Staff, location, property were fantastic.

I did not like how the information was presented on Booking.com. The booking mentioned "breakfast included" but the final invoice shows $50 vouchers applied for breakfast charges. If it was made clear at the time of booking that it's actually not a free breakfast but a 50 dollar breakfast voucher, it would not be misleading.

Very nice room. Especially a wonderful bath room with a luxurious feel. Over all the hotel was in great shape and felt very newly renovated. The rooftop bar was a pleasant bonus. The location in central San Antonio is very good. Everything is within walking distance

The rooftop bar is only open late afternoon and evening. Would have been nice to relax up there during the day. Reception is understaffed, so expect some waiting time, if they are off handling other choirs.

Pros -Nonna-on site Italian restaurant-yum -Lobby Bar front and center when you walk in lobby -Friendly staff! -Newly renovated with luxurious bedding and beautiful finishings -walking distance to a plethora of venues Cons -Only stayed one night

Only real con was construction in the area, but it wasn't really an issue

I didn’t like that the hotel charged me more than what Booking showed I would be paying. Almost $200 more! We returned from a concert at the Alamodome asking for one drink at the bar for 4 ladies. The bartenders were still behind the bar and patrons were still drinking and they told us they were closed. Seriously, they couldn’t pour 4 glasses of Chardonnay? Otherwise, hotel is perfect!

There was no breakfast. There were 2 restaurants & Nonna Osteria was delicious. The staff was small but excellent, all very helpful like we were the only people there. Rooftop bar had a beautiful view. The staff was so nice & helpful-they brought chairs to our room. We felt like we were the only people there.

Our room had a balcony that needed a table & chairs & the room had no seating-only the bed. The courtyard was empty. New furniture was on the way.

I love the older classic vibe of the hotel and room but with a modern feel. It was exactly the vibe I wanted for my stay. The double queen room was very spacious. Perfect for my group of 6 hang out and 4 overnight stay. The bed was comfy and seemed bigger than a queen. The room was spacious and the bathroom was beautiful. Shower was great.

I don’t have one complaint!

The location was perfect for walking to and from the Alamodome and Riverwalk. There's quite a bit of construction going on so walking was the only option, really. There is no self parking at this hotel, however. Valet or parking at a nearby lot are your options.

Beautifully restored hotel. Room was large and airy, bed extremely comfortable, beautiful bathroom. Sparkling clean and very quiet. Staff always friendly, prompt, and helpful. Easy approximately 2-3 block walk through a park to conference center and to Riverwalk. Highly recommend, will absolutely stay here again for next visit to San Antonio.

Loved the charm and character of the historic building. Our King suite Room was spacious and well appointed. Bed was comfortable. Location is great! Across street from LaVillita and Riverwalk. Rooftop bar is a bonus!

Street noise kept us up a lot and pillows were big and uncomfortable (no choice in pillows). But I'd still pick it if price works... the location is nice!

Clean, comfortable, and great location. Across the street from La Villita and within walking distance to the convention center, river walk and the Alamo.

No microwave available. There's a lot of construction on the street right now, which made walking down the street a little tricky.
