I had a wonderful experience at Vayalen Boutique Hotel! Due to an unexpected flight change, I needed to adjust my reservation dates, and the hotel staff was incredibly understanding and accommodating. They handled my request with such kindness and efficiency, which made my trip planning much smoother. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Vienna’s city center, making it easy to explore all the sights. The rooms are cozy and well-maintained, and the warm hospitality made me feel at home. The location was excellent, right near the subway station and only 10 minute walk to the centre, the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was big and comfortable and the central heating kept it nice and warm on cold December days. The breakfast was really good, hot and cold options and good coffee.

The room was not finished to a great standard, the electric socket next to my side of the bed was broken so I had to charge my phone in the bathroom. There was a kettle provided but nowhere to plug it in close by so we had to move it to the floor near the only working bedside socket to use it, tea and coffee were provided but only for the first night, we had expected it to be replaced daily for the price we had paid per night but unfortunately it wasn’t.

I like the interior design of the lobby, breakfast room, the halls and the room. Easy checkin although I was confused with the hotel name and location. The utilities are all great and I had a pleasant stay. I like the meal served for breakfast and actually like the coffee!

The pillows are not good to to sleep in. Its too big and thick. The air conditioner in my room was not working but can hardly complain about it as I can still open the window a bit for ventilation and the weather was cold so it was a bit fair

- beautiful room, new furniture, comfortable bed, nice bathroom with huge shower and amazing lights for makeup! - position: underground station and tram stop are just around the corner - good value for the price!

- we had to cross a courtyard to reach our room because it was in a detached side of the building: not very comfortable especially at night, because there was no light. But I think they’re still working on the renovation of the whole hotel - the breakfast wasn’t very rich. Nice but not too rich

The room is large and comfy. The bathroom is roomy and clean. The breakfast was really good. They provided a good range of food/drinks. The bed and pillow were comfortable. The location of the hotel was excellent to where our conference was and a few stops away from the centre. I definitely recommend it.

Lack of sockets near the bed to charge our phones. Rest, I really can't complain.

1 minute walk to Metro station which gets you to the city centre in 10 mins or less. Proprietor very pleasant and helpful with very good English. Breakfast substantial, but the bread was a bit tasteless (not like a fresh baguette in France or Spain) Didn't know when we were coming but he told us about the train to the airport from nearby station (1 stop on metro) which only cost about 4 euro and took only 20 mins. There are a few nice restaurants only a few mins walk, and an Irish pub with excellent Guinness, cheaper than at home.

No tea / coffee making facilities in room, nor in hotel (dining room only for breakfast).

Big and comfortable room. The hotel is in a very nice and well-connected area. Excellent value for money (actually, the place was better than expected)

Even though the staff is friendly and helpful, there is a lack of communication among its members. For instance: - I notified weeks in advance my arrival time (nothing special and already within the normal check-in period). The hotel staff said it was ok. When we arrived, we got the room 3.5 hours later, after 6:00 pm. (according to booking, check-in starts at 2:00 pm). - I asked 3 different staff members to schedule a taxi for our early departure to the airport. The 3 of them said they were aware of it and it was taken care already. When the time came, it turned out someone just put a post-it, but no one actually called the taxi company.

We did like the hotel and everything. We had very nice stay. Guys on reception are very friendly!

The only thing is when we had cleaning a cleaner left a fully opened window (November), and when we came nearly 10pm it was so cold in the room…

Whilst the location is not extremely central it is right next to Taborstrasse and Nestroyplatz metro stations. The deluxe room was very comfortable, clean and the staff were all really friendly and helpful.

It wasn't a problem for us but if you don't get a deluxe room be aware that the rooms are on the corridor which you have to walk along to get in and out of the building. I can see from other reviews that this can be noisy and I can see how.

Location is superb, walking distance to Prater and near tube station. The breakfast was kosher, so no meat, it was satisfactory. The Wiena tap water is the best I have ever tasted, delicious and cool. The staff was super nice and pleasant check in was quick and no complications. All was paid in advance by booking.com.

The road outside was busy but with windows closed it was quite quiet in the night. There was no airconditioning, I didn't miss it but someone might find that a problem.
