I've stayed at this hotel too many times to count now and it is consistently top tier. The lobby is so big and inviting and the staff always greet you with a smile, which makes you feel welcome right away. The rooms are spacious and so clean with some of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. I've even inquired about what mattresses and pillows they use because it's just that good, haha! We love being able to go down to the bar to relax at the end of our days and I love that many of the bartending staff are the same since they basically opened. The location is ideal right in the heart of downtown KC and there are many great things to do all around. Even with as big as the hotel is, it is very quiet and we get a good night's rest. We can't wait for our next visit!

The one thing that I will say we sometimes have issues with is parking. They do have an attached garage but it's got quite a bit of 'Compact' and 'Valet' spots that can make it hard to find open parking for vehicles that are neither of those things.

The view from our room was incredible and the maids did a great job at tidying our room every day, not that we left it in a really bad state but the sheets were clean, towels were changed and rubbish removed. The view from our room was incredible and the location was perfect for us to go and walk the city. We loved the front desk staff, as they were very helpful with directions and suggestions of where to eat or visit while being in the city, seems as this was our first time in KC and that we were from the UK.

The morning of the game, there was some tension and shouting between two staff members over breakfast one morning down in the cafeteria and that really didn't help make the guests feel very calm. It was all over the fact that one staff member seated people in a place that they wanted to be seated and the member of management didn't like this saying "you're really pissing me off today", the rest of the time though everyone else was extremely professional, courteous and helpful.

We really like the amenities like the Terrace, the security of the hotel was excellent; you must use your key to access the hotel floors in the elevator. The bed was extremely comfortable! Upon entry to the hotel every staff person gave exceptional service from the Valet, to the concierge, to the front desk staff.

I was quite disappointed in the size of the room. I was very dissatisfied with the elevators closing the doors on me. And I am astonished that the hotel charges guests 15.00 a night to use a microwave. The irony, after spending hundreds of dollars visiting the hotel you would think they would be gracious to provide you with a microwave as an amenity.

The hotel is gorgeous and very modern and elegant. Everything in the room was clean. The bed is extremely comfortable and the room was very nice. I love that they give you complementary water and that there’s a refrigerator in the room. The staff are amazing and have top-notch customer service. Whenever I needed something they were right there immediately making sure I had what I needed, which was appreciated. I always enjoy my stay at these hotels in the cities that I’ve stayed at them thus far. I always can expect excellence. I actually left my credit card in the hotel room and when I called back, they informed me that housekeeping had found it and they gave it back to me promptly. In today’s world, I don’t expect people to do things like that so that was an added bonus.

I wish the towels would’ve been bigger. It felt like I was using a handkerchief on my body and there just wasn’t enough towel. lol. There was a lot of rain and lightning and storming so the satellite went out which messed up TV but the great thing is they do allow you to cast from your phone so I was able to do that so I could still watch movies from the streaming networks that I have on my phone. A lot of hotels do not allow casting so thiswas a surprise. Other than that, there’s really nothing else to complain about. It’s an excellent hotel.

This property exceeded my expectations. I know Loews properties are good, but this one is exceptional. Staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. We were in town for the NWSL finals and were always greeted with kindness. The room is spacious, the bathroom is large with a great shower. The bed is incredibly comfortable.

The restaurant hours could be a bit longer than 11pm, especially on weekends. We managed to sit right before 11pm and order, but it wasn't the best meal.

I liked that the property was clean , a restaurant option, and close to my event . In addition, when we arrived all the staff i encountered, were very helpful , kind and respectful.

The one nights stays with taxes and “additional “ daily charge for parking garage and or self parking garage, is a little pricey, $300 something 😳 all together . Also, our family was given a handicapped room and we are not handicapped so I didn’t understand that , I booked two months n advance and held room with a card , not sure why I wasn’t given a reg room .

Sort of a surprise in downtown Kansas City. The location was excellent and the views from our rooms (we actually got a 2nd room during our stay) were stunning. We had a top floor room, which was only slightly more expensive than a similar room or a lower floor. Having stayed at other luxury properties in the US, this one really measured up to some of the more recognizable brand apps. Actually, looking forward to another opportunity to stay here.

This is sort of nitpicky, but I had a sort of unusual experience with housekeeping. They knocked on my door one morning (around 0900) and when I asked them to come back around 11, I was greeted with some blank stairs, and no real response. About five minutes later, the housekeeper came back with her supervisor, and I again confirmed that I would prefer to have the room cleaned at 11. This was after a call from housekeeping where I again confirmed that I would like for them to come at 11! 11 o’clock came in no housekeeping, so I eventually called them around noon and ask him to come then and clean. They did what I ask, but it was certainly odd, and I suspect that it is because the housekeeping crew is not communicating well, with their supervisors or clients.

The location was very walkable. Hotel is next to the Performing Arts Center. Staff from valet, reception, restaurant staff and housekeeping are all exceptional They are very professional,friendly, helpful and knowledgeable … very welcoming. The rooms are designed very nicely, clean and comfortable. The hotel offers a pool, work out room, beautiful terrace as well as lots of options to choose from for meals. Also communication with the staff is very open and easy…. You can call or text whatever your needs are. We definitely will stay here again when we visit Kansas City lots of things to do or see

I have no complaints

The check in was easy and they were kind and helpful. The lobby is beautiful, the location is fantastic for going to the convention center and power & light district. The bar menu and drinks were excellent.

We were given a handicapped accessible room. The room was very dark, the closet was very tiny and due to the large bathroom door (understand it is necessary) it was very awkward to use the mirror.

This is a modern property in the Crossroads Arts District of Kansas City. No problems at check-in then made our way to the room it was a standard double and was well appointed, modern with a large comfy bed, flat screen TV and coffee facilities. Large bathroom with good quality toiletries and a travel size bottle of Loews branded hand sanitiser. The Stilwell restaurant in the hotel serves a varied menu and the food quality was very good, our server was really friendly, professional and helpful answering all our questions about the food. There is a very large well stocked bar next to the restaurant and was very busy with a great vibe. Check-out was at 11am, we didn't include breakfast in the room rate but there's a coffee shop in the lobby area which sold very good croissants and coffee. Valet parking was at a reasonable rate and the car was delivered quickly to the lobby entrance. The hotel is located in the middle of the Crossroad Arts District and the surrounding area is a great place to wander around, there are art installations all over the place and you are only a few minutes walk to some good night clubs, restaurants and bars.
