The room was great, a good size, with ample storage for luggage, a good sofa bed. I must commend the housekeeping who did an excellent job in cleaning our room on a daily basis. We were travelling with 2 young children and left a fair bit of mess at times. All of the staff were extremely courteous, always smiling, and holding doors open, providing us a refreshing drink on arrival and assisting us with the luggage. We did not have breakfast included as we were not early morning risers but did see the buffet and there seemed to be plenty of options available. We also used the upstairs pool which was completely empty during the day so we had it to ourselves. They also had separate sauna and steam rooms. Overall an excellent hotel.

As much as I appreciate that the hotel provided appliances like a washing/machine dryer, an iron, and kettle, these were all very poor appliances. The kettle was tiny and not suitable for our needs with a baby needing to boil water. The iron was also not very good. I am not expecting state of the art appliances, but something a little bit better.

Excellent Staff behaviour, Size of the bed was very comfortable for a couple with a 10 year old child, Room had a washing machine which was very useful Room service and daily cleaning was excellent. It was nicely sanitized and smelling fresh every time we came back from our daily trips Room had microwave, refrigerator and cutlery as well which was again quite useful as we had a child

Room does not include drinking water if you don't book through booking.com and you have to buy from them or outside. Though not very costly matter but just wanted to mention just in case the info is helpful for someone. Probably other hotels also follow this....I am not sure.

Well managed, Spacious, cookware availability

New bathroom the water can flood outside the bathing area. The barrier is not sufficient to confine water inside the shower area.

Room was spacious and comfortable, staff were polite and attentive, location was convenient, lunch options were lovely and the fridge and stove top were really helpful.

The breakfast was good, but was predominantly Indian cuisine as is much of surrounding area, there was toast and some cereal, fruits and yoghurt and some egg dishes as well as pancakes and waffles but if you don’t like the Indian breakfast options, it can get a little repetitive.

Exceptional service. Staff was very warm and friendly and attended to all our needs. The location of the hotel is very good and the room was very clean. The breakfast too was very good. The washing machine was a nice bonus. Also the hotel staff surprised us by arranging a birthday surprise for my daughter by keeping a cake in our room on her birthday, She was obviously thrilled to bits. Really appreciate that gesture.

The hotel makes arrangements for visit by bus to the La Mer beach. However the timings were from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm which is not the most ideal time for a beach visit. May be they could schedule it from 5 pm to 7 pm which would be more ideal.

Location was great. Many shops and eateries within 10 minute walking distance. My room, studio with balcony, was spacious, clean and well kept. Liked the sliding partition that neatly separates bed side area and the kitchen side area. I was given a room on the 1st floor which I felt was a bit noisy due to the road. I requested for a higher floor and was allotted the next day on the 6th floor. It was great. Reception staff were very professional, polite and helpful. Cleaning staff did their job thoroughly. Initially booked for a week, but later extended my stay for one more week over here.

The staff were very attentive and professional. We felt their hospitality as soon as we walked in for our check in. Every morning they had a chef who would prepare eggs (omelettes, scrambled eggs etc) upon request and they served these amazing cookies with dates in them. On several evenings we ordered in take out as we did have a sink with new sponge and dish soap available to us in our room. I liked how the cost to stay at this hotel apartment was significantly lower than others which allowed our family to spend on experiences such as Tours, Indoor Snow Play, Aya Universe, Safari etc while remaining within budget... The Savoy Suites offered free mini van transportation to the metro or beach daily (except weekends) from 7:30am till 8:45am. However, because it is located close to the Sharaf DG metro station, a 6 minute walk, taking the short cuts, and with young kids who did not rise early, we opted to purchase the Silver Nol Metro Card with access to All Zones for 26 euros per person. The card was valid for a whole week, and I must say it was the best decision we made, as our kids also got to experience using public transportation, which by the way gets 5 stars - very well organized, clean and timely. The Silver Nol Card also gave us free access to the public tram and busses. Note: if you plan on going to the Aquaventure Waterpark, you must take the blue line: Monorail which costs an additional 25 euros per family of 4 each way.

The hotel is NOT newly updated as one would expect through the advertised title. Our room smelled a bit funny at first (locked up humidity), we believe due to the bathroom air ventilation not working, but once we notified the reception they cleaned and refreshed it for us. The next days no distinct funny smells. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable, and sheets and towels changed on a daily basis, upon request. Breakfast could be enhanced by including hot chocolate for kids and freshly squeezed juices, as well as coffee capsule machines for coffee options other than filtered.

Location is brilliant of you want to stay in the old part of Dubai- Karama, Bur Dubai, Sharjah - it was convenient to get around from and to. A 10 minute walk to the Burjuman metro and mall. The staff are absolutely fantastic, polite and professional. Shreekanth (apologies for not spelling your name correct) and Nicole and reception were amazing at their jobs. Imran the concierge chap was very helpful and always provided a service with a smile. I loved the fact that it has 24 hour staff at reception. The rooms are spacious and well kitted out for home cooking. Cleaning is excellent and they also offer room service. I used the Roof top services and housekeeping opened the sauna and steam room for me which was really sweet. There is a swimming pool and terrace. Pleasantly happy with the room, location and quality of Savoy Suites. The location has lots of mainly Indian restaurants and cafes. Thank you for making my stay great !

Noisy at night but cannot be helped. Some noisy neighbours who had no care for other residents. Parking is tight but available for residents.
