Excellent location in the heart of the city. Big rooms. Good view. The GREAT FEALING of OLD SOCIALST HOTELS that were made for People and not for robots!!! (that includes a big loby on each floor in front of the 2 elevators, wooden walls in public areas etc. I can recognize those things from far!!!) We chosed NOT RENOVATED ROOMS and still were OK. Breakfast was very good and the lady very polite and helpfull.

Parking is always a HUGE problem in SOFIA CENTER. We parked in a privet parking about 350m from the Hotel. SUGGESTION: If You go to SOFIA make a list of parkings close to your hotel before. There are plenty of them but you have to be prepared

The location is great. The rooms are renovated and comfy.

The main cons is the staff. They could be more friendly. Welcome you when you walk into the hotel and say Goodbye when you're leaving. Ignoring the guests is not a professional at all and ruins the stay at the hotel.

Second time in this hotel, but last time, I was in the non renovated part. This time, I was in the brand new part (fully renovated) and it was perfect! The location is just the best one, nearby to any top place in Sofia, restaurants, pedestrian street Vitoshka, bars, clubs... The View from 6th floor is just amazing, one of the best View in Sofia (Mountain View). Also the Staff is amazing, even for early check-in! If the room is available, they let you in! Really appreciated!

The only issue is that the Wifi didn't work in the room! I had to use Data during my entire stay and the minibar also was not working at all (hot inside). It's a little bit overpriced for Sofia but the location of the hotel perfect (in the heart of Sofia City Center, 2 minutes walking distance from Vitosha).

Comfortable rooms, some with a spectacular view of Vitosha Mountain. The location was excellent; everything is within walking distance. The 24-hour reception is very convenient for late arrivals. Another advantage is the baggage room, which allows you to walk around after checking out. Staff were highly knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous.

The hotel is in a great location: within the city center, great restos and shops around, and the monuments are walking distance from the hotel. The room: I booked one of the renovated rooms, and i must say, I love it. It is modern, chic, and well decorated. Highlight was I had a great view of the National Assembly (+other monuments) and the Bulgarian mountains. It is cleaned daily and they do a good job. The room is complete with everything you need, and they are of high quality. There were thunderstorms during one day when I visited the city, good thing the TV was equipped with the Netflix app, so staycation all day ☺️ Lastly, the staff are friendly and accommodating. Always smiling and ready to help 💕

The WiFi was fast but sometimes get lost in some parts of the room (my room was at the 8th floor), but it’s still good!

We arrived very late for check-in, but the receptionist was very helpful and kind. She also assisted us with breakfast arrangements, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was nice, with a good variety of options available.

Unfortunately, there is a nightclub right next to the hotel, and during the early morning hours, there was a loud fight that could be heard from the room. Of course, this wasn’t the hotel’s fault, as it seemed to be a major incident. However, maybe the soundproofing could be improved a little, as we noticed that the balcony door didn’t close completely—it might be related to that.

The hotel have been completely renewed, the rooms look modern and are well furnished. I have been already to Rila Hotel 2 years ago and the improvement is incredible. The structure is located in a very central and you can reach all the main attractions by simply walking. Moreover, you can also find nearby the Serdika Metro station and several bus and tram stops. Hence, the area is well serviced. The personnel was professional and kind. They speak English.

The shower had a leak, hence the bathroom was getting flooded in a matter of minutes. I needed to dry the floor using towels.

The water pressure in the bathroom is too low. Need attention, because is something to do with the shower head. It work better without it.

The location is unbeatable. We were in a renovated penthouse apartment. It looks really nice. Great view on Sofia and Vitosha. The beds are very comfortable. The apartment is spacious for a family of 4. The two sleeping rooms offer enough privacy.

One thing to note is that there is a night club in the basement of the hotel. As such on saturday night it gets loud. The other days were fine. Another smaller thing is the renovation itself. It certainly looks nice and modern. However the quality of the renovation is not enough. It will deteriorate fast. The wallpaper is starting to peel off and things are starting to break. It’s a pity because everything else is good. Breakfast seemed expensive in relation to the price of the room.

The renivated rooms look great and are equipped with everything necessary, but the hotel also offers non-renovated rooms, so be careful which one you book. The air con works well. The shower pressure is good. The location is great, walking distance to all the main attractions. The view for the mountains is amazing.

The breakfast was not good. The lady that was taking care of the breakfast is absolutely lovely and does a great job, but the quality of food is not that great. Would definitely book again, but without breakfast, better go to one of the nearby bakeries.
