The room was serviceable as a place to make camp for a small city break. It is incredibly affordable for what you get. It's also located in a great place being so close to Princess Street and Oxford Road.

We were encouraged to go for a drink/meal at the onsite restaurant, however, when we went, there were no staff anywhere to be found to serve us so we ended up leaving after waiting a little while. When we returned back to the hotel early in the morning, we had to buzz to get in, we were asked if we were staying with them and we said yes. However, no checks were made or anything so anyone could have easily walked in, it didn't seem particularly secure.

Good hotel in a convenient location and well priced. The bed was comfy, the shower was powerful, the towels were fluffy and the breakfast was excellent.

The hotel was really warm, even though the weather was cool - my room was pretty stifling, and even the breakfast room was too hot. I noticed the staff all had plug-in fans, so I presume this is a long term issue. I'm glad I wasn't staying there during a heatwave! Also, if you are a light sleeper note that the soundproofing is pretty poor - I was woken up lots of times by doors banging in the corridor outside my room.

Everything was brilliant. Staff were so friendly. The location was perfect for us. Rooms well equipped. Very comfy bed. Lovely bathroom. Hotel design was fab with an awesome pendulum hanging in the centre of the hotel. ❤️ Really lovely cooked breakfast 😋 Toiletries provided were good quality and really nice. Tea, coffee, etc. was the good stuff.

Two points lost for the following: Rooms were a little small. Plug sockets all on one side corner of the room, so I couldn't access near me in bed, which was a little annoying as use a cpap machine, so I had to top and tail in bed with my husband! And use a chair near where my head was to use it. Lol Also, desperately needed air conditioning in the room as it was hot, although they did provide us with a fan, which was great. A mini fridge would have been helpful to keep some cans of pop. Shower was good but toilet pressure was not as good, had to flush several times just to flush toilet paper.

Lovely stay for a reasonable price, a small price to pay for luxury. I requested 2 mirrors in the room, one being full body length. My request was granted and the room was very big with a double and single bed, I was only expecting one double bed. Staff really friendly, helped us close our window when we couldn’t manage ourselves to prevent us getting cold. Plenty of towels in the room for two of us, good water pressure. We didn’t eat here but the food on the menu in the room looked delicious, they even offer room service and late. I would recommend and stay here again in the future. Thank you.

The staff were great. The bedroom was comfortable and an excellent bed. Generally very quiet although very convenient for Piccadilly Station, the Metro and the city centre is a short walk away.

Completely overpriced. We used the hotel for a concert at the Co-oP live. There were two other major events in the city on the same day. I understand completely the need to optimise revenue when unique opportunities arise but we paid a premium of around £140 for a one night stay. I compared the hotel rate for the same day a week later with no special events. The hotel is not built or geared up for the expectations of a room rate around £220.00. I would happily pay £120-£150 for the quality and staff care and attention.Perhaps a change in rate management strategy marketing regularly in the £120-£150 range rather than £220-£80/90 range dependent on city events

I was in a quiet area or I was just lucky this time, I don't know but this time there was no unwanted noises in the corridors, housekeeping didn't wake me up too. Coffee in the room Big spacious and clean room Free drink with a main meal at the restaurant

Room didn't have blackout curtains The food at the restaurant is not cooked fresh by a Chef, just warmed up by someone working their shift Reception staff could be more welcoming and happy to see a customer maybe, they are very professional don't get me wrong, but a bit cold for me, maybe that's because I'm a latino and we greet people with a smile always no matter how our day has been or even if we don't like our job much

Booked for one night. Great location just on the edge of city centre 5 mins walk to Canal Street /Sackville Street / University area. Some beautiful buildings nearby. Nice looking hotel, big, spacious, light and clean room with good basic facilities. Staff were polite and professional. Good choice of breakfast options. Window opened out which was nice on sunny warm morning. Nice fluffy white towels and comfortable bed.

Shower wall fixture was very odd. Shower head would not slot in and hang straight and only pointed to shower curtain. Therefore had to hold shower over me. Curtains too short and let in too much light. A few scuffs and marks on walls and carpet.

The location is 11 minute walk from Piccadilly or short cab ride. Walkable distance to Appollo. Staff were friendly, helpful and looked like they loved working there.. Some say rooms are small, I don't agree.ours was a perfect size. Breakfast was beautiful, well cooked, well presented, lots of choice. Buffet breakfast but you can order a la carte. Breakfast staff were happy and very helpful. Made you feel at home. The Garden Bar is lovely place to have drink or eat. Prices not expensive in particular for city centre hotel. Great price for one night and free welcome drink with a main course.. We will most definitely return and will recommend to all our families and friends. Need to add the pendulum at reception running through the hotels floors is fascinating plus the man sitting by entrance

No lamp by bed. I love to read of a night. Small issue though compared to the high standards of this fabulous hotel.

The room was most adequately furnished. Liked the nice office chair in front of a nice working table. Iron and ironing board came in handy. Generous supply of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits. There was plenty of the latter. The domestic staff happily replenished these at request. The shower was fantastic for its copious hot water and power. It was like showering in a car wash! Fantastic! The heating in the room is electric, and I asked for help with how to adjust heating. Help arrived within 2 minutes at 11pm! On site restaurant and bar is fit for purpose, and prices are not extortionate. If you are attending a conference at conference centre as I was, the convenience is unbeatable.

Arriving by car, I was a bit miffed there wasn't an alighting space for cars. So, I had to park illegally in front of the hotel on double yellows to carry in my luggage. The 2 hr car parking spaces there are almost always taken. Took my car to the prescribed NCP car park. Was not entirely pleasant walking in the rain the 150 metres to the front of the hotel.

The room was lovely. We were upgaded to what they said was the best room in the hotel. We were near a ramp for a university traffic but as the w/e, no traffic and so very quiet. the bed was very comfortable and as many towels as we wanted

for the second year running, the television didn't work. Last year they moved us rooms but it was faff even though as not fully unpacked. This year we had the television checked on saturday but arrived friday , so too late to move rooms. Not essential but good to have it working
