Very clean and comfortable rooms, the shared bathrooms were exceptionally clean and constantly cared for by staff. I never had to wait for the bathroom. The front desk staff helped us so much with directions, public transit, and tips for visiting the city. He helped us make our own sound of music walking tour and provided a map. Would definitely recommend for your stay. The bus stop is right across the road and takes you into the main town area, or you can also walk, about 15-20 minutes. Easy walk from the train station as well, 10 minutes or so.

We really liked the check in process for after hours. The instructions were very clear and straightforward. It really helped us lessen the stress late night arrival. Mohammed was really helpful with our stay. He was attentive and friendly. This place is also 10-15 mins walk to the Salzburg hbf.

The prices might be a little too high. We spent $100/night. Not sure if this average for staying in Salzburg

Staff very helpful. Everything well considered for the comfort, safety and convenience of guests. Even with shared toilet/bath option- there's a sink inside the bedroom for washing hands, brushing teeth, filling water bottle, etc. Security measures are good and easy (tap room card). Coffee machine with good coffee and hot water. Clean, bright, well appointed, great value for money. Easy bus #21 across the street (5-minute walk) to reach city centre. Grocery store also nearby. Will stay again if I get to return to beautiful Salzburg.

Very minor thing- room aircon system is centralised, need to open window every now and then (e.g. on arrival each day) for fresh air.

Staying at Pension Elisabeth was a truly wonderful experience. The room had a lovely ambiance—it was located in the basement with direct access to a charming little garden, which made it feel very cozy and peaceful. The hospitality was outstanding, and everything was exceptionally clean and comfortable. A special thanks to Mr. Frank at the reception—he was incredibly kind and helpful, offering detailed advice on local attractions and how to get around. His tips really enhanced our trip. Highly recommended!

One small suggestion: the heater panel in the bathroom could be a concern, especially for families with young children. It gets quite hot, and if you're not careful, it’s easy to touch it accidentally while using the toilet. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Everything was perfect and convenient. Bus stop is right outside, supermarket is also just 2-3 minutes walk. You can walk here from Salzburg central station as well very easily. You can get to all major stuff in Salzburg and old town within 20 minutes or even less by the bus we get just outside the property. Room/washrooms are really clean and very well maintained. Staff is really supportive and co-operative. Mohmaadd and Christoph were best hosts possible at the desk ready to help always.

Bed sheets were worn out but nothing major, all seems perfect. They provide a very small fan, but on request they gave one more fan.

Great location an easy walk from the main train station, even with luggage. The local bus stops across the road but we didn't use it because we walked everywhere. We appreciated the locality to the train station though as it acts as an interchange for buses going outside Salzburg and it has a supermarket plus several cafes and fast food outlets. There's a great pizza place across the road and a wonderful restaurant just a few minutes walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful and communication prior to check in was excellent. The beds were very comfortable and it was great having kitchen facilities. The rooms were a good size and we had plenty of space for 4 of us. Excellent value for money and I would stay here again.

You just have to watch your head on the sloping roof!

The staff responded promptly when I texted various questions (prior to arrival). Upon arrival at reception, staff were helpful too. I was surprised to receive a chat message from the staff on the 3rd morning of our stay, checking whether everything is ok and suggesting to change our towels.

One has to climb into the bath tub, stand in it to have a shower. It is rather high for Asian size. The bath tub is slippery, with one grip handle on one side of the wall and a flimsy screen on the other side that could not support any weight.

the room is larger than my expection, clean and comfortable bed, it is very closer to bus stop No.21, 22 and 120, easily for taking public transport. The grocery store is also quite near. The shared toilet and bathroom are very clean too. I like the coffee machine that provide coffee with very reasonable price and mini-refrigerator in room. I loved to have the "Guest Mobility Ticket" that this hotel helped the guest to obtain for Salzburg authorities during my staying over in Salzburg. I will stay here again in the future when I revisite Salzburg, Austria.

This hotel is a great spot for a Salzburg visit, not far from the main train station and right next to a bus stop and bus 21, 10 minutes to the main part of town. The beds were comfortable, we had four people in a two-room suite with a bath. Clean and had daily housekeeping. There's a patio table and chairs right outside the door in a garden courtyard. Unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to use it. Coffee and tea avaiable in the main building, and we had an electric tea kettle in the room.

Outside stairs going down to the room need better lighting; have a flashlight with you.

We stayed in a two-room apartment which was much larger than we expected for the price. It had absolutely everything we needed for cooking and even more (like a whole jar of ground coffee). The staff was very friendly and made sure we feel welcomed and comfortable. It was also very convenient that we could buy bus tickets at the reception, since I found the Salzburg Verkehr app quite difficult to use. It really feels like the staff and the owners care for the guests' comfort.

There is really nothing to complain about. The hotel is not in the city center, the city center is about 30 minutes by foot, so keep that in mind. We had no issues using a bus.
