We love the location and view here. It's close great restaurants, has a beautiful level walk out to Tomaree Head, and the beach is great for swimming.

The rooms are a little dated now but they are always clean so we don't mind. We also think it is overpriced in the high season, so only stay here outside those times.

Hotel was located across the road from beach. All Reception staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming which for me always sets a precedent has to how my stay is going to go. The room was extremely clean, well stocked with tea, coffee, milk and herbal tea and very spacious. In my room, I had microwave, kettle, hob, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Bathroom had jacuzzi bath and separate shower cubicle. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided. Hairdryer on the wall in bathroom. The bed was very comfortable which was bliss for my 2 night stay. The balcony was very much used for my evening and morning relaxation and spectacular view of The Bay. The hotel offer free shuttle service into neighbouring towns at set times. I used this and it was always prompt. The hotel was perfect for my stay.

I do not have anything negative to say about the Hotel.

Location of the resort was outstanding. View from balcony was stunning, stayed in 1 bed Apt. Location was facing the beach front with shops, cafes, bar and restaurants all within walking distance. Pool area was large with plenty of sun beds. Parking available in secure carpark. We attended a wedding in the Country Club, so accommodation location was perfect.

Kitchen renovations. Could hear construction work but really wasn't too much of an inconvenience (view from the balcony made up for it). The apt itself was dated, and the bedroom was quite small, with not a lot of room for luggage.

Location was great adjacent to Shoal Bay Country Club. They do a great breakfast at Mermaids. Apartment itself was massive, 3 bed 2 bathroom plus powder room, huge kitchen and a decent size fridge for the space. We were 2 couples and loved the space. Furnishings were exceptional. Bathrooms were fabulous. Air con was great too.

Not really a water view unless you were on the balcony. For such a massive apartment I felt that the bedrooms (at least the 2 double rooms) should have had a tv. for some reason there was a second tv in the dining area, which was open to the living space which already had a big smart tv. Didn't make sense at all. If both tv's were on you would here them over each other. Electrics had issues. The lights were weird, and flickered. No rhyme or reason to the switches in the living space. Coffee machine was not working properly, hit and miss.

The location was perfect for our weekend plans..the staff were happy and friendly on arrival even though it was peak hour for them.. Parking was easy.. After we arrived in our apartment we received a call from front desk checking that everything was ok and advised me that if we require anything to please call.. Everything was clean and tidy and there was 4 pillows to choose from on the bed...bonus for me.. There was even a couple of beach towels in case you wanted to take a swim and didn't bring a towel.. Kitchen was equipped well.. Milk tea and coffee was provided.. Cafe's, restaurant, beach all on your doorstep..

Really wasn't anything that I could think of

The facilities at the resort are great. Pools gym etc. plus the location so close to shops, restaurants and the shoal bay county club.

Our room was so nice especially the view, but the balcony mustn’t have been vacuumed or mopped from previous guests that left sand all over the balcony and therefore when we went out on it we brought in all the sand that hadn’t been cleaned up into the apartment. We had to keep our shoes on while walking in side or constantly wiping our feet of sand. To be so close to the beach I would have thought this would be a top priority to make sure it’s throughly cleaned after each guest leaves.

The view of the water and the mountains from the room is so beautiful. The room is spacious, comfortable, clean and very functional. The location is perfect with everything you need next door, great restaurants to choose from with good quality food and exceptional service. The heated pools and spas are clean and warm for relaxing after long walks. All the staff in the resort and restaurants have a very high standard of customer service and are friendly and helpful.

It would be good to have some cover on the top floor balconies of the heritage building allowing use when wet or very hot.

Room 601 (3 bedroom water view) was amazing. Very spacious, room was clean and well equipped. Plenty of seating indoors and out. Close to the Country Club and other dining options (even though the room had a full kitchen and BBQ so you could definitely self cater for the whole visit). Staff were very friendly and professional at all times!

Air conditioning was not working on the day we arrived but reception sent maintenance as soon as we advised them. It was fixed within a few hours. Room furnishing being light in colour were stained from use, but also meant I didn’t have to worry too much about kids sitting on them. Overall nothing that would stop me from staying there again.

Location, location, location. Close to everything (you don't need to drive anywhere). Room was large, clean and comfortable. View was stunning! Staff were all amazing. So many things to do on site (pools, games room, restaurants, cafes) and a great IGA next door. Loads to do in the area (we went on a great Quad Bike adventure and dolphin watching). Food , view and vibe at the Country Club was awesome 👌

Lounge area was huge but the lounge itself was very small and uncomfortable. The air conditioner in our room wasn't working well but front desk and maintenance staff were super helpful trying to get it fixed as soon as possible.

Our apartment was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Air conditioning worked well. Beds comfortable. Great view. Pool was clean with plenty of space to relax. Once we parked our car we didn’t use it again until we left. Beach was across the road, a well stocked IGA Supermarket close by and so many great restaurants within walking distance. Zenith was our favourite.

Didn’t like the bath/shower. It was a bit awkward for us to get in and out and didn’t feel safe. Will see about getting a room with seperate shower next time. No information was given to us about where to dispose of our rubbish although when I messaged reception to enquire a very polite young man called me straight away to let me know. Would have liked more information available on the checkout process . Only found out at the last minute we could keep the card to exit the car park and place in a box. Finding the reception to check in was a little confusing as google maps kept taking is to the bottle shop around the corner.
