Placement is very good, Comfortable room. Very clean. Great breakfast. Beautiful view from the small balcony.

It is very noisy outside at night, so we had to sleep with the window closed. Because of this, the room was stuffy, and the air conditioner only worked for heating, so we did not turn it on. It would be nice if there was a kettle or coffee machine in the room, or at least somewhere in the dining room or near the reception. There is no outlet near one of the beds.

Great location, really central, lots of shops and restaurants close by and lots to see and do within easy walking distance. Nice that road was pedestrianised so no traffic. We stayed a week, and were given a quieter room (with no view), but were given the choice when we arrived to have a room overlooking the street if we had wished to change it, which seemed fair enough. (pros and cons were explained by very helpful staff). Reception was staffed 24 hrs, and all the staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful. Comfortable room/bed, very effective air con, great shower, room cleaned to a high standard every day. Can’t comment on the breakfast as never had it. Very close to both Sol and Opera metro which was very convenient. We would definitely want to stay here again if we return to Madrid.

I missed not having the facility to make coffee/tea in the room, but when we were looking at other hotels in the same price range, this seemed to be the norm, and it certainly didn’t spoil our enjoyment. There really wasn’t anything that we didn’t like about the hotel. It was exactly as described.

The location of the hotel is quite good, it is in a busy street but despite of this, we did not hear anything during the night. The room was clean, there were 2 bottles of water for us and some kits were (dental kit, shower cap etc...) available in the bathroom. There was a shelf to put the suitcase, the shelves and hangers were enough for 2 person. Also room was big enough to open a big suitcase next to the desk, so the size of the room was quite convenient. Since the hotel is in the center, it was easy to find supermarket, restaurants just by walking. The staff was very helpful, they helped me to clarify my airport transfer, the personnel in the reception talked with them in Spanish, so it is clarified quickly. We really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay again this hotel.

The bed was a bit small, but it was not a issue for us since we stayed only 1 night.

Great location, close to the major tourist areas. Very nice and helpful staff. Our rooms were exceptionally clean, with good quality linen and good lighting. Reading lights by the bed were a bonus. The beds were incredibly comfortable with a choice of pillow heights. Blackput curtains for those that require them. The bathrooms were a good size and with nice towels. Toiletries and courtesy packs were all recyclable l, as were the water containers (complimentary) so it was very nice to see a hotel make this extra effort for the environment.

Our rooms opened onto an airwell with rather noisy air-conditioning running below. They were quiet with the window closed. A guy was smoking at the window opposite and could see straight into our room if the curtain was not drawn. Our booking showed rooms with windows facing the Plaza. We were only passing through (late arrival, early departure), so we didn't bother trying to change, but I suggest checking your room on arrival to ensure it is what you booked.

Central to everything in a walking district of Madrid. It was clean and very quiet, in spite of all the crowds outside.

No washcloths. It’s hard to use liquid soap without a washcloth. Room was a bit small, pictures made it look bigger, but that’s not really an issue.

Location is just perfect you're close to everything. We made everything by foot, we didn't have to take public transport even once. The hotel has everything you need. It was super clean, spacious and confortable. We had a nice view from our balcony over the Arenal street. Breakfast is nice and tasty. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel even offer room service which we didn't make use of. Bottels of water are offerd on the first night and you can make use of the mini bar. The toiletteries they offer are more than in most accommodations (incl. Conditioner and toothbrush)

We stayed from Saturday to Tuesday and on the first night it was quite loud. Since Madrid is a lively city we could hear a lot of noice until 4 in the morning. But it was less on the other nights. Our room was facing the main street, the noice is probably less if you are staying in the other side of the building.

Absolutely amazing location! Really nice set up of the hotel, rooms were spacious and modern and comfortable. Really nice breakfast with a great choice of everything what you can think of. Reception seemed to be staffed 24 hours and place was overall very clean especially bathrooms.

I wouldn’t want to score it down as it was a beautiful and charming hotel. Only thing needing looking into was a shower cabin in a bathroom. On certain occasions whilst using a bigger shower water would escapade and flood not only bathroom from but also “escape” to the hallway and to the main door. Looking at the door frame in the bathroom it was happening in a past so would be a shame if it wouldn’t be resolved as bathroom overall was absolutely stunning. Also this is only a suggestion but it would be nice to have a kettle and some coffee in the room.

Very central location. Room and bed were comfortable. It was small and fairly dark is it overlooked a small internal courtyard. That said, this meant it was quiet (overlooking the main street would probably have been noisier) and I had specifically asked for a quiet location. For somewhere quiet, clean and safe, but amazingly central, it was good. Due to a special offer, the price was reasonable for the location. Good breakfast in pleasant room.

As per above, room was small (but we were only in Madrid for one night and did not need to spend much time in the room, so it was fine for our purposes).

The hotel was really impressive, right on a pedestrian street in the heart of Madrid, just a five-minute walk from the Plaza Puerta del Sol. It's super easy to walk everywhere from there. The staff were a pleasure to deal with and the rooms were modern, spacious and had new fittings. We were there in December and the room temperature was perfect. It was quiet and comfortable to be in.

This is a very minor issue, but despite the modern design and good renovation, they already need some cosmetic repairs in some places perhaps they have been densely used during year. It also turned out that the magnetic key for our room door was acting strangely and required special skills to work with it (!) I hope that for the new season there will be a chance to add more shine to this wonderful place.

Location was ideal - so much to see and taste within walking distance. The room was very small but perfectly comfortable - the bed was good. The bathroom was more spacious with an excellent shower. The breakfast was outstanding in variety & quality - health orientated but not shy with the traditional good stuff. The breakfast on offer was better than hotels I've stayed at in Berlin, China & Hong Kong. And the friendly faces in the morning was wonderful. it's exactly what I read in the reviews before choosing this hotel, it is great if you are solo traveler. Little things like use of the mini router for city wide wifi during my stay made it even better.

Although it comes with a basic mini bar, I think having a kettle in the room would elevate the experience & comfort.
