The Bed was exceptionally comfortable. I'd go back just to sleep on the bed again. The room was clean and modern. The room was quiet.

The room was small for two people. There isn't any onsite parking. It's in the Auckland CBD area so on street parking is expensive. There is a nearby Wynard Carpark but the bottom 3 floors are "Reserved" parking ONLY, so you have to drive up 4 floors of tight negotiation! and you have to walk out on the street around the corner to get back to the Travelodge entrance. The Wynard Car park is expensive week days sooo lucky I was there with cheaper weekend parking.

Bed was super comfy, good location keep in mind some of the cafes/restaurants near the hotel are shut on a weekend or shut at 6pm. Other than that’s all good. Gorgeous view over Auckland city. Handy tips for the parking: free street parking after 6pm until 8am. There is a free all day car park (weekends only) on the corner of fanshawe street & Beaumont street. It’s under the bridge. It’s a 5 minute walk to the hotel from there. We often parked there as it’s also 3 free hours at all other times. It worked out better for us than using the hotel carpark. There is also free all day (weekends only) parking on Beaumont street. If you are happy to move your car around a bit then you can get away with not paying for parking or just pay a little bit!

Our bed was made with a bedsheet that had stains on it but it wasn’t a problem as reception brought us a clean one to swap out. Cleanliness of the room could be improved slightly, dusty shelves in the cupboard where the kettle is and dirty marks on the walls. However, this didn’t really make any difference to our stay. We didn’t always put the sign out for our room to be cleaned every day.

The hotel is nicely quiet and the rooms very comfortable. It's a little out of the center--don't book here if you're not up for a 15-minute walk to the ferry building--but that's why it's quiet, which we really appreciated. Parking was relatively easy, in the adjoining (paid) parking garage. The attached coffee shop and market next door were really convenient, and the fish market area nearby is quite charming for a laid-back meal or drink. The only drawback for us was that we were there for four nights and our room was never cleaned. We were informed, going in, that the rooms are cleaned once every three days, and we had zero problem with that, but in four nights, you'd think we would have gotten one cleaning. That was a disappointment.

Small but clean rooms. Very quiet location and close to Wynyard Quarter. Comfortable bed and modern furnishings. Pleasant and reasonably priced breakfast at The Tuck Shop.

Could have had more instructions about parking. Did not know that it was 4th floor and above. And we went down the wrong exit elevator and had to walk around to find the hotel. On leaving the hotel, we found the parking lift closer to the hotel. These details should be included in the confirmation emails.

Location was great, short walking distance to restaurants, the Viaduct and much of the northern CBD. Loved having a supermarket, cafe and the carpark all the same building for convenience! The hotel was clean, and room was larger than average. The city view was wonderful. The 24hr reception was good as we arrived at 2am, smooth check in process.

The bed was very uncomfortable, felt like an old spring mattress that doesn't hold the shape and will slope down if you sleep too close to the edge. The pillows were also very flat and after three nights but neck and back were so sore I had to get a massage for relief.

A no-frills, budget-friendly stay in a great location. The room was basic but functional—everything worked as expected, and it was spotlessly clean. The location is excellent, with easy access to restuarants & cafes. Hotel has a convenient on-site café for a quick bite or coffee, and there’s a supermarket right next door, which made grabbing essentials super easy. Perfect for short stays or travelers who prioritize value and location over luxury.

The pillows were a bit too soft for my liking—firmer options would have made for a better night’s sleep.

Modern hotel in a great location just a short walking distance from the Viaduct with all its vibrant bars and restaurants. Room was decent and spacious. I was lucky to be accommodated on the last floor with a truly amazing view of Auckland skyline. Also enjoyed very much the breakfast options in the adjacent Tuck Shop. Parking option is available right next door (Wynyard Carpark) at reasonable price (costed us 20 NZD for a night). Overall a good value for money.

Just a little misfortune during our one night stay. The day we arrived, the hotel had a breakdown on its IT system, which delayed a bit the check in-process and unabled the guests to get a key card for their room. The staff handled this professionally through, and just had to accompany us to our room each time to manually unlock/open the door to access it.

Location was excellent. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and the harbour. Next door to Woollies. Security was excellent, needing the swipe card to open the property front door after 9pm and the 24hour reception desk was good, especially when arriving late at night. It’s very quiet at night too because it’s in a side street.

Our room was very small with no table or chairs for comfortable seating. Whilst it was ok for a night or two I wouldn’t like to be in it for a week. A little overpriced for what you get. No cafe (though there is one next door), bar, restaurant, pool etc. Very basic.

Room was spacious enough for two people with a beautiful view of the Sky Tower and city, and very comfortable to stay in. All staff I spoke to were helpful and polite throughout our stay. The location was wonderful with lots nearby including the ferry. Unfortunately my father got sick on the day before we checked out, but the staff were kind and helpful throughout the emergency as we had to call an ambulance and made a stressful scenario easier and we were very thankful for their support.

Only issue was that I had booked a twin room for my father and I but upon entering the room found the twin beds had been made up as a double bed. I remade the beds and separated them myself but would have appreciated if the room was set up this way as we were tired from traveling. There was enough bedding provided for the beds to be separated and as we arrived in the evening I didn’t want to bother hotel staff. However everything else was wonderful, and I would absolutely do this again to stay here in future!
