The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The hot tub in our room filled up quickly and stayed nice and hot.

The area around the hotel is sketchy. When we showed up to check in, there had been a shooting at the gas station right next door and the cops had it blocked off. The location of the hotel is the only thing I did not like. And unfortunately it's not anything they can really control. Although I have stayed here twice and the first time was uneventful.

It was located close to everything we wanted to do and then some, in a safe feeling area. The manager was PHENOMENAL and so incredibly kind and helpful. The room was clean and smelt clean. The bed… was SO comfortable. Literally better than any bed I’ve slept on including my own bed to the point I had to find out what kind of bed it was. I’ve never been drawn to use any certain hotel but between the location, price, manager, and just everything about it I’d make it my go to place I use when I need a hotel in that area.

The only negative thing I would say what so ever is yes the place does smell like weed, the first floor is the worst but that’s to be expecting in a cheaper hotel in downtown STL. Even that tiny complaint wouldn’t keep me from making that my go to hotel for our trips.

Rooms were clean and better than expected. Beds were clean and comfy. Breakfast was lacking but it was good. The room felt safe because the bathroom door can be used to barricade your room door.

The out side location seemed sketchy. Hole in hotel window appeared to be a bullet hole? Fix that. It's concerning. Walls were paper thin. Heard disrespectful thugs in the next room like they were in my room. Maybe try to put a few rooms between guest when your not busy. Lobby smelled of Pot an oranges. Yuck smell

The room was really clean it had amenities that a weekly traveler would need for a home away from home. It was very quiet near the arch. Also I was able to focus and get online schooling completed while I stayed there. The only downfall was there weren't A lot of options close to eat main restaurants 14 miles etc. Also the subway across carrie Ave you have to walk up to can not get in loves lot it's kept barricaded off. Sketchy convenient store by loves. Don't be alarmed there's a guy that washes windshields for money real nice not trying to mug you 😉

Has to pay extra to to get keys before my schedule appointment altho I said online what time I was coming cz I had something else to do but it was worth it though

it’s in the ghetto low key and staff member who checked me in not only left my signed paper receipt with all of my info on it on the counter for the world to see for the entire hour I realized that he also hadn’t gave me the change I was owed for my room. upon finding my receipt when I went to inquire about my change from the 120$ I gave to pay the night of stay that I didn’t receive and he immediately goes to a drawer and pulls out the 17$ that was now paper clipped to a hand written note made by the worker himself indicating I’d forgotten my change and he even went as far to spell my last name incorrectly I believe to be able to deny me that money had I not remembered before going to sleep. complete unsatisfactory there as well as the owner lady “housekeeper” walking in without knocking at 1030 am say housekeeping. I was naked, check outs at 11 wth I chose to rate 5 stars on previous asked questions on this survey because this isn’t the worlds buisness to know about my incident there as this hotel suites a lot of people from the city and travelers and their continued support of payin taxes in our city

The taste of the water was not the best but I had a nice room and the bed was very so soft I slept like a log!

We were ok with the location. I can see how some people would think it a bad neighborhood but everyone was friendly. I felt completely safe. Close to the interstate.

Only that they were always out of coffee in the mornings.

The room was amazing. Gorgeous. The bed, holy cow....if I could have brought it home with me, that would have made me so happy! So comfortable! I didn't want to leave. The makeover of the room is astounding. In regards to the staff....the young lady with long braids at the check in desk was wonderful! She was so sweet and nice. So pleasant and it was a pleasure to have her there checking us in. I would stay here again. Despite the location, the front desk clerk and the room were major A++'s for me.

I hate to say it but the location. We parked under a light in the hopes of our car being safer. Thankfully nothing happened to him but still, we were worried. The neighborhood is less than desirable. The surrounding area is not the best what so ever. I would personally advise one to stay in your room after the sun goes down. The lovely young lady with the braids at check in and the amazing room and comfy bed made up for it though. The only other thing I didn't like was the fact that the shower head didn't put put much water because most of the water was coming out of the faucet still but I was happy to have more than enough hot water, so there's that.

It was peaceful. And very clean on the inside. If I have to go back to that area I will be booking with them. Great lighting in the rooms, but I wish they had a lamp since I had kids who don't like the dark.

I will say the parking lot felt safe but you can tell people broke a bunch of glass bottles in the parking lot.
