Location was SO convenient, especially for the price. The room was small but the bed was large and comfortable. Soap smelled great, kettle didn’t work when I got there but was fixed or replaced quickly once I asked about it, and the staff were all very sweet and helpful. It was easy to store my luggage for the afternoon after checkout, and it was all in all a great experience!

I didn’t get a “do not disturb” sign to hang on my door, and housekeeping came by around 8:45/9am the first two mornings, while I was pretty desperately jet-lagged. I imagine they would have given me a sign if I had asked, though, and I just shouted out to please come back later, and all was fine!

Amazing location. Walkable to Soho / theatre district. Felt very safe even 3 women walking home at night

Very slow checkin and unfair q'ing system where you had to pick a line, rather than first come first served. The entrance is also difficult to find once at the address

Location was perfect, within walking distance of Covent Garden, Carnaby, Oxford street etc., plenty of restaurants, supermarkets around the hotel and easy to find. The rooms was very clean and clearly newly renovated, beds were very comfortable, shower was nice too, enough space in the room. Breakfast was nice and varied although very noisy but that's to be expected with this kind of very big hotel. Coffee is only coffee by name, not taste. The rest was good (English breakfast was fine too). Downsides : - very very very loud at night. Not soundproof at all. The room was situated on the side with the London Pub and the entrance. Even with the window closed, you could hear everything. It is the case in most hotel/hostels in London, soundproof is non-existent in the city. I would suggest bringing earplugs if you hope to get some sleep. - the sink was nice but (a detail, that can become a bit annoying) is that the faucet is a bit too long and ends in the middle on the sink, if you want to wash your face, you have to try and fit it on the side otherwise you'll end up with a bump on your forehead 😅 and also you tend to have water splash all around the bathroom because of it.

Positives: 1) great location; 2) the room view; 3) the friendly staff in the corridors ; 4) next to the city sleeper...(quiet on one side); 5) the vibe and atmosphere; 6) a bath and shower; 7) the courtyard & lights; 8) checking-in was swift - obviously English; 9) the lifts were close-by...10) a hotel for all - young or old, stag/hen parties...footie...etc...11) well-run massive hotel...12) could have been worse Negatives: 1) minor niggle - toilet roll pulls over, not under; 2) lack of sockets - one double socket....no usb; 3) while check-in was a doddle, leaving luggage in the basement was a no-go after checking out after seeing the queue; 4) no fridge; 5) going green by saving water (towel on the rail etc), yet heating was on...6) the TV was too small & old school relay ...7) the taps in the sink moved...8) the bath was built for a rocket man! 9) the palava of the TV...10)

Nice bathroom and very good located with many public transport options nearby. The bed while was consisting of two single beds, it must be the best one of these types I ever seen being used. No issues with it splitting or anything. Comfy bed and extra pillows which was much appreciated. Ability to store luggages for an extra trip to the city before catching a flight.

Sound proofing doesn't exist. I have issues sleeping in noisy environment so I had brought him me my earbuds which helped a lot. A room for two people had only one chair and a small table. I would have expected at least two chairs. Groups of people shouting, laughing and being loud doesn't help it conjunction with the absence of sound proofing. Check in process takes time be prepared. Check out was quick and easy.

I am normally disappointed when I stay in London and when I read some reviews of the RNH I was expecting more of the same but it exceeded my expectations. It isn't a luxury hotel. There isn't a sauna in the basement or a rooftop swimming pool but my room (standard double) was spacious and clean, the bathroom was actually big enough that you had to step from the shower to the wash basin rather than having to shuffle around in a confined space.

The bathroom was so big that you can't use the toilet and brush your teeth at the same time. When I checked in I enquired about the breakfast but I decided that there are so many places around about that I wouldn't take it, at which point the receptionist gave me a wry smile and said "that's probably a wise decision". Therefore, I suspect that the breakfast is typical London hotel fare of burnt croissants and deep fried sausages; but that isn't a problem because there are so many places to choose from within 5 minutes of the hotel.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. Ten minute walk from Euston station, and a 2 min walk to the Russell Square tube station. Room was very clean and spacious. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious! Huge choice of foods, both cooked and continental breakfast. Breakfast room was always busy, but everything was kept topped up, even when going in towards the end. The reception area is spotless and very welcoming. There are 2 lovely resturants/bar areas within the hotel too. The hotel is very busy, but staff work hard to keep things ticking over.

There was no thermostat, so no way of adjusting the temperature in the room. The noise from the street outside was awful. Apparently, there are quieter rooms, but we didn't know to ask for one. We thought the window was open when we arrived due to how noisy it was. Trying to get a lift down to reception at check out time is impossible. We waited 25 minutes, then had to lift heavy cases down 3 flights of stairs.

Asked for the iron and fan: these were brought to my room along with the ironing board in no time. Breakfast not worth 15GBP, there are plenty food options for every taste and dietary preference just around the corner.

Didn't want the staff to clean up the room while I was staying there, asked to just change the towels at the reception. Nothing happened. Had to find the room service cart and change the towels myself.

I requested a refrigerator for my medicine and the hotel provided it. I also put a couple of things in the refrigerator (a small thing of milk as they only provided tiny sachets - and some leftovers). Came back to the hotel after a day out and the refrigerator had been unplugged. A note was left on the bed stating it was only to be used for medicine and they could not see any - only food (my medicine was in there but in a small syringe). I took a photo of my medicine in the fridge and went and complained that it was probably compromised. The manager said I must have unplugged the fridge myself! I checked it when I got back to the room and the plug needed force to pull out so I believe the housekeeping team unplugged it believing I was only using it for food. From that day, housekeeping also stopped emptying the rubbish and removing dirty mugs. I still gave a decent review score as - had my medicine not been an issue, the hotel was nice and in a great location.

The location is great near to all important attractions. The beds are very comfortable. The room was very clean when we arrived. The bathroom is small but very well laid out, so the shower is large and was a pleasure every morning. The only downside was the roommaid or boy who knocked very early every morning (around 8.00am) and asked if the room should be cleaned. I felt sorry for our room neighbour because he opened while still very sleepy because he was woken up by the knocking and didn't know what to say. Perhaps he only arrived at night or had gone out the night before? All in all, we had a very pleasant stay.
