generally everything was pretty good although the TV interface and services etc were mediocre, modern streaming services are much more convenient that sky now.

Our bedroom/toilet door was not aligned correctly and as such couldn't close. Elements of the fitout were not great - lots of filling and paint touch ups throughout and the tiling around the spa poor and swimming pool was pretty poor. That said I manage commercial fitouts so I tend to notice things that the general public doesn't. Finally, there was a small kitchenette in the room so some level of food prep is to be expected but there was no sharp knife, cutting board or salt and pepper. The above notwithstanding we would definitely stay again and recommend it to our friends

I liked the set up and the room was tidy and clean and had the amenities provided. Especailly the washing machine and dryer in one set up with easy instructions to follow. Also the air conditioning was great too. Accessible and could turn off at any time. The gym and swimming room was open and easy to find as well.

Could have more soap bars in the bathroom and a toilet brush and container. Was surprised there was no tea and coffee satchets and sugar provided though as every hotel I have stayed in provides this. No folder with information about the hotel should be available too. Apart from that nothing else to comment on.

On arrival was keen to get to the room, so didnt have an opportunity to enjoy the artworks. Ill make it a point to do so next time. The room was great, warm on arrival although the heating unit was noisy. Everything very clean and comfortable, love the bathroom products. Location, easy to access the supermarket and dining in local area, nice to be close to water and access to business Used the gym in the morning, super happy with the equipment, didnt relise there was a suana so hope to use that on the next stay, overall 10/10

I like where the hotel is located. It is so central to downtown Wellington with bars, shopping and eateries easily within walking distance. A bonus surprise for us was the Harbourside Farmers market, situated in the Museum carp park directly opposite the hotel, which was set up and operating when we woke on the Sunday morning. The artwork spread about the hotel is also a bonus and a quirky point of difference from other hotels.

I can't think of anything I didn't like. Except maybe the weather. But hey, there's nothing hotel management can do about that.

Really nice feel in the lobby of the hotel with various art works on display. The reception team were friendly and helpful. There is a good lane pool which we used on several occasions which was a bonus. The room was quiet and a good size. The bed was comfortable and the WiFi seemed to work fine. There is a small kitchen in the room which was very valuable on Christmas Day when many restaurants were closed. The hotel and the room seemed to be well serviced and clean. This is a good solid hotel in a great location.

Everything was good for us. The only slight discrepancy was around the parking. There was a $50 fee for valet parking each day which seemed fine. However, we found out that public parking is free on National Holidays which we were not told by the hotel team when we checked in on Christmas Eve. It would have been nice to have been told but I guess they wanted to sell their parking package.

Great location across the road from Te Papa Museum. Wonderful foyer area full of contemporary artworks and with many spots to sit and enjoy it. Great in house dining options. Stylishly decorated with funky furnishings. High end toiletries provided. Good kitchen with stove, dishwasher, and microwave. Washing machine very efficient. Everything we needed for a 3 day stay.

Parking is extra on top of the room fee. Bedside lamps not suitable for reading with. Not enough overhead lighting (hard to pack suitcases at night). Recycling bins for paper, bottles and soft plastics would be great.

Such an interesting hotel and apartments, great art and great location. Very modern, spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. The apartment was well fitted-out and the 6th floor has great views across Wellington harbour. A great area for lots of diverse restaurants, across the road from the Te Papa museum and walking distance to the central city for shopping, the harbour ferry, cable car and much more. Good restaurants abound (really enjoyed the Yacht Club and Fratellis), harbourside and surrounding streets.

Front desk staff seemed overloaded and struggling, Having the front desk and bar combined is maybe not such a good idea. Valet parking is pretty expensive.

Perfect location, spacious room, very clean, beautiful hotel. This felt more like a full size airbnb condo. Front desk staff were all very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend staying here!

The appliances in the room did not work well. The oven did not bake (ended up microwaving a pizza) and the dryer part of the washer/dryer did not dry (in spite of following the instructions on the door). We had a full day after doing laundry so there was time for clothes to air dry. There should be a page of clear instructions on how to use each appliance in the room.

Responsive and kind staff, well equipped room (in addition to full kitchen, there was a washer/DRYER combo), exceptional location just across the street from the Te Papa Museum, excellent food in the attached restaurant, the Gallery Lounge. The hotel decor is fresh, fun and interesting, welcoming and comfortable. A few days before our arrival, one of our group broke her hip and had emergency surgery. She was newly released from the hospital and we wanted to settle her into her room at the hotel upon the arrival of our morning ferry to Wellington. We messaged Museum Apartment Hotel and requested that she be given access to her room early and the staff was unfailingly gracious and kind in their immediate response and they arranged for our entire group to be checked into our rooms several hours early. Their kindness made a difficult situation much better.

Nothing - no negatives.

It's such a beautiful setting as soon as you walk in. The artwork and pieces displayed are both gorgeous, interesting, and unique. The rooms amenities were plentiful - who would have thought a washing machine would be in the room too 🤗 And everything was so clean and just nice to look at and use. We also appreciated the heads up about the road works possibly being in operation from 4 am. While it didn't happen, the courtesy heads up was really considerate.

In our second room - room 107, unfortunately the hot water was luke warm. I let reception know.
