The room was very large with 2 comfortable beds. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. The location was fairly close to the airport and the Arrowood train station was just a short drive away to get into the city. This was a good alternative to avoid the traffic and looking for a parking spot in the city.

Like most hotels/motels, the breakfast was served on paper plates with plastic fork, knife and spoon. I think hotels in this category should do more for the environment. I think we as hotel guests should make it clear to the hotels that this is not acceptable.

Very pleasant stay. When we checked everyone in the front desk was very nice and attentive which was a green flag and good first impression of the hotel. When we arrived at our room it was clean and presentable. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The name of the hotel sums it up perfectly, it’s an EXPRESS hotel. I would say this is an overall great hotel to spend the night as it is 20 min away to Uptown Charlotte, 8 minutes away from the Premium Outlets and 10 minutes away from Southwest mall. I would recommend if you’re looking for a decent nearby hotel at a reasonable price!

The only reason it’s not a 10/10 is because the breakfast was not good. I’ve stayed at a bunch of other hotels with different prices and they’ve all served decent breakfasts. The food here was eatable but not tasty. I think this hotel is mainly meant to just stay the night!

This was one of the very best hotels we have ever stayed in..from the pretty building's front entrance it even got better inside... greetings,smiles,clean room (bed/pillows felt so cozy;us short people could use a bed ladder lol)no traffic noise, breakfast hot,well prepared & more important is the sweet lady who did it all(she deserves a raise-- she even mopped with a smile on her face!)the hotel is closed to #77 interstate, restaurants,etc .we went to Atrium health care and even with traffic made it there within 20-25 mins.. would recommend this hotel highly.we would rather be in a clean,friendly place like this than a no-smile high-rise

I've always stayed at this hotel due to how close it is to the Operation Christmas Child facility, restaurants, and it's not too far from a large shopping mall. This trip my stay was to attend a conference with my area team. Everything was great, as always. Staff were friendly and helpful as always. The room is clean, comfortable, and quiet, as always. Breakfast is good. Highly recommend staying at this location.

The elevator! This hotel could benefit by adding another elevator. The elevator could be upgraded to be faster and more room. It's too slow compared to other elevators I've experienced at other hotels. If this location does this one upgrade, it would make a huge difference for guests. I wish they would accept small pets. I like to travel with my chihuahuas. But this location doesn't accept pets.

The ladies on staff were great. They made sure all questions were answered and were very polite. The breakfast was good and there were some good options.

The things that I didn't like were out of the control of the staff, but some of the other guest should be considerate of those around them. There was a group that was in the hall at around 3:30-4 am talking loudly. They were loud enough for me to wake up out my sleep and say some choice words. The other thing was the group of boys that were being rough in the pool without consideration for my girls that were in the pool. My girls just decided that they would leave and go back to the room.

The king size bed was so comfortable! I liked that I could control the temperature of the room. The room itself was quite clean. All of the front desk staff with whom we interacted were very friendly and helpful.

The housekeeping staff took our used towels and towel mat (for the floor) away after the first night, but did not replace them for our second night --so we were short on towels and a mat and had to share :(

Location was great. I definitely enjoyed the variety of the food offered that was great. I just wasn’t a fan of the eggs kind of watery and I also thought that the biscuits could’ve been fresher.

So I stayed in a room And the window was cloudy and I really couldn’t see out of it. Also I was in a room with a washcloth that was stained with something red on it so it made me question the overall cleanliness of the entire room if they would leave a stained wash cloth in there.

Friendly staff the beds were super comfortable I felt like I slept in a cloud. One night we got in really late after a concert. We were starving and got a few soups from the enmarket they have. So convenient to have available to us. Super accomodating staff. My kid loved being able to use the pool no matter how the weather was outside.

I loved the breakfast, pool, and look of everything. The staff was extremely nice and generous helping my 4 kids make hot chocolate whenever they asked.

I wish the pool opened sooner so my kids could play before we left. It does open at a reasonable time at 9, but we had to leave before then.

Breakfast was delicious and had so many great options! The room was comfortable and not cramped. Staff was all very friendly!

Our bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked. There was some hair left on the tub/shower and floor. The pool was in bad need of chemicals when we stayed. It was extremely cloudy
