The location.

The bed, I was bitten by bed bugs and I still got itchy from it.

Superb location and prices, amazing. Highly recommended. I arrived in really hot days, and the place of the hostal is key. In a narrow street that uses the shade of the other buildings to create a more tolerable atmosphere. Not the best, but more tolerable. It's close to everything super important in Madrid, it was awesome. Beds were ok, It'd be nice to have some curtains per bunk bed to create some privacy, but in general they were fine. Room was super fresh, but I know that did not happen in other rooms. We were lucky, I guess? It's really safe and it feels really safe.

Staff in general is really nice, but there're a couple of guys (male and female) that could improve their treatment to guests. Better ventilation in tables at the reception could be a nice addition. As I had to work there too, my laptop was suffering with the concentrated heat. Also, I had the bad luck to presence a disagreement between 2 people, that I think are hostal managers. To me not a big deal, I was even laughing, but not sure other guests could feel the same in my position.

I like the location, super central and close to everything. The staff was very friendly too. The room was spacious.

Would have been ideal if the sink was not next to the beds as people who are sharing the rooms have to be more cautious about it. Sadly, it took over 30 minutes to check-in (only 1 family of four was ahead of me) but there’s only one receptionist. Please hire more staff on high season. There was a long line at the desk. There is a beautiful terrace, with a bar. But they said it’s been closed since the pandemic. It sucks cuz you have all the facilities to make the place much nicer.☺️

The place is really very central so it’s perfect for sightseeing and discovering Madrid. You have all types of restaurants around - tapas, Spanish traditional cuisine, international cuisine, bars where nobody speaks English at all and cook the best dishes! Really perfect. It’s 10-15 mins walk to the main Palaces of central Madrid and I really recommend you visiting Naval Museum as well, it’s impressive. This hostel proposes breakfast from 8 to 11 AM (a separate thank you for keeping it available until late). I didn’t take it because I didn’t have time but it looked really good and for the price of 6 EUR - very satisfying. There is also a closed terrasse behind in case you want to work with your laptop, etc. + I added 1 EUR and got a place in 4-bed room instead of idk 8? + 1 EUR and I upgraded it to female-only, so you really feel totally safe as a female solo-traveller, which is an important and nice point There is a shower and the toilet in two separate rooms “attached” to the bedroom, so it’s only for you 4 + there are lockers near each bed. Other people wrote that this hostel doesn’t have a kitchen but honestly there are so many affordable and curious places to eat around this location that I didn’t even check. For the price + location + feeling of security I’d definitely come back! Ah, and nice wide beds! There were really comfortable and you have like a looot of space By the way, even though it’s super central - I didn’t hear any music when I went to bed so maybe I was lucky but I think you shouldn’t worry much about the noise from outside.

Location: Great location, around 10 minutes walking from Puerta del Sol. Everything you might need is within easy reach—shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions. Staff: Very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast guy was funny and made everyone feel at ease. Front desk staff were easygoing, helpful, and added a fun touch to the experience. Ambience: The vibe is cool and relaxed. You can either enjoy your time inside the hostel or explore the city with ease. Room: The room was clean and in good condition, ensuring a comfortable stay.

Pros: -Common area was beautifull. -Breakfast was 6 euros and it was adequate. Cakes, croissants, breads, cheeses, hams and lots of drinks. -Staff was so friendly. They provide everything from towels to keys for the lockers. -The location was amazing. So close to Puarta del Sol.

Cons: -The beds are old, while you're trying to go up, it feels like an earthquake. -The hostel doesn't have a quiet hour policy, which means, the guests can be too loud at 2 am and you cannot do anything about it. I heard yellings of drunk people at both nights i stayed, inside and outside, at the street.

The staff are friendly, the room is quite spacious and the bed is good. The only downside of being in a shared bedroom is that I had to be mindful of the others who are already sleeping so I can't turn on the lights to use the sink in the room to brush my teeth or wash my face, so I had to do everything inside the shower. But I guess if it's a shared room for a group of friends/family where there's confidence, then all is good considering the price and location. I would definitely book again.

Seems like there's no sound proofing because all night I was hearing the people loitering outside.

The hostel was great, and the location was terrific! The staff was friendly, and I did not spend any money on transportation since I was in the city centre the whole time! There are many restaurants around, too, which is great!

Sadly, the room I had was located right on the main street, and the window didn't work, so we didn't have proper ventilation. The street was very noisy, so if you're a light sleeper like me, request a room on the quiet side of the hostel.

It was very convenient in terms of location, the hostel is in the very center, with access to all main attractions. t The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The 4 bedroom room for females with private bathroom where I stayed was comfortable, clean. The fresh clean sheets and towels were provided. The room was equipped with everything needed, the private lockers, toilet papers, towels, body gel/shampoo.

Everything. This is my goto place to stay in Madrid, it's so close to everything. The staff are great. The vibe is amazing. You can pretty much walk to everything or are close to public transport. Lots of great places to eat nearby and best of all, taxi whenever you need one as they always drive along the road. It'd a win, win
