not working." I could use my phone's hotspot, but I was on a work trip/conference -- can't imagine what I would have done if I didn't have that backup.

1. The Information about bank card has been noted manually in some kind of paper document, not to computer, that I perceive as a risk. 2. The conditioner did work well. 3. Vereeery strange elevator that made a lot of noise during functioning. 4. Strange way of serving the breakfast. You need to fulfill a card a day before the breakfast, where you need to write your preferences. The problem is that you have only one card. I eat meat, but my girlfriend is a vegetarian. We informed about it the receptionist that promised to mention it to the people who will serve the breakfast. Unfortunately, my girlfriend received eggs with the bacon :(

Upon booking, I messaged the property to ask if a early check in would be possible as we arrive in Lisbon really early after a long international flight. They politely came back to us telling us that they can’t promise us a early check in which was understandable. When we checked in to drop our luggage gentleman at the reception (I wish I asked his name) was so kind to us and did everything he could to keep us comfortable while we wait and luckily he could manage to get us an earlier room. The room was really clean and comfortable as well as beautiful. We are so grateful for our stay at this amazing place with kind people!

There’s nothing to dislike

Location, location, location! Couldn't be better. The hotel was exceptionally clean. Staff was friendly. Even though the hotel is in a busy part of town, it was still very quiet inside.

No place to pull up a car in front. Had to carry luggage from the back. The parking lot was several blocks away. We only had breakfast in the hotel one day. The dining room is in the basement with no windows. Rather than a buffet, you have to check off your selections the night before. There are plenty of places for breakfast right outside the hotel. I would recommend eating some place else.

The location was perfect, very central and easy to get everywhere we wanted to go by foot. The staff was very friendly, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast, though only continental, was good and enough.

We did not like that we did not have any daylight coming into our room and that it was not possible to open the windows due to the smell of the kitchen ventilation coming in. Also on the last day there were works just outside our window and it was very loud, fortunately we were already awake and almost ready to check out.

Loved the location. Loved our room. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We were in 402 and our room looked out to the river. Nice big bed. Big bathroom with lots of space to put my toiletries. Shower is big enough for one person. Breakfast was good… fresh fruit, nice selection of cheese and meats. We had the scrambled eggs and bacon each morning. Good start to the day. PRATA Exceeded my expectations. We would absolutely stay here again without a second thought. And definitely will be recommending to our friends and family. Adding we are from the USA.

The location is really great. Close to everything (walking distance to Alfama) great value for money for what you get. Very clean and I felt very safe there. 24 hour reception and the SOFTEST sheets I have ever slept on. Quiet, even though on a main road.

The area is super touristic. To find an authentic tasca to eat means you will need to walk to another neighborhood. But that has nothing really to do with the property, it’s just an observation.
