The location was excellent! Exactly what we were looking for. The hotel was clean and modern. The beds were comfortable - we all slept well. It had what we needed for a decent price (compared to other hotels). The staff were nice and helpful.

The extra fees nearly doubled the cost of the stay, but the overall price was still okay. We checked out today, so are waiting to get the security deposit back. There weren’t a lot of frills, but we didn’t spend tons of time at the hotel anyway, and it had what we needed.

The 49.50$ amenity fee. It felt like that was just thrown in with the taxes etc. As I was only staying one night, the amount I paid for those “extras” wasn’t not a good value but by I wasn’t able to waive them. When looking g for a hotel it’s nice to know the full cost up front

Came here for my sister bach party and everyone had a great time! This hotel is perfect for large groups and the staff was super helpful and kind.

The only issue was the hidden fees at check-in. Even though booking.com claimed all fees were included, I still had to pay an extra 200 at check-in for extra tax fees.

Stay in an odd numbered room so you’re not on the subway tracks side of the building. Forced to pay $50. for 1 yr membership, and 15 percent fee.

The staff was really nice and attentive! The amenities were good and the room was unique and comfy! The whole vibe of the hotel was really cool and the fact that the rooms felt nice and private with little to no sound bleeding in from the next rooms, so the room feels nice and cozy! You aren't that far from public transportation.

There were some minor details about the room, like the fact that the bathroom door didn't quite close fully, or that the extractor in the bathroom was so loud that it made it a bit annoying to have it on. Some of the hotel amenities are very unclear on how to obtain, so it feels like you end up losing them, and also there is an additional fee per day for them. Despite not being that far from rail stations or bus stops, it still takes 20 to 30 minutes to get to anything major around the city, unless you're driving yourself or taking rideshares, so do prepare to walk a bit!

The rooms and ambiance were very unique and well done. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Clean and spacious rooms at a reasonable price, especially for being in downtown Chicago. Small on-site bar which is convenient if needed.

It is located right beside the L-train. Fortunately, my room was on the opposite side of the hotel and I could never actually hear the trains rolling by. However, my colleague who traveled with me had a room on the side of the hotel that faced the train, and she could definitely hear each and every train that rolled through during the night. DEFINITELY REQUEST A ROOM ON THE SIDE OF THE HOTEL NOT FACING THE TRAIN AT CHECK-IN!!!!

I loved all the creativity - art on the walls, etc. I also loved the neat room set up, with the one queen bed and the high bunk beds above us. The bathroom was nice. The room lived up to my expectations.

I dont' like that I was charged a $40 resort fee, when there isn't even a pool or anything that seems worth that cost. I don't even drink alcoholic drinks, but if I did, $40 would be a lot to pay for a couple small bottles of alcohol.
