Our group of 8 stayed together. The location is good. Great value.

Breakfast was a joke. We just looked and left to go eat somewhere else. It was basically bread, butter, coffee, water, and I think one more item. No juice/iogurt/cheese/eggs. Constanza Café across the street was fantastic!

Clean new hostel. Basically in the city center within walking distance of everything. Comfortable beds. Friendly and polite staff. Good value for the money.

Was still partially under reforms so a bit noisy during daytime with all the work being done. The breakfast is simple and a bit on the "French" side with mainly bakery products being offered. No fresh vegetables, cold cuts or warm products of any kind. The shower cubicle in the double room was so small that a normally sized person has a hard time fitting in it XD

- clean - ok location - possibility to come later - the beds were ok

- the check in was a bit slow (too many people standing in the line) - I had a large backpack and wanted to leave it there at the accommodation after my stay but could not. The lockers were already full and the staff did not offer another alternative, was just staring at me instead. Furthermore, paying 8 or 9 euros for it seemed a bit excessive. - it was not easy climbing down the top bunk as the gaps between the individual stairs were quite big - you have to ask for info about the breakfast. The staff did not tell me anything on their own - only 1 toilet per room of 10. - the room was quite cold but the blanket a bit warm

Location was fantastic! Grocery store around the corner with plenty of cafés for coffee shops in the morning. The Lara Theater around the corner was great. I saw a very VERY funny comedy play. My Spanish is OK and it was wonderful to try to get some of that Spanish humor. Fantastic acting, just a super fun night at the theater around the corner from the hostel. The beds are cubby style, which I love. They are quieter and more comfortable than the open bunkbeds. Large Drawers with a locking system for your backpack or personal items if you have your own lock. The adventure hostel was extremely crowded in August, which is normal for Spain. The staff did their best to process everyone in a timely manner. The only thing I missed was a kitchen facility which they do not have. But with plenty of great inexpensive restaurants in the neighborhood, it was fun to try the local Spanish cuisine which I also love. I will be staying here again the next time I am in Madrid. Thanks adventure hostel.

The whole layout of the Accommodation- well thought of- well protected and inherent individual privacy- bed to bed- despite so many beds within a room- each bed had a sliding curtain to cover and the walls wood cover to enhance cosyness and warmth.. good quality- Orthophedic style.. clean all through.. Plus each floor and corridors clean well lookef after and wide enough to walk with luggage (and roll them should we neeede) lifts and ample wooden stairscase.. giving the building character! Bathroom on each with Showers and toilets.. too well kept.. Double glazing windows and Aircon everywhere!

Nothing.

By far my favorite hostel in Madrid. The staff were nice and helpful, they have several cleaning staff which is why the beds and facilities were always clean. The location was great, right in the heart of Madrid. The co-working space was spacious and pretty comfortable. Overall, I am really satisfied with my stay here and would definitely visit again!

The only downside is not having a microwave or a kitchen in the hostel. But lots of stores where you can grab food and eat it in the co-working spaces and they even have their own restaurant adjacent to the hostel facility.

I was very pleased there was a lift. I was tired having walked over 100m on the Camino Santiago. (Top floor) The rooms were compact. But you were able to sit up in the bed which was great. It felt like a very small room in itself and the curtain felt great. Power sockets and your own lights are a great joy. Shower room was clean and good power shower Overall clean (mostly) friendly safe place to stay. The night staff booked me a taxi for the airport in the morning as it was an early flight.

The shower cubicle itself was very small, not much room for manoeuvering.

Breakfast was adequate and satisfactory. Nothing very fancy but we had juice, coffee and tea, bread, cereal and fruit. The locality of the hostel was very good as it was away from the main road and overall quite quiet. However there was a bit of noise when the garbage trucks came around in the early morning but if you had a tiring day you would probably sleep through it. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and I really appreciate their help with all my queries. The room was clean and large and we had a very comfortable sleep.

I was not aware that the hostel was undergoing renovation works during our stay. So the downside was that the lift was not working. For the first 3 days I was there on my own I had booked a dormitory room and it was on the 3rd floor. Carrying my luggage bag weighing 20kg plus my carry on was extremely difficult given that I am a senior traveller. However when I moved to the twin room as a friend was going to join me I had requested for a room on the first floor and the staff obliged - even getting the room ready earlier than I expected.

It’s super calm and you can really rest. I love the fact the cabins have privacy and we share toilet just with the people who are in your room. Also the location is perfect since your near to many subway stations and the main points of the city in a walking distance.

That there’s an elevator that I couldn’t use. I don’t know if it was in maintenance, but since I have knee problems and was with my suitcase, it wasn’t cool to go to my room by stairs. Also, no protein in the breakfast, just butter, jelly with bread and fruits.
