Super check in with a warm smile and informative about our stay. At reception(which was spacious and had some great floral displays)the lady told us that it was their only 2nd day of being open under new ownership. We had our room upgraded which was great,views were stunning overlooking the river and the greenery surrounding. Marbled corridors to the room and in our room,furniture gold and marble also. After checking in we walked on the river walk/woods/beach which was accessed easily.There is also a Spar which was well stocked,about a 10 minute walk from the hotel into Erskine. Would I stay here again,yes of course.

Not alot to put here other than,no air con(though they hope to get that sorted as soon as)which was a must really during the heatwave but was able to slide the window a bit and switch on the fan that was already in the room. The spa wasn't open but I hope in the future it will be.

Hotel has had a complete renovation. I arrived on there 2nd day of opening. Such an unexpected treat to see such beautiful decor. My room was fantastic. Couldn't of wished for better.

Unfortunately the overhead bathtub shower did not have much water pressure, which I informed the staff about. But I was only staying for one night and I said they could leave it till after I checked out.

We didn't have any meals ,it was purely an overnight stay, the location was ideal, staff were lovely, the hotel had only been open 3 days after a refurb,the reception and bar area is stunning. We received a free room upgrade with excellent views.

Clean. & spacious. Staff were welcoming and informative. The price was good.

Window was filthy. If was different to take in the lovely view of the Clyde.

Communication with this place is a joke. I booked the room and information says shower or bath. I have messaged place straight away to please arrange for me the bath tube. No respond. Have tried to call- number on the website takes you to Portugal... We booked room in UK... Contact number given by the Hotel via booking not valid.... I have messaged again about room changing, still no reply. When arrived I asked at the reception if the room change is possible to get the bath tube as no-one replies our messages and the phone number is invalid and she said she knows..., at this point I was informed that the room is with the shower above the bath, fine. I checked in around 3pm and before 10 pm I received message via booking that room change is impossible and and they cannot help this time and of course sorry for all inconvenience. It was very funny to read this from the bath. Bed nice and comfy but couldn't sleep as guests banging the doors all night and talk loudly on the corridors. Never will be back here.

Dusty and hot also location was difficult to find,as we went on public transport . My son was stuck on the 2nd floor for 10 minutes;the lift would not move.When the door eventually opened he couldn’t find the Fire exit ,terrible and when he told the staff all they could say was really.

Very run down feeling to hotel, it has recently received some remedial work but it requires a lot more, strange smell throughout the hotel, no working fan in bathroom, no hot water, the dirtiest windows I have ever come across, looks derelict from the outside.
