It’s in a prime location to Paddington Station which is why we chose it. Breakfast was very good for a continental. The room was very small for three adults, but that wasn’t a huge issue and it’s just the nature of staying in central London. It was a quiet location. It was very clean.

They don’t do bag storage for more than two bags. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything. It’s an older building so this is difficult to manage so it’s not entirely their fault. We were told on checkout that we could request a ‘quiet area’ next time. The 5th floor hallway is very narrow which was difficult to manage with large bags and there are lots of split levels with stairs. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have mobility issues. Their lower floors may be different though. The lifts were also tiny! The lift to the 5th floor was 2 people max, so we either had to do two trips, or use the other one to the 4th floor (which was a little bigger) and walk the rest of the way.

In a great location, feel safe walking around at night. Close to the tube and Paddington station. Very clean and all the staff were so lovely and very helpful.

The rooms were a little small but I expected that due to the type of building

Royal Eagle Hotel was located in the quiet and beautiful neighborhood of Paddington, close to Hyde park and to a very central underground station. We loved the location, the staff was friendly and helpful, especially the sweet lady that helped us with our breakfast. Breakfast costed only 9£ and it was worth it. Our room was a double in the basement which seemed a bit claustrophobic at first, but the daily cleaning of the room made it better. There is some room for improvement (walls had cracks and tab was clogged) but it was really clean so it made up for everything. We would definitely recommend it to friends and we will visit it again.

It was in the basement, window did not open because the bed was located right next to it, the window was wooden framed and it gave the impression that someone could open it from outside because it was kind of loose and on ground level with one other room but it was not a huge problem (imagine that we were two girls alone living there for five days so safety was our utmost priority).

The hotel is well located, just 200 mt from Paddington station. The staff was nice and skilled to satisfy my complaints thus changing my hot room located at the highest floor during my second day of stay. The lifts work very well and heavy baggage could be moved smoothily. Cleaness and breakfast were very good.

There are six steps to access the main entrance and no disability facilities with heavy baggage. The hotel has air conditioning only in the open spaces and in the rooms are provided fans. The fifth floor is very hot, despite fans. It is reachable only with one lift.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely perfect — right next to Paddington Station, which makes getting to and from the airport and other parts of the city incredibly easy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Nisha, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was excellent — everything was fresh, tasty, and beautifully prepared. The rooms are quite small, but the size was clearly stated at the time of booking, so there were no surprises. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again!

Great location, a short walk from paddington station. Room size a bit on the small size considering there were 3 single beds. Ensuite a little on the small size. Shower good and working well with plenty of hot water. Tea and coffee facilities and you could always ask for extra at reception. Bar area was small but was comfortable, reasonably priced for drinks as well. Was noisy at night, but this is London and it didn't put us off. Unfortunately no air conditioning but fan was provided. Breakfast a good choice of food including continental and cereals, toast etc. Would stay here again.

Small ensuite, room a little small for 3 single beds. Personally it should really be only 2 beds, third bed had no headboard!

Best customer care, the rooms are very clean every day we entered the room cleaned and super cleaned with new towels. The place is strategically located,it is a touristic area it is easy to access most touristic places with an underground train using Paddington Station we're they sell train tickets it is 3 minutes walk from Paddington train station they have elevators.loved it and so did my kids.l would still stay here.

No welcome water bottle in the room for travellers like other hotels so you better carry your own water.

The location and the cleanliness of the hotel. The friendliness of the staff and the choice of pastries available for the continental breakfast. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean - this is fabulous and the main hotel areas were also spotless! Well done to the Housekeeping team!!!

The room was very compact. I was a single occupant in a double room which suited me fine but if my husband had been with me - we would have been falling over each other due to lack of space. Also the pillows are very soft ( not my personal preference) but I didn't ask for replacement ones. Not all the lights worked in the room - one side of the lights behind the headboard were not working.

If you plan on going to London, definite recommendation for this hotel. It's not the cheapest option out there, but it damn well is good value for your money. Location of the hotel is wonderful. Staff was excellent, caring and very friendly. Beautiful interior. Single room is very small, but that's to be expected, perfect for a solo traveller. They offer a cold breakfast, so don't expect to have a full English. I loved my time there, I have nothing to complain, only wishing I could've stayed longer in London.

Didn't bother me, but if you're a light sleeper, I would recommend earplugs, especially the single rooms can get a bit noisy with the outside road noice, even though it is on a pretty quiet street all things considered.

Location and stuff :) The hotel is located in a perfect location, everything of “must see in London” is so easy to reach from this area. The hotel is only a 4/5 minute walk from the metro station Paddington which is perfectly connected to the city centre. ( 25-30min to Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Oxford Street, Camden market, etc. ) And almost forgot, you can walk to Hyde Park from the hotel in just 10 minutes :) And in the end, the staff is so friendly and always ready to help you. ( * if you choose the breakfast service from the hotel which is quite good you can have a great meal for money that you wouldn’t be able to cover if you’re eating out somewhere because the prices are quite high )

Functionality of rooms. The bed is very short, to the extent that our legs were hanging off them ( we are 170cm tall ) and the loose in the bathroom is quite impractical because it is very small and it is not possible to wash without splashing everything.
