The hotel is right behind the cathedral in the center and a very quick walk to many restaurants. The check-in instructions were accurate and a late check-in was not a problem. The staff texted me real time on the day before which was very useful because I was traveling the entire previous day. The rooms are clean and we received exactly what we wanted. The staff allowed us to leave our bags during the day. However, there was no baggage room so we couldn't leave anything of value. The rooms were air conditioned. Some rooms looked out to the main street but with windows closed, it was quiet.

Some of the furniture was a bit dated. Perhaps the hotel could provide safe storage for guests.

Varna is my soul city. I would go back tomorrow and I would choose to stay at the Divesta Hotel again.I can’t wait to tell you about this stay. The hotel bears the imprint of our Heavenly Father. You feel peace, intimacy, and joy when you enter it. It is very close to the beautiful Cathedral, which in my opinion makes it even more valuable and more desirable.I wished for a room with a view of the cathedral ... and they made me this great joy for which I thank you very much. I can’t wait to come back again.

IT WAS NOTHING

Very nice hotel, very clean, large well furnished room, bright bathroom with a bath, nice terrace with a view of the cathedral, ,great location, Plamen on reception was very helpful

WiFi in the room was slow. I could hear the neighbours in the next room but fortunately they slept before me so did not keep me awake. The reception only works until 5pm and I wondered what guests would do if they had a problem with noisy neighbours during the night as it is not so easy to go to the reception and ask for another room if the reception is closed. My guess is that the owner chose not to pay for night staff in order to maximise his profits. Otherwise this hotel would be 10/10. I had to put the air conditioning on a little during the night to cool the room as the road outside is noisy with traffic and the cathedral bells so I had to close the windows. The air conditioning wasn't the best but was sufficient.

The staff was very kind and helpful. Amazing hospitality! Thank you! We enjoyed our stay a lot and would visit the same place again, especially because of the nice way we've been treated. The location is also great, next to coffee shops area and a walking distance from the sea. The room was spacious.

I would love to see the rooftop work as the view must be stunning.

The Hotel Divesta is well managed, comfortable, and calm. The staff is attentive yet discreet. Right outside the door, there are several cafés and restaurants with easy access to the fabulous pedestrian shopping walkway. If I visit Varna again, I will stay here.

Self checking did not work for me. I did not receive the instructions about the codes via e-mail. When I was sending e-mails, I did not get responses. My Bulgarian SIM card has ended, so It was difficult to contact the office and enter the hotel. Plus even when I got into the hotel, the the reception door was locked. I personally decided that I would not reserve hotel with self-checking.

Perfect Stay – Exceeded Expectations! From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay was flawless. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, the room was spotless with modern amenities, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Truly a perfect stay – we’ll definitely be returning!

Nothing,everything was great.

Big room, it was not warm inside and we didn't use AC. There are some trees in front of the balcony which kept shadow. Is not on the beach but it is a walking distance to the sea (aprox 20 minutes). There is also the possibility to take the bus (12-15 minutes).

Nothing bothered me.

Located near the city center and with friendly personnel, the rooms are clean and has a cozy atmosphere. Plenty of places to eat and drink around - should check Google maps to see for yourself.

Be sure to confirm the parking place if you're traveling with a car and you are not native.

The hotel is conveniently located about 10 min. walking from the main pedestrian area. A very pleasant receptionist came to meet us , despite being a national holiday and out of the normal business hours of the reception desk. She also gave us helpful tips about parking in the area. The room was spacious and despite facing the street was not noisy at all. The bed was comfortable , the pillows too.
