The decor and relaxed atmosphere. The high standard of the food and the service. The comfort of the bed, and location of light switches and plug sockets. The over bed table was a useful touch. The shower room with toilet was well laid out and very clean.

There were some confusing things: Nowhere to plug kettle in except by bed, as the power brick on the table seemed unlikely to be rated for a kettle. Nowhere to put the hairdryer down, except on the floor, which was awkward. I didn’t need this, but the pillow alert for a deaf person to recognise the fire alarm had been left under the bed, with it’s cable trapped by a bed leg.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! My sister, who just graduated in cinema and theater, couldn’t have asked for a better place—it suited her perfectly! And the room we were given was truly UNIQUE, a great choice and strategically located for getting around the city, really well connected. In terms of cleanliness, the standard was excellent. Out of our 3-night stay, I only asked for the room to be cleaned twice, and both times it was done impeccably—special thanks to Adriana for her hard work and kindness! Very quiet hotel, very important :) Breakfast was another highlight. Compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at, this was the first time I really ate so well. There was a wide variety of products, and whenever something ran out, it was quickly restocked. Breakfast runs from 6:30 am to 10:00 am, so there’s plenty of time and food for everyone. Overall, I couldn’t be happier—you also made my sister’s stay extra special! Next time I’m in the area, I already know where I’ll be staying 😁 Thanks again from Simona and especially my sister Valentina :)

The only thing they didn’t have were hand towels. I asked if they had any, and they could only give me two bath mats: no problem at all, those worked just fine too :)

We had to walk several blocks from the train and arrived when it was dark out. We were a little concerned about safety and the location but we later came to appreciate being within walking and bus service to most tourist sites and the borough market that is close by. The rooms were quiet and we had all the amenities needed. They served a great breakfast and the staff were all helpful and friendly. The bathrooms are very wheelchair friendly for those who need it.

The rooms are dark. I would have liked more light. The hallways and the hotel are a bit dated but we did appreciate the updates to the rooms and the breakfast area and lobby.

We booked a twin room for me and my son. It wass comfortable and quiet, though I haven't given it exceptional - it's in London and so there's always some noise, particularly with the window open. The location is ideal for London Bridge and Borough Market. Breakfast is lovely - kept us going all day :) We were also allowed to leave our bags in reception on the day of departure till 5pm, which meant we didn't have to lug them around all day. The hotel is very popular with European people as it has a very European feel to it. I didn't hear any complaints.

Nothing - it was all so lovely. The staff are amazing. We've stayed here a few times now and this is always my first choice when staying in London. Perhaps if I'm being really picky, the hotel could get some decaf tea bags.

When ever we’ve been in London - we’ve used this gem of a hotel, great position for centre &next to Borough Market etc, the area just gets better & better. The hotel’s design is second to none - the eye is constantly drawn to all corners of this hotel to admire & give a nod to ibis’s style. Rooms astounded me over & over with the layout - being London size is at a premium but you will be astounded by the design & space giving you a feel of a room twice the size & combined with the fact that they are spotlessly clean along with a lovely bed ……. What’s not to like ! Not forgetting the wonderful polite & happy staff & delicious breakfast it’s too good to miss.

Having to leave ;)

What a lovely hotel! We were a group of friends staying for one night. The style of the hotel was just fantastic, loved the decor and theme, lots to look at. All the staff we came into contact with were so friendly and polite. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Beds were comfy and the room theme was a lovely touch. Very quiet in the hotel, no noise whatsoever. Breakfast was a great continental selection, food was fresh and plenty of options. Great location, easy walking distance to borough market, the river, tube stations. Would recommend and would definitely stay again

Our only comment would be at breakfast to have gluten free options away from Vegan options as we didn't have confidence the separate toaster hadn't been used for warming up vegan pancakes. It's also a good idea to cover gluten free options covered as people who are celiac just can't take the risk.

The location was brilliant, short walk to the riverside and and a short walk to the London Bridge underground, the view of the shard was amazing. Even from the room! Very close to borough market and lots restaurants. The staff were very inviting and helpful throughout our stay. They allowed us to go to the room early in the day- which was helpful for our luggage.

The breakfast, it was a continental breakfast. Lots of pastries but not too much variation. We ended up having to buy breakfast elsewhere- which was an expense we didn’t allow for. Some minor things in the room, holes in the blinds and very dusty hairdryer.

The theme of the hotel was interesting. The breakfast buffet was fresh and complete. The room would have been smallish for two people but was fine for one person with limited luggage. The location is excellent - plenty of good food options near by (Borough Market, DanDan, Casa Franga, etc.), straight subway access from St Pancras International, walking distance to Thames boardwalk and a lot of attractions.

The room had a few issues which were dealt with rapidly on the same day - safe wouldn’t lock, tv did not turn on. I had a hard time adjusting the temperature and opted to open and close the window instead.

Super eclectic hotel with movie theater themed decor. The free popcorn in the lobby was nice! The location was great. The breakfast was superb!

Rooms were on small side , especially the bathroom. No one greeted us when we arrived so it was a bit confusing. I asked a lady sitting by a baby grand where we were supposed to check in and she said- Oh I can check you in. I didn’t realize she was even an employee until that moment. It was 1:30pm when we arrived and we were told to come back at three. I asked her if we could leave our luggage and she said, “Well I’ll need to see if I can find a space to hold it, because these people(pointing to other man) have eight bags and I have limited space.” Not sure why that was my business? Um yes- you’re a hotel- there’s luggage involved- 🤣😘 I also felt the employees were underdressed given the beautiful lush velvet chairs and antique furniture.

The hotel was stylish and very welcoming. It was very clean and well-kept. The room was exactly what we wanted for the price we paid The location was excellent, being very close to borough market and a short walk to London Bridge underground entrance, but was very quiet at night

There was an issue with booking when we first arrived which I think was an issue with booking.com, however it was resolved quickly with the staff at the hotel. The breakfast had linited hot options but was very good continental breakfast, and there were plenty of gf options. A very minor criticism, the corridor outside our room was quite cold at night, this did not affect our room itself. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would return any time
