Very good value for money. The staff (wasn’t able to get his name) was very accommodating. They have everything you need- washing machine, kitchen, shared lounge. It’s also good to see house rules posted everywhere. Guests are mostly disciplined because of the rules. Rooms are unexpectedly very comfortable. After 10pm, everyone’s quiet. Doors tend to open and shut loudly if you’re not very mindful. Beds are a bit creeky sometimes. The bathroom needs to be cleaned every now and then because a lot of guests a re using it.

clean, no towels to dry your hands in the toilet except the first day. locked in a shared room until 8am so you have to get up to eat breakfast before 8am for example if you have a booked trip that starts then. otherwise you get a lot for your money here. can get dinner for only 7 euros. if they want to improve I would offer breakfast and open rooms to sit at a table at 7am

This was a nice place, with cosy rooms with anything you need in a hostel. The whole building in general is very well decorated, well-kept, clean and pleasant. Two terraces as well make it even more lush and pretty. Very nice and friendly staff!

I don't understand why the lights in the hallways and corridors were on during the night. It kept making some extra light on the rooms during sleep that didn't make sense to me. Apart from that, not the hostel's fault (obviously), the typical guests that don't follow any rules or care for any person's well-being...

I thought the breakfast was plenty for the price I paid. I loved the choice of being able to sit inside or on the roof terrace. The breakfast bun was a good size, it was crispy outside with a soft filling. Delicious.

Everything was very good at the Lemon Hostel. The taxi from the airport dropped me at "The Lemon Tree".. about 4 streets away. It was a young couple who helped me, contact The Lemon Hostel and the lady member of staff came to meet me.

+ breakfast (they even have a vegan option!) + Curtains, light and outlets at every bed + Two nice outside areas + Good wifi (also good for work!) + Thick blankets + Quiet neighborhood and relatively close to everything

- depending on which room you get you might need earplugs cause you can hear the front door buzzing and people talking at the reception/common area - i couldn't use the locker because it was wrongly drilled and impossible to use

i loved my stay in lemon hostel! The staff is amazing and super friendly - always available if you need anything or if you have questions. The hostel is very modern with a nice vibe and a beautiful rooftop terrace. 10 min walking to the centre with a lot restaurants and bars. The included breakfast was amazing - i loved that hey had a vegan option! totally recommend this hostel for everyone and i will come back any time i am in faro. Thank you! ❤️

I really appreciated the well-equipped kitchens and the terrace outside. I also liked the modern bathrooms. The bunk beds were well designed with a curtain for privacy. The receptionists /house assistants were very helpful and sociable.

If the hostel approaches its maximum capacity (like in high season), I suspect the 3 bathrooms will not be enough, or people will have to wait to use them. I did not have a big issue because the place was not full, but had to use the 3rd floor bathroom on a couple of occasions.

Excellent hostel, surprised by the negative reviews on here as I thought it was good value and the breakfast was ample. I agree that the space is quite tight but that adds to the charm of the place. The toilets were clean, easy to get to by bus from airport. I want to shout out to Luisa, Mafalda, Sophie, Natalia, Rachelle and Luiza for making the place so hospitable that I stayed for 3 nights!

Nice and clean hostel. the rooms is clean. Stuff is nice, breakfast is simple and good. I like the Portuguese design with blue and white stones. Roof is really chill area

I don't know the air conditioner is work or no , but really warm this is only problem in summer time.

I’m 68 and not good with directions so without the locator app to follow on booking I would have found it hard to find and even after two trips out I still found it hard to find my way back there. When I first arrived there was no obvious indication it was a hostel and it needs a sign outside but maybe they are not allowed one?
