The view, the space, the fridge and everything about the room. We are returning in 10 nights and would love to stay in the same room if available

The hop on and off bus wasted nearly a whole day of our time in Vancouver. Cheaper and more efficient et to use a taxi. A complete rip off ( but hotel may not know this)

The hotel is located among a great selection of retail stores like Muji and Asian restaurants for a bowl of ramen or sushi. Our room was spotlessly clean. The Abode served an excellent breakfast. Staff was very helpful.

Shower is built with two doors, and the one closest to the shower controls and sprayer doesn't open. You can't reach in to turn on the water; you must step inside. Unless you carefully turn the shower head to the wall before turning on the water, you will freeze or burn yourself. Bad design. We also wish there were a lounge to sit and read or use a computer.

The room was great and comfortable. I could adjust heat and lighting as I wanted, and it was large and didn't feel cramped. I liked the option of a safe and how easy it was to use. All staff members I encountered were pleasant and friendly. I liked the decor overall. Location was great - lots of great restaurants and shops withing walking distance, and having the Capillano bridge bus stop have pick up and drop off at the hotel was great. I appreciated the handrails in the shower and the optional bath mat, as well as the hand-held shower option.

I wish there had been drawers in the room instead of just shelves. Not a big quibble, but a bit annoying.

My room was lovely, large and comfortable. Hotel location was very good. View very nice. Value for money difficult to assess. I didn't choose to pay such a high price, and thus had no particular expectations. But that was what was available. I was happy with the accommodation and hotel but it was much more expensive than I would normally expect to pay. This may be Canada, per se, it may have something to do with the marathon, which I had not realised was taking place during my stay.

I didn't like the fact that 200 CAD was added to my credit card - to be refunded after my stay. I am used to a credit card number being taken by hotels in case of incidentals, meals etc. but here the amount was actually charged upfront. This causes even more expense on top of the already expensive accommodation costs as, with an international credit card, extra fees are incurred for these transactions. This policy could well mean I do not stay at this hotel again. Also, I was aware the hotel only had a breakfast cafe, and there are plenty of places to dine nearby. But I would have expected at least a bar in the hotel. When travelling alone, it is nice to have a hotel bar to use rather than go out.

The hotel is in a perfect location for all aspects of a visit to Vancouver. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a lovely big bed and plenty of light. The service at reception was extremely friendly and helpful, especially Melissa. We really enjoyed the breakfast at Adobe restaurant. We particularly liked having a seating area with comfy couch and chair - so much better than sitting on the bed. We liked it so much we’re returning next week for another stay!

The room could perhaps do with some TLC. The bathroom was small but we managed very well. The balcony seems a little superfluous as it’s very small and not somewhere to sit out. The worst thing was the air conditioner, which was very old and extremely noisy!

The room I booked was the King suite with the bay view. It was very roomy and comfortable with a great view. I was concerned initially because my room/door was right in front of the elevator, but it was perfectly quiet so no worries. The room was very clean and spacious. The gym was small but adequate. The pool and hot tub were also nice. The restaurant was perfect for breakfasts and I loved the location of the hotel on a popular commercial street, not too far from the art museum. Lots of restaurants and shopping right there so no need to drive around or try to get a bus. The road was being worked on, so traffic was limited to one direction, so GPS was out of sorts a bit, but otherwise it was actually nice because even though the roadwork looked messy, there were hardly any cars parked or going down the street. Overall, I enjoyed staying at this hotel a lot. It was perfect for my needs.

The parking garage is a little tight fitting into some of the spots. And on the top level you need to be careful because it is not well lit at night. I wound up getting into a little fender-bender with someone who was coming up the ramp behind me as I was turning around, because there is a bit of a blind spot. So take it slow.

We were traveling with 2 other couples. We all booked with in the same two to three days with the similar price quoted. We were in 1708 our friends 2505 and 1007. Each of their rooms were beautifully done. Several chairs so we could visit each other. Our room, however, have only one chair. There was a desk with a chair so I guess I could say two could sit but the others had to sit on the floor. I did contact guest services, and they brought another chair and ottoman. At least my husband and I could both sit and watch TV. But compared to the two other rooms, we were disappointed. Also please check the bathroom door, it wouldn't stay opened. If I was at the sink brushing my teeth, or washing my face or my husband was at the sink it kept closing and hitting us in the back. Very annoying.

Location was incredible! Clean, comfortable and quiet.

I wish parking was more secure (nothing happened to our vehicle but there were warning signs everywhere about high theft). The parkcade was not gated and was open to anyone, not just hotel guests.

The hotel staff were absolutely incredible and we only had 2 requests called down to the lobby, which were answered so quickly (extra blanket and luggage cart)! Elevators were quick and had the cutest decor! The food at the restaurant inside the hotel was delicious! We had breakfast there most mornings, with the same amazing waitress, and she was incredibly accommodating to our large group. She had so much patience answering our questions and was very kind. The view from our balcony was great and the room was extremely comfy. Tons of room to move around, large sized TV and we loved the mini fridge! We would absolutely stay here again.
