The flat is perfect for staying as a family with kids, everything in the center of brussels can be reached by foot, the view out if the window is great and there is always somethin to watch on the place. We would book it again.

The code lock at the door often needed multiple times to open, which was a bit enerving. The flat appears rather freshly renovated, however some things are already broken or need maintenance (already forwarded to the owner). The equiment in the kitchen is very basic, a few more plates or glasses etc. would have been good. The light in the living room is rather dim.

The location of this apartment is wonderful, in the prettiest area in Brussels with art galleries, restaurants, parks and museums. The size of the property is great, with beautiful views of the square. Check in and out was smooth, and it was a bonus to be able to store our bags at the Smartflats lounge (not on site).

The entryway to the building and the apartments could be cleaned up a little. Carpets were stained, unpleasant smell, and always blocked with laundry baskets. The apartment itself was clean enough but could use a coat of paint. The iron unfortunately didn't work, which was important as we were traveling for work.

The location is great - close to Brussels Central station and the park and museums near the Palace, and only a 10 minute walk to the famous Grand Place. Nice coffee shops round the corner too! The view from our 4th floor apartment was fab (thank goodness there was a lift though!). A very spacious apartment to relax in after lots of walking around Brussels.

The lounge curtains let lots of light in and there was no curtain in the kitchen area. The apartment is open plan (with glass doors on the bedroom), which meant it was too light for sleeping for the majority of the night.

Location is fabulous. 15mins to Grand Place on foot. Very spacious flat. Queen bedroom has one ensuite with bath and shower options and own private space. Big windows. Clean floors. Easy to access via code and easy WiFi connection.

Lift wasn't working. No toiletries provided despite informing them on day 1. Hallway smelled of damp. Hallway was dim. Furniture although fine has seen better days. I would replace the sofa and cushions at the very least as very old. Throw up more art on the walls to add vibrancy.

Great location, easy handling, very spacious place which can be used for work or a bit longer stay as well.

If there's a suggestion, the entrance hall into the building could do with a little more welcoming flair - for once, closing the maintenance door is a big gain - which I did ;-) Giving the master bathroom floor simoly a fresh layer of paint could increase the clean look and feel tremendously.

Very good location. Spacious apartment on the top floor, with a view of the square. Working elevator, comfortable bed, excellent internet connection, well working heating. Bakery and restaurant 2 min away, small supermarket 5 min away. Excellent communication with the host.

The lights in front of the apartment door were not bright. I needed extra light when dialing the door code.

There are no property keys - both the building entry door and the flat door are to be opened using a code sent via sms message / e-mail by Smart Flats. We had no problems with opening the doors. The flat has a great location, walking distance from many touristic attractions in Bruxelles.

We were offered a different flat than the one I selected on Booking. I did not liked the African statues (?) that were in the flat we got to stay in - gave me anxiety (I specifically choose the other flat due to those statues).

I have stayed in the same apartment 3 times and i loved it. It's one of the best areas of Brussels, surrounded by caffes and restaurants and within walking distance to everything.

I see lots of bad reviews about the property, but knowing it for a long time, it's sad to see how it gets damaged every time... Which of course, has nothing to do with SmartFlats, but more with guests who don't treat it with respect.

The location was really good, pretty central. The apartment was very comfortable. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was great. The kitchen had the basics that were needed for a short stay, and there was nice towels and bed linen. It was reasonably clean.

There was a bit of noise from the apartment above and the street. The apartment had obviously originally been well equipped and decorated but it was a little tired: scuffs and dents on the walls, the curtains in the living space were a bit dirty/ marked at the base etc

The correctitude and accuracy of how to get my codes before arrived. Even seems a little hard to find its, after become very easier! Communication with Smartflats on whatsapp is nule.

The less of communication with Smartflats on whatsapp, because is nule. The lack of light from the entry code panel is frustrating. I didn't even have light in the upstairs hallway for 8 days.
