This was our second stay at Hilton London Hyde Park. The hotel, staff, and accommodations are top notch. The closeness to Hyde Park is an additional plus for walks in the park. The closeness to the tube stations, bus stops, and bikes makes getting around, easy.

The bathroom was extremely small. The room we stayed in the year before had a much better bathroom floor plan. Last year and this year, the hotel had issues with hot water. Not sure why that is a recurring issue. Not the fault of the hotel, but the room with a view: Hyde Park did not trim the trees, weeds and overgrowth, so there really was no significant view at all of Hyde Park from our room.

Being the member of Hilton honors i was upgraded to a King room with a huge and comfortable bad, which was appreciated, but i regret the "view" on the backdoors court of the hotel. Still the room was spacious for London standards, quite small bathroom but again for London its ok. The breakfast had a very decent choice, everything i tried was tasty. The room was clean, very nice quality of shower gel, shampoo, soap, even tooth kit was available which is quite rare in the hotels now a days. Re location, 10 min walk from Paddington station and literally next to tube station. 2 bottles of water available in the room (still and sparkling) on arrival, as well as a compliment of biscuits. Digital key for my room through Hilton honors app is really practical, i recommend!

Quite bad isolation, you could hear people walking and speaking in the corridors, but again its quite commun for London. There is 1 thing i particularly did not appreciate is to be pushed by the staff (front desk) to rate them 9 or 10 on my review and to mention their name. I truly believe that you should not tell your clients how to rate you and let them the liberty to make their own choice after their stay. This is pity because if the person would not insist so hard i would mention the name by myself as indeed, the service was good, but in the end of the day, it was as good as i could expect from a 4 star Hilton anywhere in the world, nothing more. This is the only point why i did not put 10 out of 10 as global note.

I was very happy with the hotel, the service, the staff and above all the location. Really excellent location as there is Hyde park in front, Metro/Tube basically under the building and so many comfortable buses going almost everywhere including straight to oxford street and all the attraction places. The BigBus and other tourist buses also stop by the hotel

I liked the location and facility around the location. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and very professional. Though payment did not include breakfast, I did eat at the restaurant and they gave me 25% discount.

Paid extra to upgrade one room out of the two rooms booked! I did request that the should an upgraded room be possible it had to be with a shower only ( not shower over the bath) as my sister needed that option. However on checking into the upgraded room it was a shower over the bath! So I had to have that room instead of her! She didn’t receive the extra treat in the end! Didn’t change it though !The staff at the hotel were excellent, friendly helpful ! By mistake I had only paid for one of us for breakfast instead of for two of us! They were kind enough to give me a complimentary voucher for the second person!

Overall it was fine, great location near two tube stations etc! The breakfast dining room was very tired! Could do with a revamp! I would definitely book it again tho as it is in such a great location!!

The staff was very accommodating. Answered all my questions and requests. They mentioned the discount at the restaurant next door for hotel guests and we took advantage of it. My sister and I loved the food at the restaurant and had dinner there a couple of times.

The room had an odd smell on day one. The staff took care of it but we couldn’t breathe when we first arrived. We stayed five nights and they didn’t refill the body wash. Unfortunately I was in the shower when I found out :(

I always stay in this hotel for the location, it’s located in a beautiful and convenient area. Near public transportation and beautiful hotel.

What I didn’t like this time is I felt discriminated, I’m very aware for the check in time but sometimes when it’s available, you can get a little earlier. I arrived earlier and the concierge told me if there is availability he will give me my room. I waited almost an hour and then 3 different guests arrived after me and they got their rooms. I asked the concierge again and he told me it was because my rate, so Aimee’s to wait until 3oclock. I didn’t like it at all, it is not like I didn’t pay a full rate so I don’t know what he meant. And also if he would tell me from the beginning if would left my suitcases and left for lunch or something. I considered very unpolite and harsh.

Great shower pressure. Nice a la carte breakfast with 25% discount. King bed was very comfortable. Right across is the gorgeous Hyde Park and next door is Queensway Tube Station. Lots of restaurants and pub nearby. Had a lovely dinner at Med Salleh a Malaysian street food restaurant (5 mins walk fr hotel). Also recommend The Park Restaurant, with a wide European menu. Quality food and service. Reservation recommended.

Size of bathroom. Could be better designed. The bathroom was so small the door barely close without hitting the sink. The hotel elevator was small and really slow and only one was working.

Amazing location and lovely rooms.

I was actually quite disappointed with the hotel breakfast and how they were towards allergies/intolerances. I called up before arriving to discuss being gluten free and was told this would be added to the notes. Staff in the breakfast area were lovely but they didn’t know what gluten was and were guessing which items I could and couldn’t have (e.g. I was asked if I could eat eggs). There weren’t many gluten free options available and there was a high risk of cross contamination because of the buffet. They were also out of gluten free bread on the second day and I was told I’d need to wait until their delivery arrived. I’d previously had an amazing experience with Hilton London Kensington and assumed there would be some consistency across the chain.

Location is amazing. Right across from Hyde Park and the tube station next door. The neighborhood is walkable and there is anything one might need or want within 19-15 minutes. Breakfast was varied and quite good and the staff is always professional and helpful. The rooms are ample with tea kettle and sunroom coffee. Bathrooms areodern and the toiletries of food quality. This is our spot when we're in London and we'll be back as we use London as a base when vacationing abroad.

Bed linens were thin and pillows flat and uncomfortable.

Location

1. We booked from the 8 th to the 14 th. Informed the hotel that we would arrive on the 9 th morning from Australia,when we arrived at the hotel the room was not ready inspite of being charged for it. We find this practice very very disappointing. 2.Sound proofing of the room was inadequate, could hear the tv or radio from the adjacent room at 2 Am in the morning. 3. The bed was very uncomfortable and we did bring it to their notice. They supplied a topping which helped.
