Location at Paddington is excellent - we travel to London quite a lot and stay in this area specifically because of its location to the main lines.

Beds - but I think beds can always be better no matter where you stay. Prices were a lot higher for this particular weekend because Taylor Swift was in town - which we were not even seeing! Booked for a couple of weeks time for 3 people and it was cheaper than this last weekend for 2!!!!!! Have to say it was not just this hotel, but as a regular you do feel a little let down and taken advantage of, but business is business.

The room was fine, facilities worked, they provide a boiler for a cup of tea and they also provide instant coffee and sugar. Clean linens enough pillows. It was fresh, I used the heater very little. I kept my window a bit open. The room had a bathroom and shower (there are rooms that do not have one and use a shared bathroom) The room has a working TV and plenty of power outlets. You don't even need a converter because they have USB ports for charging. The room also had a small refrigerator.I just needed a place to sleep and store my things. It worked out well.

The building, and all the buildings in that area of Paddington, have a serious handicap: the trains in the station make the entire building shake when they pass. I sleep very soundly an I only heard the earthquake when I was falling asleep and when I woke up. Again, I only used the hotel to sleep and store my things. It's a good option. But if noise bothers you a lot, this "small" detail could ruin your stay.

Its in a very good location and it's quite close to city centre and nearby transport routes. The room was nice and the staff that we did interact with were very kind, they called us a taxi after checkout to take us to the train station which was very kind of them. During out stay there was a fire drill which was quite useful as it meant we knew where the fire point was in case of an actual fire although the alarm was weird and it was hard to tell that it was the fire alarm. I have seen a few reviews taking about how the underground was annoying and people weren't aware of it before stay but I found that I didn't mind it and it was very easy to get used to so I think it's all up to personal preference.

The room was a bit on the small size but for the price of it I can't really complain - the bathroom had a step to get into it which was a little weird and i did almost fall a few times forgetting about it.

Close to Paddington Station. About 15-20 minute walk to Hyde Park. Friendly staff on reception

Decor and furnishings a bit dated

Very nice hotel in a beautiful building and an excellent location, very close to Paddington Station in a quiet side street. Room small but spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet, fully sufficient for my needs. Staff very friendly. Excellent breakfast and good organization throughout. I had a technical problem in my room during my stay that was swiftly solved. I can certainly recommend this hotel and will definitely seek it out again for my next stay in London.

Staircases are steep and there is no lift, which was not a problem for me despite my room being on the 4th floor because I carried just small luggage. Anyhow, there is no way to change this and it made no difference for my evaluation. However, people with large pieces of luggage might struggle if they have rooms on the upper floors.

The location is amazing. 15 minutes of walking to the Hyde Park and the same for Regent Park. The pillow, however, of the bed wasn't so comfortable. They could have used two pillows of those for each bed. Other than this it was a nice hotel and good staff.

- Location. - Workers. - Good wifi covering. - Services and facilities ( vending machines and water fountain)

The lovely man at reception was soooo nice. He couldn't do enough for us. Older gentleman with grey longish hair. Unfortunately didn't get his name. He was the stand out member of staff and so many could learn from him. The location was perfect. The room was fine and for the price was good value. Breakfast was ok and again value for money.

There was nothing I didn't like. I have stayed here twice now.

This hotel ticked all the boxes for me. Super close to Paddington Station, clean, extremely helpful and friendly staff, all the facilities I required. The price also suited my budget. I liked it so much that I cancelled another reservation to spend another night here. NB: My requirements do not include the latest decor or included breakfast. For me, this was exactly right.

One can hear the trains at times. I don't mind as I am used to city sounds, but noise sensitive people should ask before making a reservation.

I thought that this hotel was a bit of a hidden gem. The decor of the hotel is great and you get a sense of character. There's a full English breakfast available which was good, and also freshly made waffles in the continental. Location wise it's a short walk from Paddington station, which is ideal. The bathroom was small but modern.

The room itself was pretty small. Not out of kilter for rooms in London and it was certainly alright for me. I did also find the water pressure to be a tad on the low side. Overall I really did like the hotel though, I'd stay again.

My room was perfect for what I needed during my stay. So convenient to Paddington station, it made getting around London so easy. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. The team serving breakfast were amazing, with more food than you could possibly eat available. If you struggle with stairs be sure to ask for a ground floor room, but I liked the exercise.
