The size of the room its confortable. The bed and pillows are also nice

The room felt a bit abandoned as some stuff were damaged (walls, floor and the bathroom's door handle) Also during the night was a bit hot and noisy, making it difficult to sleep. The location is good if you need to take a bus or train from the midi station. Otherwise is not a good neighbourhood, I suggest to take he public transport to get to the turistic spots as they are a bit far, and the sorrundings are not nice to walk.

Excellent location, close the Eurostar terminal at the Gare du Midi and Flix Bus. Easy access to other parts of Brussels, by Metro, bus or on foot. Close to the big weekend Market (Avenue Clémenceau/Ropsy Chaudron). The hotel is what i expected for the price I paid: good enough and clean enough. My bedside lamp didn't work and the only television channels available were a few news channels. There is no breakfast option at the hotel, nor is there a kettle in the room to make tea or coffee but there are so many food and drinks options at or by the Gare du Midi that it is not a problem.

A very friendly staff Megmet, (not sure if this is a correct spelling). The location is just a few minutes walk to Brussels Midi station. Spacious room and good Wifi connection inside the room. The bathroom is somewhat smaller. This place is good if you want to take the early train to Brussels airport or the international trains.

The room is lacking table and no electrical socket next to bed. Bathroom wasn’t very clean and no toiletries. The area around the hotel isn’t very safe to walk at night, so be careful.

some small issues with cleaning and shower items should be changed, not good for good hotel like that to ignore some small things to changed inside the rooms I did not took pictures for that but you must check that and change it ( this is for the owner or manager not for the staff )

First and foremost, the location of the hotel is a definite highlight. I found this to be incredibly convenient, especially for exploring the city of Brussels and for day trips to other places like Ghent, Antwerp, Liege and Bruges. The room I stayed in was quite spacious, providing ample room to move around and store luggage. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and I had no trouble getting a good night's sleep. The quality of the sleep was certainly aided by the comfortable mattresses and cozy bedding. One of the standout features of the Escale Hotel was the staff, particularly the receptionists. They were not only friendly but also extremely helpful. They were always ready to provide assistance, answer questions, and offer local recommendations. Their warm and welcoming demeanor truly added to the overall positive experience of the hotel.

The walls are not soundproof. While the spacious room and comfortable beds contributed to a good night's sleep, I occasionally heard noises from nearby rooms. This lack of soundproofing made it challenging to fully relax, especially when there was loud conversation or other disruptions from neighboring guests.

Convenience for Brussels Midi station is the key feature of this hotel, which is otherwise relatively plain and unprepossessing with reasonably priced rooms. The staff are efficient and there are a few basic facilities at reception. Rooms are comfortable and clean, and there are some good takeaway food choices locally.

The hotel suffers from street noise, which is to be expected given the location on a busy road which services international and long distance buses.

The facilities in this hotel are limited but very good. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Drinks can be bought in reception but there are no other frills. The hotel is also close to Brussels Midi/South railway station.

As many other people have pointed out, the area around the hotel is not very attractive. You may find people sleeping rough and begging from you.

Nice room with clean toilet and beds. Cosy and not noisy. One bed is double extra big bed - second one could be also a bit bigger :) For us location very good as just couple of minutes from Midi station. Night shop just ten minutes walking.

A lot of homeless around Midi station area, so also next to the hotel, but it's not hotel's fault.

Hello I was visiting Brussels from Saturday to Sunday I just discovered hotel escale Very big Room and so clean only 500 meters from Brussels midi . Reception very nice ..especially reception on Sunday morning till afternoon was very helpful very kind and so polite iam forget to asking his name ..I’ll comback to this hotel when I’m back to Brussels.

Nothing all perfect

After recent weekend breaks in very small Parisian hotels, it was great to see such a huge room. Very comfortable bed. Perfect location for what I wanted, short walk to Eurostar terminal and midi market. Excellent staff!

Not the best shower, could have done with more and better towels, and patchy internet
