Amazing location. Lenard is one of the best receptionists I've ever had. Terrace is wonderful, as is the staff, and the breakfast is amazing especially for ten euros. Easy walk to the marina, old town, and shopping district, but just far enough to be quiet at night. They were super communicative with me from the moment I booked, to the second I checked in, always responding to messages within minutes. Room was clean and cozy. Lots of interesting bonus services of you need em. Will absolutely return to our new home base in Faro.

I usually like giving some recommendations for improvement, but there is literally nothing I csn think of. Just awesome.

The terrace where the breakfast was served was outstanding. The staff was also very nice and helpful. The room was also tidy, they cleaned every day and also the towels were changed daily. There is a lift, so if you have heavy suitcases, it is also convenient to pick them up to the room . The hotel is very close to the city center and there are lot of good place to eat.

However it is not the issue of the hotel, but if sby is sensible for the noises, the hotel it is close to the airport, so after some days you will know by heart the timetable of the flights.

The location is great! The place itself is a little bit loud in a way that you can hear everything that’s happening on the hallway or the room next door. There is a rooftop where the breakfast is served but we didn’t try it since we had to leave very early. We noticed weird smell upstairs but luckily our room on the 1st floor didn’t have this issue. It’s a great place to stay for a night or two - there is no fridge in the room but you can make a tea or coffee, and the room itself is designed for sleeping only as there is no space to „hang out”. But that’s what we actually needed so I can only recommend :) there is also a big free parking space very close to this place.

The room was spacious and lovely, with a big bathroom featuring large windows and a strong shower. Breakfast on the rooftop was amazing! The staff were friendly, helpful, and communicated perfectly throughout my stay. Plus, the location was super convenient, just a short walk to the town centre and marina, and right next to a large free car park

One minor note about the bathroom is that you cannot dispose of toilet paper in the toilet but you'd rather use the bin, which is not too convenient. However, apart from this tiny detail, my stay was wonderful

This is a real gem with a great location beside the small old town area, an easy 10 mins walk from the bus station. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, the decor is simple but charming. The shared bathrooms are nicely finished and very clean. Breakfast was freshly prepared and served to us at our table on the lovely roof terrace- scrambled eggs, toast, ham, cheese, tomato and cake with fresh juice and tea or coffee- it eas delicious. We'd definitely recommend Sunlight House.

We were only staying one night so didn't mind having no TV in our room. We didn't find the bed very comfortable.

Lovely staff! Helpful, kind, professional and friendly. Delightful breakfast on the roof deck. My room was charming and very clean. Worked well for this solo visit. Peaceful, quiet neighborhood. Very close to the old city, easy to explore and enjoy the history and culture, cafe's and restaurants of Old City, easy walk to shops and other neighborhoods. Great value. I loved Faro and hope to return.

Another time, I might stay closer to the shopping district, tho Sunlight House was surely in a quieter neighborhood.

We’ve had a wonderful experience staying at Sunlight House, all staff are nice and friendly. As we’ve arrived in Faro few hours prior to check in time,Telmo let us checked in early and park the car in front of the house whilst unloading our luggage, he was super helpful, understanding and welcoming. The property is on a nice street, very close to the old town, our room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The area upstairs where you take your breakfast which is generous and delicious is so nice and comfortable . It’s a nice spot to chill. We’ve had a very pleasant stay, thanks 🙏

Parking is hard to find, due to some festival they’ve closed the nearby public car park. So, we’ve had to find free parking somewhere else.

Sunlight bed and breakfast was great value for the money and a wonderful little hotel. Our room was on the first floor near the reception area. It had a double bed and private bath that opened onto a tiny "courtyard". The Courtyard was a small outdoor space about 2 feet X 6 feet with a table and chairs. We did not really use it but the glass door was also the window for the room. The door is also heavily soundproofed so despite being on the ground floor, it was very silent for sleeping. The room was plenty big enough for our three large suitcases which we were able to tuck into the closet. The ensuite bath was tiny, but functional and pretty. The shower would be a bit tight for larger people. Breakfast is served on the rooftop patio with views overlooking the town and marsh area in the distance. Staff were wonderful in advising on restaurants for the evening meal and with leaving our luggage after checkout. Location is very close to old walled city portion of Faro and a large municipal parking lot so great convenience if you drive. We took an uber from airport to hotel and from hotel to bus station and it was all very easy.

Nothing, it was all good!

We loved the room design and the convenience to the restaurants and shops. The area felt very safe and there was plenty to do. We were only there for one night for a flight the next morning, and we had to leave before breakfast started so we weren't able to take advantage of it.

The bathroom was so small, and although it was very well arranged, the sink was very difficult to use because of its size. The faucet sticks out to block part of what is already a very small sink. Our heads had to be pushed against the wall to spit toothpaste into the sink while brushing teeth.

Great central location, ground floor room, comfortable and very clean, very friendly and helpful staff member at the reception desk. The price for 4 nights based on 2 people sharing was rather good value. The beds were comfortable. It was a quiet street, no outside disturbing noises.

Our room was a little dark, the window was on the smaller side and did not let much light in. But since we were only in there for sleeping at night it was not that much of a problem.
