The location is right in the heart of Vieux Port, with two different public parking garages just a 2-5 minute walk away (costing 20-35 EUR per night). The rooms are very clean, beautifully designed, and offer a magnificent view of the old port if you book with ocean view (see photo). The bathroom is exceptionally designed and impeccably clean with nice products of l’Occitane. The bed is comfortable, and the staff is friendly. We would definitely book it again.

We chose to book without breakfast because the hotel only has an indoors restaurant (no terrace), and there were so many beautiful breakfast spots within walking distance that we wanted to explore.

Loved everything about this stay: the hotel, the room, the staff, the location, and the breakfast! I would definitely come back again!

Nothing to be mentioned

I chose the hotel to celebrate my husband's birthday, and what an experience that was! The best choice I could have made. The staff was incredibly responsive and supportive with my questions even before we arrived. I asked if it would be possible to order a cake to celebrate his day and they not only helped me to find the best option for his taste but also a great value one, from one of the nicest patisseries in the city, which he loved. We were upgraded to a very nice room and the view to the Vieux Port was fantastic, and the team was so very kind to get our room ready before the usual check-in time as my husband wasn't feeling well when we got there and needed to rest. The staff is so fantastic that knowing we would celebrate his birthday in the morning, they helped us find a table with a nice view from the port to enjoy breakfast the best way possible. That, by the way, is also incredibly good, delicious options for every taste. This was by far one if the not the best hotel we ever stayed on. Totally worth it!

There's literally nothing I could complain about here, the hotel is fantastic!

The position, the staff, the breakfast.

It is fading in places a little (main stair carpet, some furniture, using mattress toppers, passing valve in the shower/tub control but none of this detracts from what a great experience I had. It was super welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast staff were so diligent as well. I’d definitely stay again.

This splendid hotel is in an excellent location, providing a view of the ever-changing happenings of the harbour. It has an excellent breakfast room. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are clean. The staff members are professional, responsive and friendly. Luggage storage is available, if that is required.

The perfect location by the harbour. The 7th floor suite had an amazing terrace with a stunning view. Even the view from the bed was incredible. It was very spacious and well equipped. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

It was being renovated and one of the lifts was usually out of order, and the stairs were also out of bounds due to the renovations.

I asked for and got a very quiet room on the inside of the hotel. No view, and a little gloomy, but my sleep was not disturbed by church bells, traffic or noise from the port. Lovely view of the port from the bar and breakfast room on the first floor. And the breakfast was delicious. Friendly and helpful staff.

No parking. although it seems that no hotels in the centre of Marseille have parking facilities. I eventually found the hotel, but it was not possible to stop anywhere near the hotel (the entrance is actually in a pedestrian street blocked off by bollards). It's best to locate a public car park nearby (the Hotel de Ville, for instance) and drive straight there before going to the hotel.

Staff was courteous and prompt, even with our very late (near-midnight) arrival, with tips for sights to see and places to eat the next day. Rooms are nicely appointed, and the L'Occitane bath products are a nice Provençal touch. The hotel is in a prime location by the old port, with plenty of cafes, boulangeries, patisseries, shops, and sights in easy walking distance.

Our rooms was not huge, and a/c was lacking in power. Be aware your taxi or uber will have to stop a block away from the hotel because the street has restricted access, though hotel staff are able to open access for taxis picking you up.

Attention to detail on furniture. I like the period of furniture. Some of the furniture was broken and instead of books for a wallpaper, proper books. Stain on Carpet. Keep the period but solid furniture to give it that class. Breakfast Tea should be avaliable with fresh milk and maybe some biscuits. the products in the bathroom were lovely, however was difficult to pump out the shower gel

location of the hotel was excellent and very useful for us. we liked the breakfast. hotel staff kind and helpful overall. you can use metro easily to go around. only thing is to be careful in the city since there are many homeless people.

we enjoyed our stay but only thing that we think bed sheets' fabrics can be better actually. they make you sweat and itchy at night, not very comfortable...
