Santa Maria is in a perfect location for us. The rooms are clean and comfortable, dated but that’s not a concern. The views are stunning and if in the right part of the complex the view of the sun set is amazing. Food is excellent , themed nights and outside dining are a plus for variety. Always plenty of choices. Staff could not be more accommodating or friendly, nothing is ever too much . Sunbeds and umbrellas are plentiful and as our last trip was in December I was not expecting the pool to be as warm as it was, which was another added bonus. Also very nicely decorated fir Christmas

The room was lovely and would stay again, perfect location for shops bars and restaurants plus an easy stroll to the beach, breakfast and dinner were very good so happy days

The one thing that was rubbish was the internet

Centrally located to where we wanted to be. Extremely clean with helpful, friendly staff.

Could do with a refurb. Certainly our room didn’t look as if it had been touched for at least 20 years.

The location - brilliant! Views - phenomenal! Breakfast - great selection of hot and cold options. Overall lovely and clean. Helpful staff. Within walking distance of the beach. Spectacular views of mount Tiede and the sea from the hotel restaurant and rooms. Nice sized room with black out curtains. Easy to get to and reception helpfully ordered us a taxi to the airport.

Sound proofing - could hear outside noise (live music etc) and thin walls inside as well. Worth noting: you have to pay per day to use the safe. You have to pay a deposit at reception to use the iron (it is refunded though).

Location was good, next to shops, beaches and restaurants. Breakfasts were the same every morning but delicious. Dinners were different every time with different meat choices.

Location was in the middle of restaurants bars and shops,the room was very good for a studio and the restaurant was excellent plenty to choose from at all meals a bonus cold buffet was excellent

There was only one toaster and it was very slow so it was just your luck it could take 15 minutes to get your toastour

Excellent location Staff were so friendly and great with the kids especially the waiters in the dining room were very patient Food was good

Only complaint was lack of Wi-Fi

Delicious breakfast and dinner, several options. The staff were very friendly, reception always helpful. Parking available on the property for an additional fee. Very nice view on Teide. The location is nice, many shops and restaurants nearby, good beaches.

It was very hot in the room as there was no proper air conditioner and our room was on the sunny side. The rooms are a bit outdated, need renovation.

It's a good all rounder of a 3 star hotel. Really clean and the staff are great. Good food, not the best choices but always found something and was hot, this is 3 star and not 4 or 5 star so good food for 3 star though

Rooms were too hot, fans were.given but not very good (better than no fan of course)
