The property is beautiful and relaxing. We had one of the outside rooms overlooking the pool. It was a great location. It was extremely hot whilst we were there but the air con kept the room cool for us. We loved the pool and enjoyed relaxing by it and swimming. Breakfast was lovely. Delicious pear juice. The bed was comfortable and we had a lovely double shower with plenty of pressure. For us the location was ideal. Near the station and just a short walk down to eat each evening. It was a steep walk back but only a short one. We were there for a wedding in Lamega and the reception was held at Quinta Da Pacheco, both very easy to travel to/from via local taxi. Lots to do and see in the area and it’s easy to walk into the main part of town.

A mini fridge in the room would be an improvement so we could keep some bottles of water cool.

This place is an amazing find. A small hike up from the station , you need to expect a hill if you want a view. The small hike is well worth it. The owners need to be congratulated on an immaculately presented and maintained 1.5 acre manicured gardens and pool. The interiors are just as immaculate. A grand house of days in the past. The breakfast is 5 star 🌟 Treat yourself to stay here. Off street safe parking on site too. This is the highlight of all our 6 different accommodations in portugal 🇵🇹 over the last 5 weeks. Thankyou to the management for your incredible efforts 👌💚💜

Only one thing.... we wish there was a mini fridge in the room to store some of our refreshments and milk and medicines . The bed /mattress was a little old and creaky

The property is beautiful and ideally located with amazing views across the valley. It "traditional styled" property but with modern finishings. Room was very spacious, huge bed with a very large on-suite.The welcoming port and cake was a very nice touch. It is a quick walk to the old train station where there are very nice resturants with a wine valley theme that served some lovely local dishes served in a modern way and again stunning views of vineyards and bridges etc. Breakfast was well done and covered for most tastes. Will definitely be recommending to friends and will return as the valley is one of the most stunning places we have every visited.

The property overall is beautiful. You can tell that the owners are proud of their accommodations based on how charming each space is decorated. Very homey. Our 3-person room was spacious with comfortable clean beds. I appreciated the large wardrobe that accommodated our suitcases. The bathroom was huge with good water pressure in the shower. We had a roomy balcony with very comfortable furniture. Great space to hang out. The breakfast was tasty and served in a charming room. Love that our car was parked on property behind a secured gate so we didn't have to worry about leaving personal items inside. Check in was quick and friendly. Wifi worked perfect.

I'm struggling to find any faults. It would have been nice to have an elevator but the person (owner?) who checked us in carried my mom's suitcase up for her ... so the lack of elevator is not really an issue.

We loved our room overlooking the Douro valley. The property is gorgeous , very quiet, very safe surrounded by walls and a gate. The rooms are very comfortable and an excellent breakfast is included. There is a lovely pool but it was too cool to swim but it has a large and very beautiful yard with various places to sit, and orange trees Overlooking the olive orchard. Just a wonderful place.

There was nothing at the property. We had some trouble finding a restaurant that was open in the town.

Beautiful property with lots of original features. Well maintained and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we received a lovely welcome with cake and water in our room. The pool and hot tub were lovely, and we enjoyed using them every day. The honesty fridge by the pool was great as it was a hilly walk to the shop.

The 10 minute walk back to the hotel as it was very steep. We wanted to stay in on the last night as we had been out all day on a wine tour, it was really hot and we didn't fancy the hilly walk down to town and up again. Unfortunately, there was no takeaway possible, so we had to do without food. It would be a good idea for the guest house to offer something like a cheese and meat board for anyone not wanting to go out to eat.

This is a lovely, family-owned and run Quinta, which I can truly recommend! We were kindly welcomed, there is plenty of space to relax (living room, porch with a view of the river, by the pool), and you feel like you’re in an oasis of calm! We also thought the breakfast was lovely - fresh and generous, including eggs cooked to order. I don’t necessarily recommend walking from town with rolling baggage as the hill is quite steep, but once you’ve dropped off your bags, it’s a nice walk down to restaurants and the train station. If you need a car to go elsewhere, such as to wine tastings, they are happy to call a reputable taxi for you!

wonderful welcome from the family owners, gorgeous room in an idylic spot overlooking beautiful pool and gardens. A steep but short walk down into Regua and very convenient private parking within the property with great security for the m/c we travel on. It feels like a family home full of treasure and comforts, and just a great stay and good value. Breakfast good and the whole vibe is very relaxed. Such lovely people who looked after us so well. Just a great place to base yourself to explore the Douro River valley

I liked that it was a guest house rather than hotel, with family running it. Very friendly. Well positioned to explore the Douro valley.

Breakfast was very scanty. If you didn’t get there early enough, there wasn’t much left and it wasn’t replenished. My son asked for three eggs and was refused and told that there was a limit of two eggs per person. Really? How much is an egg? The worst breakfast we had in Portugal. The room was also quite tiny.

Very comfortable room, a lovely garden and excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. A delightful stay.

The entrance to the property is a little tricky - the automatic gate is immediately adjacent to a main road, so, on first arriving, one has to get out of one's vehicle to ring the house bell. Once checked in guests are given a remote control to operate the gate, but it remains a little awkward, with one's vehicle protruding onto the road whilst waiting for the gate to open.
