If you’re coming to Cape Town—this is your spot! Honestly, Cape Diamond Boutique Hotel was such a pleasant surprise! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel like an old friend visiting—not just a guest. They were super friendly, genuinely helpful, and always ready with a smile or a local tip (which, trust me, you’ll need because exploring Cape Town in just six days is no joke). The location? Chef’s kiss. I could easily get around and make the most of my time without stressing over long commutes or pricey Ubers. And the breakfast? Affordable AND delicious—definitely a 10/10 from me. I looked forward to it every morning! If you’re looking for a place that feels cozy, is well-located, and has that “we actually care about you” vibe—book here. I’m so glad I did. Just dont be a swimmer, you will be utterly dissapointed😩🤣

The hotel is centrally located in town which makes movement very easy and convenient. The staff, especially Sadia (in house-keeping) was exceptionally polite and attended to all requests in my 9-days stay. The occasional noise from the neighboring buildings could not be helped but all in all, I enjoyed my stay and my room thoroughly.

The was some Kerol disinfectant use for the washrooms whose smell lingered on some days that felt suffocating on days I had to stay in the hotel working all day. I wonder whether this can be restricted to some days, which though very hygienic, can be uncomfortable for long staying guests.

Friendly staff. Clean. Walking distance from all necessary shops. I think the rooftop bar can work in good weather. Nice sight from there. We didn't spend time there as it was winter, freezing cold and rainy. It was overall a good experience.

I din't feel safe going out walking from around 17h00. There is a lot of foot traffic in a small street. Just make sure that the milk, coffee and sugar are daily replaced as we found one day that it wasn't done. We had a modern bathroom. However, the shower water was running out of the shower into the room. We used unnecessary towels every to prevent it. We did bring it under the staff's attention when we left.

Modern urban hotel in a great city centre location. Comfortable quiet room and terrace. Very helpful staff and very efficient housekeeping service. Adjacent convenient parking facility.

The service was awesome in enjoyed staying there. Please someone give the lady working on the 8th floor some flowers, her service is out of this world (her name starts with N...). She is so loving, helpingand have sense of humour. Please I'll like staying at floor 8 again. Luke at the reception is very good guy. His service is awesome.

The location is ok, but I think it can attract more people if it was not right in the heart of CBD. I think the security at ground floor should be tightened. Other than that, I recommend CTD hotel and I'm coming back

I loved just about everything. The interior was very pretty. They had this piano music playing on the background by the reception area and it was soo soothing - i just loved it. Cape Diamond Boutique Hotel was close to so many facilities - which saved us a whole lot on uber costs. We could walk to shops and restaurants around. V&A Waterfront Mall is not that far- Just 12 minutes away by uber. The staff was amazing. Mr Masi from reception was such great help, was so patient with us and our million questions about cape town. Would definitely come back.

The breakfast was very limited in terms of variety - for someone who had a bunch of activities lined up for the day, we needed a filling breakfast. Otherwise, everything was spectacular.

I love the fact that your privacy was respected . It was peacefull and relaxed . I loved the air-conditioning. Clean room loved the amazing breakfast buffet . ALSO I really must say this. The assistant on rooftop has such an amazing personality. Knows how to interact whilst still being professional and focusing on his work. His really an amazing person. Bt all in all will definitely be coming again

Just didn't like the fact that if u have no Netflix account. The TV was of no use. Would have been so nice to watch a nice movie on the big screen aswell. But I enjoyed my stay

I loved that the location was so central - the directions to the property were easy to follow and it was easy getting in and out of the hotel even in traffic. Convenience stores are located literally on the doorstep so getting a late night snack and breakfast on the go was safe, value for money and convenient.

I did not like that I had to pay for parking, nor the level of noise in the vicinity of the hotel (obviously out of control of the Hotel), but if you are a light sleeper you will struggle here.

Very central location and safe. Safe, parking garage parking for our vehicle gave us peace of mind. Charming and beautiful hotel in historical part of the CBD. Went to great lengths to keep the history of the building, but with lovely modern amenities. Rooftop bar is a must. Cape Town CBD has security officers everywhere, so we felt safe to walk around, even at night. But do be vigilent and do not walk alone.

The place is very clean and the staff is friendly, I like that they allow you to check out anytime, of course that doesn’t come free, but they’re flexible

Their furniture is very old, the bath tub in our room was very very old, the handle was glued to the bath tub, they didn’t have a microwave in our room so we couldn’t warm food, the windows in the bathroom were hard to close, they are also old.
