The house is new with great facilities. Breakfast was simple but nice and we used the main house kitchen and BBQ to cook dinner which was great opportunity to enjoy from relaxing time in the valley. The house is in a beautiful location 5 minutes drive to maseo frio- nice and cozy village and 20 minutes from the main village in the region. The owner was super nice and helpful

Absolutely stunning views and a great location for a shorter Douro Valley since it’s closer to Porto. We staying in the bungalow- you have to chose this if it’s available! It provided amazing views and privacy. The staff are very friendly and helpful with local recommendations.

Very nice place to stay and relax, quiet area, good breakfast, clean rooms, great view of the river and surrounding hills, the pool was very useful. You will definitely need a car to stay here. I wouldn't mind coming back again when I have the chance.

The breakfast was delicious and provided a lot of variety. The location was out of the way, very quiet, and provided a terrific view of the vineyards, hillsides, and river. The staff assisting with checkin and cooking were very friendly and helpful. We would certainly go back.

The beds were a little firm for our preference. It would also be nice to have a little more furniture (like side tables or card tables) by the covered area near the pool.

Amazing views, accommodating host, excellent value for money. We had the suite for 3 people, the bungalow had an even better view, although you get river valley and vineyard view everywhere. Can strongly recommend for a visit to the beautiful Douro Valley!

This is a gem with gorgeous views. The host recommended two great restaurants and a beautiful winery and we enjoyed them all. Our suite was very quiet and comfortable.

The pool is fabulous but the loungers are uncomfortable without cushions.

Immaculately clean room, with all that you would need, including a large bathroom and air conditioning at this time of the year, a very nice breakfast. Stunning view of the Douro Valley and the stars at night. Cannot compliment the staff enough, the owner was extremly responsive and helpful, we were quite needy and he helped us every way he could.

Location and views were great! Breathtaking views from the room and breakfast room! Breakfast was very good. Comfy bed and warm room. Large sized bathroom. Excellent for families or couples. In the summer would be great as well to enjoy the pool.

The only point I can mention is that there was no hair dryer.

Best view on the Douro river. Room is nice and new, well decorated. Clean and welcoming pool, well maintained. Fully equipped kitchen with free coffee, and lots of appliances. Great breakfast. Nice and welcoming staff. Joao Helped carrying the laggage 😉

The AC seems to smell bad. Could not use it.

Good breakfast, very clean rooms and wonderful views.

It was a bit far away from the towns and wineries but still wonderful. There wasn’t really anybody on site but the management was very accessible, helpful and accommodating to all of our questions and needs!
