The view was amazing - the sunrise was breathtaking. We loved that the rooms opened out on to a lawn. There was plenty of space in the room - I was able to work at the dining table while hubby watched rugby in the lounge area. Pleasantly surprised at the number and placement of power outlets throughout each room.

There was very little to not like - very minor stuff really. The air pump swing arm was rather clunky and there appeared to be no compendium to explain things like the underfloor heating, SkyTV (although we have Sky at home so it wasn't an issue for us), restaurant guides and the like.

Fabulous location, pleasant room. Very helpful staff, especially Annette at reception. I had a nice stay.

The living room and bedroom are not as luxe as they appear in the photos but are fine. This was the most expensive accommodation of my trip and the beds in all the other places were like clouds but this one was borderline uncomfortable. I had hip pain every night because of the bed but at least it wasn’t hard. Mattress toppers might help if they are not going to replace the beds.

Great location across the road from the beach and a short couple of block walk from the main dining & shopping area

Car park was very average. Had to park the car in a location that was on the exit area and was a tight fit for vehicles to pass through especially when others do not park properly. Being a rental car, any bumps or scratches would have cost me a fortune ..On the last night the number of cars and the tight fit left our rental very vulnerable, so I moved it to the road which (surprisingly) was actually safer

Our stay was 4 nights - Quinn the Manager obliged with a request for earlier check in - which was greatly appreciated. Our ground floor unit was lovely with a very comfy queen bed large bathroom good size kitchen and lounge that opened out onto the patio/lawn and an amazing view!! The housekeeping was next level - and very welcome on return from a day sightseeing. Up market hotel standard.

The carparking space for our unit was limited by a brick wall but we worked around that so not really an issue

Waking up to the sunrise and watching the sun set. The first floor waterfront apartment was a real treat. Easy 5 min walk to cafes, restaurants, and the main jetty. A full kitchenette and a large bathroom, both new and clean. Best value for money. (Laundry required $2 coins.)

The queen mattress was a little soft and possibly touch old as it didn’t feel too supportive but that was absolutely my only complaint

Great place to stay!! the view is magical and could hear the water lapping from our room, the location is perfect with a short stroll to a great selection of eateries and the waterfront, the room was very comfy with all that you need for your stay and a bonus having a separate bedroom. Very lovely owner that we meet on arrival who assisted us...Will definitely stay there again :)

No complaints at all

the room was very clean, roomy, and comfortable. the view out over the water was amazing, especially at sunset. The kitchen area was small, but had everything we needed, and lets face it, in pihia who eats in the room! bed was surprisingly comfy and again givesyou a stunning view. Our hosts were very nice, helpfull and very accommodating. all in all its a real winner.

The location was an easy walk to restaurants and the wharf. The view from our room was lovely. It was very clean, comfortable and had most things you’d need. Towels were fluffy and the heated towel rack a bonus. Comfy bed.

I’m a fresh air freak and I couldn’t have a window open at night as there were only sliding doors.

Great location. Clean rooms. Hosts were nice and welcoming, plus accommodating. Love the view! Would stay here again.

The beds are a bit uncomfortable. Lots of traffic as it sits right off the main road. Laundry facilities could use an upgrade.

Really enjoyed our short stay and wished we could have stayed longer. What we really liked was - the location, it was only a short walk to all the local amenities. - the apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and well equipped - very accommodating and friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend
