Comfy bed and clean room.

Fish & Chips was dreadful. Battered to the depths of hell. Nearly inedible.

The hotel itself was stunning. Interiors were gorgeous. The hotel room was cosy and comfortable. We loved the rooftop pool and the nearby bars and restaurants. Such a great experience.

We were charged for items in the hotel room that must have been missed in previous bookings. But this was clarified and refunded straight away so no real issue there.

The location and the room was very nice.

The music in the lobby is far too loud. And the self service check in is awful. I have stayed here many times, but won’t come back unless this is changed.

- Nice swimming pool on the roof - friendly staff (most of them) - centrally located

- house keeping skipped the cleaning one day despite the sign hanging on the door ! - room on the 22nd and last floor was quite noisy because of the ventilation and air central located on the roof of the hotel: being in the room gives the impression you are flying (constant noise of engines) - due to cancelled flight, the stay was extended and one more night was booked but the hotel did not accommodate I that we remain in our room (despite same category) and made us pack and change to another room.

Rooms have been refurbished since my last stay at this hotel well appointed, bed was very comfortable, great water pressure in the shower

Parking was expensive - especially when its park yourself - granted its in the basement but thought $60 per night for this service was over the top - $45 a night would be more inline?

The location was excellent, no need for much transport as everything was in walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the little sitting area was nice too. The room was big, handy having a safe too.

The couches in the sitting area were not very comfortable. The fridge had too many drinks in it that we didn't want and there was no room for our own things to go in the fridge, it was annoying having to empty the fridge out and put all the drinks on the cabinet above, there is no need to fill the fridge so much as it can be refilled with room service each day Oh, there was no shower cap, I like those!

We have stayed at Rydges before, and the beds are so comfortable. We were on the 11th floor. View was ok, I would have rather had a view of the Theatre and Little China Town. Bathrooms as always, were clean and tidy. So convenient to everything, Little China Town across the road, and Bourke St a short walk for the tram. Staff were lovely. Food and drinks in the restaurant were great.

Parking is an absolute rip off. $60 dollars extra on top of what you already pay for the room and in the restaurant is just too much. There should be discounted parking for pensioners/disability permit holders but there is not. I flagged this with Rydges last year and still nothing has changed. Also, the air-conditioning in the room should be changeable. We woke up sweating and were not able to change the room setting. We like it cool, and it was not something we could change in the room. Bar fridge is also expensive. Disappointed that we were told we couldn't eat on the outside balcony in the restaurant due to it being a smoking area, yet when went back later in the evening, there were people sitting out there eating????

View was nice, everyone was friendly, great location in the CBD, bed was amazingly cozy (LOVED the spare blanket, so cozy, I wish I could have brought that home with me), shower and bath were lovely. Love that if you don't get housekeeping daily that you get $10 off, which is a nice ECO incentive to have.

Very specific to me but more food options would be nice, also a general understanding of cheese IS dairy. When you have a dairy allergy, ask about something is dairy free, get told yes then find out after that it has cheese. Unfortunately meant I lost a day of exploring, but other then that was good. Would also like maybe a small microwave option.

The location is right across Chinatown, making it really convenient as it is in the heart of the Melbourne CBD. Easy to be spoilt for dining choices. We took the train and it was a short walk of 5 mins from Parliament Station. Everything was excellent for us - the nice fresh smell which greeted us upon entering, the modern interiors, impeccably made rooms, comfortable beds, pillows and linens, the view from the window. We made a few requests which the staff gladly accommodated. Thank you so much for a memorable stay with my children! We will surely be back for our regular staycation in the city!

There is nothing that I will say I didn't really like. Breakfast could be better with pancakes for children for variety. Complimentary water in the room will be nice, too. No complaints, really.

Great location - within walking distance to food, transport and entertainment. Clean and modern facilities. Bed very comfortable. Good soundproofing despite being on the middle of the CBD - no issues with noise. Friendly staff. Self service counters very convenient. I was fortunate to have an early check in and a late check out. I stayed on level 15 which had a decent view.

I stayed 3 nights and didn’t receive any housekeeping. On the first day I thought it was because I left a ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door till around 11. But the next day I was out all morning and afternoon - still nothing. On my last evening I called reception to ask them to empty the bin and for a replenishment of tea bags - which they were prompt to do. Whilst a high quality hotel, they’ve cut corners on the small things like no complimentary water, no robes, no lotion.
