Literally everything. I got what I paid for. The beds were comfy, and the showers were decent. The breakfast was good. I loved the kitchen. It was small but it had everything that you needed to cook a meal. (It had an air-fryer. I was really surprised by that) Also the people working there were really nice. I had some problems with emails (long story), and some of them really got out of their way to help me. If whoever has this place reads the review, the person who was working there on the day that i arrived should really get a raise (I didn't really get her name)

In the room, there were only (if I'm not mistaken) 3 sockets where I could charge my phone (3 sockets for 6 beds). That was my only small issue.

As its a Hostel I was surprised it was such good value. Although you cant check in until after 6pm we were able to just after 5pm which was great. As the car parking outside is being changed it is free currently so it was 30 feet from the door. You can go further down the road if required. Pedro checked us in and couldnt have been more delightful or helpful. We had the only twin private room with private shower. It was functional and dated but clean and a decent size. The shower was hot and shower curtain looked pristine.There was a cupboard to hang clothes. Beds were clean and comfy and room was warm. It is under the staircase so when people arrive it is a little echoey but once everyone settled for the night it was quiet and I slept well. As we had to leave at 4.30am for our flight they gave us a takeaway breakfast of a cheese and ham roll, apple, chocolate milk which was very nice.

Towels a little small and rough but at this price Im not worried.

the staff was really nice and the breakfast very complete. Perfect for the price. It is located 15 minutes from the center, but near a train station and next to a supermarket. Perfect for not hearing the crowded city center but really near everything

the rooms where a little bit too hot. We went at the beginning of august and they only hay a small fan and two small windows. Air conditioning would have been perfect for a room of 6 people.

Breakfast was basic but had a good variety. Got a good selection for the price and could eat until I was full. Room was clean and had towels and fresh sheets. Shared bathrooms were only a little distance from the rooms. Enough space and privacy to do what you need to do and come out. Happy overall.

My only criticism would be the showers were not clean. As in the gunk/black stuff around the shower edges that could really be cleaned with some bleach. Still happy as I've paid more and got less in many other hotels. Just a point for future improvements, Otherwise no complaints.

The staff were very kind! I could use a locker for my luggage after checking out (until late-afternoon). Common spaces included both an inside room and outside terrace. The bathroom was clean and had multiple toilets and showers (with a dry space within the curtain to place your things and dress up). The toilet had a surprisingly nice view. The breakfast was better than expected, and you didn’t even have to wash up yourself!

There were no lockers within the room and there were only two sockets for six people.

1. Housekeeping and breakfast lady was amazing nice and friendly - it felt as she was your auntie that you were visiting always up for chat and spoke very good English. 2. Location - walking distance to the center, flix bus stop, big supermarket, nice park etc. 3. Facilities - many people complain about outdated things and yes some things are old but they are still well maintained and it is all its charm about it - it feels like one of those summer camps when you were young in 2000s 4. Breakfast - it is actually better than in some of the hostels that I stayed in. 5. Rooms have desks so you can actually work from your room! 6. Professional cleaning and breakfast staff - no abusive behaviors with “volunteers”.

The only outdated thing that might bother some people are beds they are worsen so they are sturdy but at the same time some of them are very noisy.

It's very close to old Faro Town. Next to the hotel you have a nice park and a big supermarket. Not far away from the bus station and Marine. I like that there's a small kitchen where you can cook or warm up your own food especially if you have fussy eater kids. The breakfast was good if you are happy to have a continental breakfast. It's a locker room to leave your bags if you need but you need to pay a €5.00 deposit for a padlock.

I would like to request to change the shower. It was very hard to get the right temperature of the water. Also in the kitchen it would be nice to have a kettle where you can boil the water.

I liked the opened area in the middle where we had breakfast. The room was ok. The sower rooms had plenty of space to put out belongings. Breakfast was very good. Bed was comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly

The toilets were not very cleaned, specially the shower room area. There are no lights on each bed and no sockets to charge phones for the top beds and some down beds either. The location is about 20min walking to the train station. Kitchen was extremely small.

I am glad I found this place, it's a great value for the money. The location is great, from there you can walk to the city center. It is also close to bus stops. The staff is very friendly. There is a nice park with peacocks in it, next to the hostel. There is a nice balcony where you can sit outside and enjoy and with lines where you can put your clothes to dry. They have a 24 hours front desk which is convenient if you need to check in late. There is also a grocery store next to the hostel. You have access to a fridge, a cooktop (hob) and all kitchen appliances, you can prepare you own meals. The other guest were also very pleasant company. I had a pleasant stay at the Pousada de Juventude. The breakfast is good with many options including fruit, vegetables, cereal, cheese, bread juice, milk, soy milk if you don't take regular milk, etc... Communication with the hostel was very smooth before I arrived.

Amazing service: 24-hour check-in which facilitated my stay. In addition, on the first day, I had to leave earlier than they provided breakfast for an activity, I conveyed this to them during check-in and the next morning I had a food package before I had to leave. In addition, the possibility to store luggage for free and free towels (even though not mentioned in the listing) is appreciable.

The ventilation in the room. There was a small window and only one standing fan for 4 people in the room, this basically made me (who had the upper bed) sweat profusely throughout the night. The addition of another fan/ceiling fan would make this place a 10/10.
