The staff was super sweet and kind, always very helpful and nice to talk to The space is well cleaned everyday The room regarding space, mattress, temperature, cabinets The breakfast was good and plentiful The terrace is just amazing for both having meals and relaxing There is a lot of space overall and both the terrace and the dinning/living room to hang out in The location is very good as you can take a short, nice stroll to the marina (15min), is close to the ferries for the different islands/water excursions, has a supermarket (Continente) next door, has a direct bus to the airport on the same street As other comments mention there is noise from the peacocks living next to the Pousada but personally they bring kind of a nice nature vibe to the place. At this time of year they were quiet past sunset and earplugs would be enough to keep the noise down

Nothing regarding the Pousada itself or the staff but other people staying there so this comment is more for future users: - people banging doors without any care for hours/other people's rest - people using the small kitchen to cook for hours and taking up most space in the fridge with their food

Friendly and helpful team. Peace and quiet in the evening and at night. Waking up in the morning with the singing of peacocks was special. 🙂🦚 In the same building complex there is a nice cafe with very friendly prices (delicious daily steak 6€!, coffee 0.80€, baked goods, etc.), you can dine on the patio terrace while admiring the peacocks. The accommodation included a completely adequate breakfast and also the opportunity to eat on the shared balcony. Next to the hotel there was a lovely park where peacocks lived. The location is great - the port, train and bus station, old town and attractions are within a reasonable distance. Thank you! 🙏🌷 We will come again!

The cleanliness of the shared kitchen was not ok, but that was probably due to the negligence of the users... We only used it once, to peel oranges.

Literally everything. I got what I paid for. The beds were comfy, and the showers were decent. The breakfast was good. I loved the kitchen. It was small but it had everything that you needed to cook a meal. (It had an air-fryer. I was really surprised by that) Also the people working there were really nice. I had some problems with emails (long story), and some of them really got out of their way to help me. If whoever has this place reads the review, the person who was working there on the day that i arrived should really get a raise (I didn't really get her name)

In the room, there were only (if I'm not mistaken) 3 sockets where I could charge my phone (3 sockets for 6 beds). That was my only small issue.

As its a Hostel I was surprised it was such good value. Although you cant check in until after 6pm we were able to just after 5pm which was great. As the car parking outside is being changed it is free currently so it was 30 feet from the door. You can go further down the road if required. Pedro checked us in and couldnt have been more delightful or helpful. We had the only twin private room with private shower. It was functional and dated but clean and a decent size. The shower was hot and shower curtain looked pristine.There was a cupboard to hang clothes. Beds were clean and comfy and room was warm. It is under the staircase so when people arrive it is a little echoey but once everyone settled for the night it was quiet and I slept well. As we had to leave at 4.30am for our flight they gave us a takeaway breakfast of a cheese and ham roll, apple, chocolate milk which was very nice.

Towels a little small and rough but at this price Im not worried.

The room was a good size for 3 bunk beds, the bathroom had a lot of showers so it was never too busy, the staff was extremely friendly and they all spoke English. Breakfast was great! Good location just a short walk to the ferry, also a cute little park with peacocks in it just on the doorstep of the Pousada

The kitchen is very small so only one person can use it at the time, not enough sockets in the room. Not a big deal but maybe a clear sign outside of the entrance would be helpful, as it took me 2 laps around the building to find it ;)

the staff was really nice and the breakfast very complete. Perfect for the price. It is located 15 minutes from the center, but near a train station and next to a supermarket. Perfect for not hearing the crowded city center but really near everything

the rooms where a little bit too hot. We went at the beginning of august and they only hay a small fan and two small windows. Air conditioning would have been perfect for a room of 6 people.

The location is perfect, next to a very nice park, and the staff is lovely and really helpful. The common areas are big and clean, and the breakfast is varied and tasty, although I missed some scrambled eggs :)

The kitchen is very small and there is only one fridge, which is almost full (at least the days I was staying there). And the rooms are fine, but the "wardrobes" can't be locked, so you have to use a locker from the corridor, which is quite small.

- the people working there were so friendly!!! - the breakfast includes: yogurt, fresh fruit!!, bread, cheese/meat, cucumber/tomatoes, cereal - the bathroom was alright (curtains in front of the shower - little privacy but that wasn’t a bother) - there is a living room and a terrace - you can walk anywhere in max 10 minutes (Marina, old town..)

- the kitchen was very small and I didn’t want tk cook in there as it didn’t seem to be very clean

The hostel is well situated, just next to a parc. The room was clean and a fan was available with the heat. Some lockers are available but not directly in the room. The breakfast was great and the terrace was good to enjoy the breakfast with the sun.

If you need to leave really early, you might not be able to get the breakfast as it begins at 8:30 (I don't know if it's always like that)

The nicest lady on the reception, very helpful with everything and great to talk to. The room had its own AC unit, which you can control. Great and pretty big breakfast included (vegetarian and lactose intolerance versions too) and if you need to checkout early, they will pack it for you as a takeaway. For this price it's definitely the greatest accommodation in Faro.

The facility is a bit older, but everything you need works perfectly.
