I loved the location. It was close to all forms of transport and the walking distance to all the venues we needed was very manageable. I liked how the beds allowed for the luggage to be stored underneath so it acted like a draw and we didn't have to step around our stuff. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was great having an iron and ironing board to freshen up our clothes after being squashed in our luggage. The little fridge was perfect for a few snacks and milk for our tea and coffee.

The shower was quite small and the gap under the shower door meant that the foot towel was absolutely saturated after each shower. There was a lot of dust under the bed which made it's way out into the room when we slid our suitcases in and out. I wore my thongs the majority of the time when in the unit so I didn't drag dust into the bed. I would have loved a disposable shower cap in the bathroom as all four us ladies have long hair. The kettle in Room 612 didn't work so my daughter came in to our room to borrow ours.

We were in town for an event and decided to be tourists for a few extra days, and the location was perfect for this! The only public transport we used were ferries since nearly everything else was in easy walking distance. The staff were also wonderful and we were able to keep our luggage there while wandering even after checking out. While not the most luxurious room ever (if that's what you look for in your stay), it had all the basics (besides a kitchenette, but there was a bar fridge and kettle) and room enough for luggage and relaxing, which is perfect if you're not planning on spending your stay at a hotel.

We didn't end up using the hotel WiFi since we couldn't find the password to it, and couldn't be bothered to ask the staff. Since it wasn't a big priority we didn't look particularly hard so it could have been our mistake.

Location - so close to the action around Barangaroo Precinct. Room - even though the room was compact, the bed was comfy, got USB outlets, and even a day bed that doubles as a dining chair. Staff - staff were extra nice, super helpful. I even got a late check out and they offered to mind my luggage for free after I’ve checked out.

Nothing really, I’ve stayed with Ibis before and I’ve always assumed they’re kinda like a “budget” hotel, so Ibis Sydney Barangaroo exceeded my expectations with access to a fitness room, etc.

The location of this hotel was excellent for a short trip in Sydney while awaiting to disembark on a cruise. It was walkable to nearby shopping and eating. The breakfast was not a buffet, but was filling and tasty. It was basically prepared to order from a small menu. The staff was very accommodating, called a taxi, made sure I had directions to the shopping area, and allowed me to store my luggage while I took the Hop Off/On tour. By the way the bus for that tour stopped just across from the hotel. It is one block from the wharf area where there are more restaurants than you can choose from. Definitely would chose this one again. Thanks Booking.com for making sure you offer the best to us travelers!

My room faced the traffic and I was worried that my privacy might ha.ve been compromised

I will start with the location. The hotel is situated in a super accessible location. A few metres from Wynard Train Station, Wynard Light Rail Station and Darling Harbour from where you can take a ferry too. So many delicious restaurants nearby for people of all ethnicity. Hotel Staff; are so friendly and so inviting. My whole stay was super comfy and super luxurious. The breakfast options are so rich and they taste delicious. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable.

There is nothing that I didn't like.

Location was perfect, close to main attractions and transport. A bit pricey for the size of the rooms which had funny angles. Would have preferred rooms on the higher floor as we were right next to an overpass. Staff were lovely but the bar food was awful.

Bar food, very undercooked bar snacks, chicken gouging, fries and onion rings. Two of our party felt unwell after it. It was 8pm, but we felt the staff wanted to go home! Stormy evening, so we chose to eat in rather than venture out!

I travelled from Adelaide to catch up with colleagues and friends in the city so the location is perfect. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was modern and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is close to public transport and walking distance to everything the city has to offer especially the glorious Barangaroo.

The only thing I was disappointed about was the window blind wasn't a block out blind. I was on a short trip without my 3 year daughter so I was looking forward to sleeping in however the morning light woke me 🥱

The location is amazing!! A 5 minute walk to darling harbour, the staff were so friendly. The room was clean and bed was comfortable.

The room is quite small and the bathroom didn’t have any ventilation - neither did the room. I could see mould becoming an issue in the future, I’d suggest putting strong exhaust fans in the bathroom for better ventilation. I’d also recommend better storage in the bathroom for toiletries etc. Otherwise no other complaints!

Loved the location. The staff were exceptional, I cannot praise them all ( without exception) highly enough from front of house through cafe through to the cleaning staff ( who had such good humour :-) ). There were a couple of minor things for maintenance to fix but they were attended to immediately and without fuss. One of the best hotel experiences I have had, thanks so much!

Very compact room ...... but I could deal with that!

Great location, easy walk to Darling Harbour, The Rocks, Circular Quay - all the shopping, restaurants, bars, and main attractions. Easy walk to public transport - buses, trains, trams and ferries. Staff were friendly and able to accommodate our bags on the day of our departure so that we could continue seeing some sights during the day. The hotel also had a bar and provided a food menu. There was seating available inside and outside. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a mini fridge.

The Hotel didn't seem provide rooms with single beds, only queen size beds. The room was a little on the small side. I would consider this a budget hotel and it seemed on the pricy end for a budget hotel. I know that parking in the city is expensive and I chose not to drive in as it would have costed an additional $45/day to park in the hotel.
