Cabin on water, lovely staff

Wish I was told about the excavator & bobcat digging right at the back of our cabin all day. I booked this for my husband’s early 50th & to get him away as he works for the council for 19 years 7 days a week, he is at breaking point. He couldn’t even rest the first few days as the noise was just a joke, the semi trailer tail gate noise we thought someone was running into our cabin. Not a peaceful water view experience at all. We left a day early.

The location was fantastic, embedded in between two shores with a private access to the beach which has wonderful views. The facilities were top notch, that included a camp kitchen with all necessary utencils. The cleanliness was great too.

A bit pricey and one can argue on the value for money. The cabins still felt a bit outdated, with manual keys as access to your cabin. The size of the rooms was a bit tight.

Perfect little cabin! Just a few metres from the beach - which was exactly what I needed. The cabin was scrupulously clean and had everything I needed.

Maybe add a coffee table in front of the lounge. I like putting my feet up when I’m watching tv. But I was overall very happy with what was there.

we enjoyed our stay net time we might stay in one of the cabins looking over the water .

THE CABIN WAS CLOSE TO EVERTHING THE STAFE WERE VERY HELP FULL

Nice budget cabin, had linen, towels & toiletries. Good stock of crockery & cutlery. Hair drier. Outdoor furniture. Large fridge & dishwasher. Very clean & well maintained. All dishwasher stuff supplied, detergent, sponge, 2 teatowels.

No oven, although there was one available in the camp kitchen. No clock in the cabin.

Not sure whether it was because of mobile towers but our wifi connection was slow, not a problem on the weekends but when trying to get onto emails for work on the weekdays, it was very slow

Rain shower head, mirrors on backs of doors need to come up higher

The location was amazing and the staff were amazing.

More blankets in main bedroom would be great during winter

very well-kept facility, clean and friendly staff, good access to the beachs, one great for walk and another for rest and comfortable for families with children. Was my first time in this place and very satisfied. Thank you 😊

We were on a road trip to the snow and sadly arrived late both times to appreciate our surroundings. We appreciate the phone calls months ago as we had booked two nights one week apart that would have looked like a booking mistake on our behalf so thank you all for making sure we had booked both dates.

The cabins we were staying in are super close to the beach access. They’re spacious and had everything we needed. The park is in a great location, a short walk to both beaches on either side and the boathouse restaurant up the road which was amazing. Very central and close to Nelson bay centre and shoal bay.
