The staff were very friendly The rooms were very clean. Good views, The bed was comfortable, not far to walk to beach, trams or buses

There was a kettle to make coffee but we did not have a toaster to have toast with my coffee no microwave as well if I wanted to heat a snack up or hot milk up for a cappuccino coffee (nescafe coffee sachet) The shower was old fashioned you had to run the bath water and then press a button on the outlet where water was coming out so the shower will work the bath water runs aswell while you're having a shower which is very weird, at first we did not know how to work it as the bath water was only running. We had to ask at service desk to how to use it

The room was better than the average size. We had a king-size bed that was very comfortable. The pillows were very comfortable, too. The bar and deck by the pool are a great spot to relax. Check out is 11, which is great. There is more that is good than bad about this hotel. The comfy bed, location and great restaurant next door are all reasons why we would book this hotel again.

The tea/coffee bar in our room had not been fully restocked. This is minor and easily rectified, but you should not have to ask for it to be done. Checkout is 11am, which is great. However, the breakfast finishes at 10 am. So if you take advantage of checkout time for a sleep in, you miss breakfast. Luckily, there is a great restaurant next door (Surfers Pavilion) where we were able to have a leisurely and delicious breakfast. There is no free parking on site.

I found the Location convenient for the beach, markets, shops, coffee shops and a good verity of places to eat, easy to get around. It was a good size room, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff at the reception desk were helpful and polite. Overall it was a pleasant experience and have no hesitation staying there again.

(1) I found the bath a little too high to get in and out of for the shower, a small plastic step would work. (2) A none slip matt in the bottom of the bath would be good, (Fibreglass and soap can get very slippery) (3) I had to finger tighten the nuts on the taps in both the sink and shower. so the tap handle didn't come off. (4) The shower leaked on the floor. (5) A small chair in the room would have been nice for watching tv. (6) I couldn't get on the single bed, it kept rolling away from me and getting down on the floor to adjust the castors wasn't an option. To be fair though, I'm 70 with Replacements in Both Hips and Both knees, so these thing listed might not effect other people and I wouldn't consider these comments to be a deal breaker.

Really great location on the canal. The view was spectacular for sunset. Got an added attraction too. we saw the Chinese rocket launch.

The railings on the balcony seemed a little flimsy considering the height we were at on the 17th floor. The balcony hadnt been cleaned very well. There was a ciggie butt on the floor and someones old ashtray can. We also left a good phone charger there in the room but there was nobody calling to say they found it. Considering you have all of my information, I would have thought you would let me know. The bath was so shallow I couldnt get covered with water and Im not THAT big. Nice there is one though.

Staff were friendly, room was lovely, great location and extremely well-priced. The lifts were fast and well-maintained so it didn’t feel like I was on the set of the next final destination movie. Car park wasn’t too low for our Ford Ranger so they let us park out the front and didn’t charge an arm and a leg. Extremely good value for money!

My husband couldn’t fit in the shower, he was too tall. I’m 5”4 and I could fit nicely but anyone much taller would have their head on the roof or through it. Rooms aren’t sound proof either so we had rain sounds playing lightly to drown out the sounds of sirens and drunk people fighting outside.

We arrived 10 hours early after our fishing charter was cancelled (for the second time—cheers Alfred), running on zero sleep and pure frustration. The staff at Vibe didn’t just check us in early—they upgraded our room and restored our faith in humanity. Absolute legends. Room was spotless, spacious, and came with the perfect balcony for watching fireworks while eating kebabs and KFC (don’t judge us, we were living our best lives). Location is prime—close to everything, including great pubs, food spots, and bowling for when your day unexpectedly turns into a pub crawl/Connect Four tournament. Would 100% stay again, especially when we finally manage to catch that fishing charter. Vibe, you saved the weekend. 🙌🎆🍗

Staying at the Vibe Hotel Gold Coast was a great experience, especially because of its prime location just a short walk from Cavill Avenue—the heart of Surfers Paradise. Being so close meant easy access to the beach, shops, restaurants, nightlife, and public transport, all without needing a car. Despite being near all the action, the hotel’s riverside setting offered a peaceful vibe with beautiful views of the Nerang River. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, with great amenities like free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The hotel also featured a relaxing outdoor pool, a gym, and a stylish on-site restaurant and bar, Driftwood Social, perfect for unwinding after a day out. Overall, Vibe Hotel offered excellent value for money, combining convenience, comfort, and a laid-back atmosphere right in the middle of the Gold Coast’s most vibrant area.

Even though I had no negatives about my stay at the Vibe Hotel Gold Coast, there’s always room for small improvements. The hotel already went above and beyond by allowing us to check in early and offering the option of a later departure, which was incredibly convenient. If anything, perhaps expanding the in-room offerings—like complimentary bottled water or a small welcome snack—could add an extra thoughtful touch. It also would’ve been nice to see more poolside service or occasional events at the on-site bar, such as live music or themed nights, to enhance the social atmosphere. These are just minor ideas, though, as the overall experience was fantastic and exceeded expectations.

the hotel was well maintained, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was regularly serviced and cleaned, provided that it was a small apartment, we go what we paid for and our expectations were exceeded with this space. the shower was amazing, beautiful water pressure and space in the bathroom. however it did have a small basin for washing. the bedding was very comfortable and clean, the space felt very new and comfortable overall.

I would have liked to have a say in what floor i would be staying on as we were up on the 14th floor, however not much of an issue. The space provided a small bar fridge, a kettle, some glass and few cutlery. maybe in the future rooms could be offered with a microwave and small kitchenette space to provide better facilities for longer stays.

It was close to the beach, it had great access to the pool and the bar was reasonably priced. Beds were very comfortable and fridge worked great. Lady at the front desk was amazing and was a great vibe

There were soap/drinks marks from previous stays you could see on walls/doors. Due to there being a door connecting the rooms which weren’t sound proof were able to hear the people next to us yelling and arguing with each other and being woken up by someone vomiting. The balcony was also connected to other rooms so wasn’t able to enjoy out side and having to have the curtains shut so no one could see in. (Wouldn’t recommend level 5 rooms) I’m sure higher floors with no connecting rooms would have been nicer.

Outdoor spa was awesome, delicious cocktails and mocktails next to pool, great location, we had a good view of river and ocean, birthday card and treats waiting for my daughter which was super kind of the staff, room service was great value (loved the aracini balls), parking, my daughter and I enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Gym was a lil small and i noticed the outside of internal windows could do with a good scrub (slats would need removing). Fridge was a bit too small, we were travelling and struggled to fit our cold eski items within it. Breakfast $35 each on the day - no continental only price which would have been good for my daughter who ate a bowl of nutrigrain lol - most expensive cereal 😜
