This is a beautiful hotel with a lovely lobby and bar, comfortable rooms, and lovely organic products throughout. I really appreciated the shampoo, condition, body lotion, etc.—all much nicer than what I packed. The staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the location, which is a ten minute walk from the main shopping area, as it was quiet and very convenient to be picked up and dropped off, when needed. I booked a single room (single bed) which was small but perfectly fine for me.

It was all lovely.

Staff were professional, very welcoming , friendly, knowledgeable and went out of their way to ensure guests were happy; the breakfast quality and choice was excellent ; the restaurant/ lounge and bar area was relaxing and comfortable with a lovely atmosphere ; the bedrooms and bathrooms were well designed, cleaned to a high standard and comfortable; the location was excellent , with a wonderful view out at the front of the mountain and sea , close enough to the centre and main sightseeing attractions but peaceful and quiet; the small evening dining menu was also a great option especially on our arrival day and when we had an evening excursion booked.

Nothing !

We loved the decor, staff, breakfast, location and overall vibe. Amazing crispy bacon, delicious bread and always quickly replenished. Easily the nicest crockery I’ve ever seen in any hotel! They were brilliant at getting us taxis which was how we got about town. All comfy mostly Teslas and on time and polite and respectful. Our bigger room had a nice balcony. We also had a single room which was snug but i appreciate the option of a cheeped single room which is rare in hotels and perfect for our older teen. It was just over the corridor from the bigger room which was well planned since the hotel was full.

The spare small bed was very narrow and uncomfortable even for a skinny 12 year old boy. The evening dinner food menu was very limited and they didn’t offer room service - though they did offer to phone when the food was ready. Awful wine choice - mini bottles of pino Grigio like being on a budget airline!

The breakfast was fantastic with so many selections, perfect scrambled eggs and crisp bacon, bread selections, fresh fruit that was sweet and juicy, so many extra touches and I cannot say enough about the staff in keeping every dish filled and hot. I did threaten to smuggle the man who cooked those perfect scrambled eggs and bacon home with me. The huge spread was kept immaculately clean and refreshed. The room was also wonderful. It was quiet, comfortable, cozy, shower was great and the bathroom had lots of special touches. The lobby was so inviting with lots of places to sit with a drink or coffee but my favorite thing about this hotel was the front desk staff. They could not have been more helpful with questions and making me late night cappucinos. Raffa (I hope the spelling is right) was ever so knowledgeable and helpful when I needed to find more comfortable shoes and another suitcase, he directed me to the perfect place for both. He made great cappucinos, no matter what time I came downstairs to go out for a smoke and asked for one. I'm a night owl and it was always nice to see a friendly face, willing to answer questions and offer suggestions. He's a gem! Breakfast isn't included in the room price and it is a bit expensive but definitely worth it, both for convenience and for the quality of it. We had planned on eating breakfast at other places but it was so good here we just stayed there and left for our day's activities from there. We never had problems finding parking either, which was lovely. The staff kept our rooms well stocked with fresh towels and it was nice coming back to an immaculate room every night. Location was great for us, minutes from everything, tours pick up and drop off at the hotel, also very convenient, check in and check out was a breeze. I cannot recommend this place enough - simply the best! I wouldn't stay anywhere else if/when we return.

There wasn't a single thing I didn't like.

Location was great. I was able to spot the northern lights from my room and then walk down to the harbor to get a better look. Breakfast was tasty and nourishing. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. All of this for a great price!

Nothing. It was awesome.

Very nice products in the bathroom including bodylotion, everything smells good. Cozy room with lots of warm lights. Good breakfast, some nice organic products (the rye bread with herring is very good!). Perfect pillows. Free coffee/tea/water at all times in the breakfast area. Free parking right in front of the hotel. Fitness room. Quiet at night. 10-15min walk to the city center.

While it's nice to not be in the middle of Reykjavik it also means you have to walk 5-10min on icy, slippery roads to get there in december (or take your car of course). No seperate heater in the bathroom.

I only stayed one night, but this hotel really surprised me in the best way. First of all, the location: although it’s in a mostly residential area that’s not particularly charming at first glance, it’s actually just a few minutes’ walk from the city center — very convenient. From the outside, the building isn’t eye-catching, but once inside, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with lots of wood and cozy colors. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — which is not always a given — and I loved the little touches like complimentary coffee and water available throughout the day. The common areas are beautifully designed, and although the rooms aren’t very big, they’re thoughtfully furnished, comfortable, and highly functional. All in all, I found it to be a great place to stay. If I come back to Reykjavik, I’d definitely stay here again.

Rooms could be bigger but thanks to the fornitures that isn't an issue at all. You can't completely open the windows of the room but this is an issue I've experienced everywhere in Iceland

- Staff is amazing and helpful. Made my short trip better beyond expectations - Location! Close to old town, but still outside, so quite and convenient for airport/tour coach pickups. Close to waterfront and some grocery shops. One of the Reykjavik Roasters cafes is in 2-3 minutes walk - Food in the hotel restaurant - Toiletries were really good - Sea/City view. Unexpected bonus: I could observe aurora just from my bed - Room in general

- It would be nice to have a fridge in the room - Low water pressure in the shower

Room was stylish, clean and comfortable. We could see the ocean and mountains out in the distance from the window. They provide tea and coffee all day in the lounge which was nice to warm up and the hotel also has strong wifi for remote work. Location is walking distance to everything downtown, but it is not downtown so expect at least a 15-30 minute walk to get to restaurants, shops and attractions. Easy and free parking at the hotel. Helpful and friendly staff.

We had a great stay here, but if I’m nitpicking the gym is small and did have some equipment not working. It had a rower and weights available to use so still enough to get a little workout in, but don’t expect a big gym.

I liked the vibe and style of this hotel quite a bit and the online photos led me to reserve it. I love the main entry room where you can sit and work and have free coffee 24/7. Good internet. I did find it was a bit of a walk to the places we wanted to go and it's not a highly scenic location at all. But on the upside it is close to Kitchen Reykjavik which is not to be missed. It does have an armoir, a good sized armoire, which is feeling like a luxury these days.

Just that it was a bit of a walk to the main town.
