We loved our stay at The Rooftop Suites. Luís was a fantastic host who was so friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was very clean with an absolutely gorgeous view and a nice balcony to sit out on. Coffee making facilities were provided and there was even the choice to have a free breakfast from the bakery downstairs. We had the chance to visit Luís’ vineyard for wine tasting which was fantastic - we wish we weren’t backpacking so we could have purchased more bottles! Every restaurant recommendation we were given was spot on so we had some incredible meals. All in all we were made to feel very at home here and absolutely loved our stay. Thank you Luís!!!

Air con a little outdated, but not sure anything could have cooled down the 38-degree weather!

Lovely host, very welcoming and helpful. Older suite but comfortable. A bit of a walk to Regau, busier area than Godim. Godim train terminal is very close but a different schedule.

Issues with the plumbing - toilet and sink tap but owner is aware and trying to fix it m

Fridge too small, no microwave.

We stayed in very nice and comfortable rooms with beautiful decor. Among the best places we stayed in our travels throughout Portugal.

View from room of river and hills. Large comfy bed. Excellent breakfast at pastelaria on ground floor. Short walk from centre of town.

Great hospitality, you will get any help you need :) Luis took us to his winery, which was the best one from all wineries we had visited! We loved the balcony with the great view - for morning coffee or evening wine picnic :)

Short distance from Regua. Clean, modern, large comfy bed. Plenty of space and a great view to wake up to in the morning. Wonderful host that makes sure you have a great stay in Regua and the Douro valley! Peaceful and close to the smaller train station of Godim. The way to Regua is relatively flat compared to the otherwise steep hills - so visits to restaurants etc. don’t necessarily require a taxi ride.

We had an amazing stay!! Luis is a very good host with great recommendations and super friendly! Breakfast in the bakery was very nice. The wine tasting in their family winery is definitely worth the visit!

The staff was highly helpfull and nice.

Breakfast in a little pastry in the building, too many "or" in the options they gave us. The location is nice, but the house its a little old. Ridiculously high prices for extra services, such as extra beds.
