Location was SO convenient, especially for the price. The room was small but the bed was large and comfortable. Soap smelled great, kettle didn’t work when I got there but was fixed or replaced quickly once I asked about it, and the staff were all very sweet and helpful. It was easy to store my luggage for the afternoon after checkout, and it was all in all a great experience!

I didn’t get a “do not disturb” sign to hang on my door, and housekeeping came by around 8:45/9am the first two mornings, while I was pretty desperately jet-lagged. I imagine they would have given me a sign if I had asked, though, and I just shouted out to please come back later, and all was fine!

Amazing location. Walkable to Soho / theatre district. Felt very safe even 3 women walking home at night

Very slow checkin and unfair q'ing system where you had to pick a line, rather than first come first served. The entrance is also difficult to find once at the address

The hotel was very comfortable, clean with fantastic access to tubes, buses etc. Our room was comfortable with everything you needed. The staff were very polite and helpful all in all a great stay.

I’ve given this hotel a 9/10 my in criticism and the only reason I didn’t mark a 10 is because of breakfast. The breakfast itself is lovely everything u could want. Cereals, pastries, full English, tea & coffee, juices, cheese & cold meat. However the ques are shocking as it’s a busy hotel also when I was there no jam was out. I did ask a member of staff who said there was some near the cereal (there wasn’t) but this is only a minor critique and I would 100% stay here again.

Location was perfect, within walking distance of Covent Garden, Carnaby, Oxford street etc., plenty of restaurants, supermarkets around the hotel and easy to find. The rooms was very clean and clearly newly renovated, beds were very comfortable, shower was nice too, enough space in the room. Breakfast was nice and varied although very noisy but that's to be expected with this kind of very big hotel. Coffee is only coffee by name, not taste. The rest was good (English breakfast was fine too). Downsides : - very very very loud at night. Not soundproof at all. The room was situated on the side with the London Pub and the entrance. Even with the window closed, you could hear everything. It is the case in most hotel/hostels in London, soundproof is non-existent in the city. I would suggest bringing earplugs if you hope to get some sleep. - the sink was nice but (a detail, that can become a bit annoying) is that the faucet is a bit too long and ends in the middle on the sink, if you want to wash your face, you have to try and fit it on the side otherwise you'll end up with a bump on your forehead 😅 and also you tend to have water splash all around the bathroom because of it.

We needed 3 separate beds. The triple room was perfect for us. We were comfortable and had plenty of room. We enjoyed the traditional breakfast to get our busy days started. The location was near a campus and the tube, making it easy to go anywhere in the city. I used a laundromat close to the hotel, which cut down on the amount of clothing needed for the trip.

The weather was nice during the time we travelled (5 days-late May, early June.) We needed to open the windows for comfort. The noise from events and the outdoor restaurant area was a bit noisy at times in the late evenings, but I still would have selected this hotel.

The reception staff were pleasant and efficient. We arrived early but were given a room immediately! I had also requested a quiet room, important to do that in advance. The room was clean and the bed large and very comfortable. There was no air conditioning but the windows opened with a safety catch and there was a fan in the room. The breakfast choice was exceptional and the staff in the buffet so helpful and friendly. There is a coffee house and a pub in the courtyard but the best thing is the location. You have busses on either side of the hotel taking you to almost anywhere in London and a tube station nearby.

This hotel is huge, and although given a floor plan with our room marked on it, we had difficulty finding our room. The corridors are endless, so if you make a wrong turn you walk for ages. Saying that there were cleaning staff all around who helped navigate! No fridge in the room and no coffee, only tea and milk! No a/c....

Very good location!! Underground station and bus stops close by. Also has restaurants around. Comfortable beds and there was a safe in the room.

We were still able to hear every traffic noise with the windows closed. We kept the windows open because it was very warm and there was no air conditioning, but because the windows were open the traffic was really loud. There was no fridge. The shower pressure was very low. And there was no hook to hang your towels, only a very small towel rack which was right next to the toilet. For reference, we were with 3 and were put in a room suited for disability, with a single bed and a double bed. Despite all of this I would definitely recommend!

Great location! The tube station is very very close. There are bus stations right outside the hotel that will take you literally everywhere. It’s a very safe neighborhood. And the thing I loved the most is that some major objectives are in walking distance from the hotel. The staff is very helpful and kind. The bed sheets were very clean, looked new. Overall we had a great stay. Great value for money.

The rooms could use some improvements. Some things look worn out. But it is a very busy hotel and it’s understandable. Yes, the rooms don’t have air conditioning, it is clearly advertised, they are upfront with this matter, but it was ok, we had a quiet room so we slept with the window opened, slept great.

Positives: 1) great location; 2) the room view; 3) the friendly staff in the corridors ; 4) next to the city sleeper...(quiet on one side); 5) the vibe and atmosphere; 6) a bath and shower; 7) the courtyard & lights; 8) checking-in was swift - obviously English; 9) the lifts were close-by...10) a hotel for all - young or old, stag/hen parties...footie...etc...11) well-run massive hotel...12) could have been worse Negatives: 1) minor niggle - toilet roll pulls over, not under; 2) lack of sockets - one double socket....no usb; 3) while check-in was a doddle, leaving luggage in the basement was a no-go after checking out after seeing the queue; 4) no fridge; 5) going green by saving water (towel on the rail etc), yet heating was on...6) the TV was too small & old school relay ...7) the taps in the sink moved...8) the bath was built for a rocket man! 9) the palava of the TV...10)

room was small by US standards, but probably pretty standard in the UK. Beds were very comfortable. everything was clean. Staff was prompt in any requests we had, cleaning room, leaving towels. I know this was a huge hotel and great price but it was odd there was no luxuries in the lobby area, no where for people to sit and linger. The phone in our room was out of order but we didn't really need it so I didn't request a change. Requested iron and it was brought up but had to remind one time.
