The hotel has the best location on the pier over the water with views of the bay and harbor. Loved the breakfast buffet and the flexibility to seat us near and open the front glass doors so the kids could get out and play on the landing allowing the adults to eat. Beds were comfortable and overall accommodations very nice with great views.

On the last day a cruise ship came in to dock right next to the hotel on our room side. It was fun to watch it come in but if we had stayed longer, our room view would have been obstructed by the big ship but we checked out that day so it worked for us.

We arrived in port from a cruise. It was early morning. Our room was, predictably not ready. But, in addition the current guests had arranged a late checkout, . So, we dropped off our things and headed out for a tour of Aukland. Upon our return at mid-afternoon, we got our room assignment, a very spacious corner unit with balcony and a view of the harbor. The amenities were super! If we visit Aukland again, this is where we'll be staying!

Not a "big" issue. However, when we tried to arrange dinner at the hotel that evening, we were told that there was no availability, "fully booked" according to the desk agent. We complained that we had just arrived and would rather relax and eat there as we had to be up very eary the next morning.. After searching, the agent was able to book a 7:30 seating. When we arrived and during our meal, not only was the dining room not fully booked, but the tables were less than 1/2 occupied throughout the evening! Also, despite the lack of diners, the service was somewhat slow at the outset, but improved as the evening wore on.

Great location. Lovely room and we were offered a free upgrade to a beautiful top floor room with a huge balcony. Very comfortable and quiet. The Fish restaurant was excellent and I’d give the food, preparation and wine pairing menu 10 out of 10.

We were offered an upgrade on arrival and then we weren’t and then we were again after lots of confusion. The upgrade room we were offered then wasn’t ready so we had to wait for over 1 hour ( free drinks vouchers were given) Because of the delay we were given an extended check out up to 1.00pm the next day. However, the next morning we were chased and harassed with several phone calls well before 1.00pm. Clearly our late check out agreed had not been noted anywhere. And there had been a staff change. So our morning was not exactly stress free.

Overall, it was an outstanding experience. Nestled right on the waterfront, the hotel offers stunning views of the harbour and is conveniently located near many of the city’s attractions, making it an excellent base for exploring Auckland. This hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the best that Auckland has to offer. I look forward to returning in the future!

Breakfast was a highlight, although there was a bit of a wait to be seated. While it wasn’t a major issue, it would be helpful if the hotel could manage this better during peak times. That said, the quality of the food made it worth the wait.

From the moment we arrived we knew we would love our experience at the Hilton. The concierge helped us with our bags and let us park outside temporarily to check in as we needed to return a car. The room was perfect, we had a spacious sea view room. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large and impeccably clean, with luxury amenities. Room service was quick, food was hot and delicious. We loved every part of our stay, the service we experienced from all staff we encountered was the best.

The amazing views. Room was very spacious. The best part was the buffet breakfast. Variety of choices of food. The pan cakes we ordered was beautifully presented with no extra charge. Staff were very quick, attentive and friendly. Been to a few buffet breakfast at hotels all over the globe and the staff here have been the best with how professional they are. The bed is huge. We ordered an extra bed thinking the bed will not be big enough for family of 3 but turns out the bed was massive so we cancelled the extra bed and saved some money. The 3 of us fit easily on the bed and still had lots of space.

Some parts of the hotel does need updating like the balcony flooring. Drainage is not great and it would have puddles as it was raining a bit. Some of the lose tiles had water stuck underneath and it would flow out when stepping on the tiles.

I had a great stay at Hilton Auckland, which is in an excellent location with outstanding service. The taxi ride from the airport took about 35 minutes, and despite arriving at an unreasonable hour due to my flight schedule, the hotel graciously allowed me an early check-in, so I could rest immediately upon arrival. The room I stayed in had a view of the harbor, offering beautiful nighttime scenery. Breakfast the next morning was simple but substantial, with just the essentials needed for a good start to the day. I was particularly impressed with the scrambled eggs—they were delicious! Overall, my experience at Hilton Auckland was very positive, and I would recommend it for its location, service, and great breakfast.

The room was amazing, and a really good size for 2 people. Loved the balcony overlooking the harbour. Everything was exactly how we expected and more.

Nothing really - however, the only "structural" observation is that it would be great to have a roof covering the balcony, so people can sit outside on rainy days without getting wet (as was the case with us). We come from Wellington, so we don't get warm rainy days, which we had in Auckland, so would have loved to be able to sit outside, enjoying the views, the warmth and not be rained on.

Bed and tv could to be swapped, so you can lie in bed and see the view. Shower/bathroom floor could do with non slip or have the shower water contained in shower better/ better slop to drain? - water exceeds shower area. Microwave always good to have. Kumara fries were Luke warm/cold from dinner service unfortunately- no microwave to heat up

The entire stay was really smooth. The staff, location, room, views, cleanliness. This was one of the most special and beautiful experience till date in Auckland.

The only thing which was a set back was the dinner at the restaurant. They did not contact me after the booking was made. They could have handled the dietary needs in a different way and inform beforehand. Took us more than 45 minutes to decide on the menu.
